Amazing company - I wish every service company was this good. I called and made a next day appointment, luckily enough they called shortly later and let me know that an opening was available and they could come out today. My service tech came out earlier than the scheduled window, which I really appreciated. He explained what he was doing, showed me what was wrong with my ice maker and he didn't use any terms that I wouldn't have understood. He explained the resolution, the cost, and even offered to let me call my husband since he wasn't there to explain the situation so there would be no confusion. 1 year warranty was standard for the repair and for the service, he assured me they would be available should any additional concerns arise, he did such a through job I honestly don't expect anything wrong to happen. The appointment was short, it only took about 30 minutes to do a complete repair. USE GUINCO! You won't regret it.

Following confirmation of a gas leak at the cooktop from the gas company, a Guinco technician came out on May 8 and added a sealant and yellow teflon tape to the gas connectors below the cooktop. Technician was very courteous, professional, and respectful of my home - wore shoe covers without being asked to do so. Price (which included a $15 coupon) seemed a little high given the short amount of time he was there and that he only used a sealant and some tape. It was also disappointing that he had to run to Home Depot to get the tape. He said he ran out earlier in the day. But overall, a very good experience. Several weeks later, the gas smell that prompted the call to the gas company was still present. On May 29, the same Guinco tech came out; and, he went above and beyond to ensure that the gas leak was repaired. He also apologized for not getting it right the first time. I feel confident that the issue has been resolved this time. Throughout this process, the entire Guinco team has been very professional and responsive. Great customer service!

Happy ending to a long process, over a week. Control board was bad, shorted out the shifter. Ended up manufacturer paid for the control board. Will use only Guinco from now on.

I am sorry, my frig stopped making the noise it was making the day or AM that Guinco was to be here. But the Tec worked to figure it out. They have worked on this refrigerator several times. They are always very knowledgeable and polite and leave every thing spotless when they leave. I will always use Guinco.

My Kitchen Aid dish washer was not working- It would not drain. Service technician Ryan Besyner was prompt, polite and extremely knowledgable. He quickly located the issue and had my dish washer up and running within minutes. Ryan also took extra time to recommend operational tips to insure efficiency and to keep my dish washer in tip -top shape! I did not have to pay for this repair service as it was covered under my Kitchen Aid warranty. However, I will use Guinco for all my appliance repairs in the future. It's very rare to find such outstanding and professional customer service. Thanks Ryan and thank you to Guinco!.

They do excellent work. Once you call them and set it up, they let you know what time they're supposed to be there. Then they send you an email with the picture of the guy who's coming out. Then they contact you to make sure you respond back so you're there when they come out. Then he contacts you 30 minutes before he comes. He's professional and polite. He's also clean.

They knew about the factory warranty replacement of this part when another service provider that I contacted first had not and did not fix it. Guinco came on time, did the work efficiently and then checked our other KitchenAid appliances for repair issues. They replaced the plastic parts in ;the dishwasher with factory authorized metal parts. They were the epitome of professionalism. I would certainly use them again is needed.

My less than 3 yrs old Maytag washer wouldn't spin and was very loud. The technician told me the transmission was bad and the repair would be over $500. I agreed to the $99 service call, but for that price I would buy a new washer. He told me he would make some calls to see if he could get me a better "deal". I was thinking a better "deal" on a new washer. He came back and told me that Maytag was going to cover the replacement transmission, so now their labor charge would be $255. Definitely a step up from the $99 that I originally agreed to pay. I am thinking that instead of hitting me with the $500 plus, originally, knowing that the machine was less than 3 yrs old. He should have made the phone call upfront to see if the part would be covered. Instead, I feel that when he realized that he would only make $99 on this call, he then decided to put a little more effort into making the repair a little a little less costly for me.

I was very pleased with the repairman, Angel. He explained all my options and the cost for each and was polite when I chose the lesser of the possibilities. Everything was cleaned up and neat. I will definitely use them again for my appliance repairs.

Response from initial call was very quick and appt. was set up at my convenience. Technician Michael showed up right on time, diagnosed the problem and gave me a couple of options. We ended up replacing the valve (one of the more expensive parts in a gas dryer)....he had to order the part and set up a return visit. He arrived right on schedule to install the part, did it quickly and efficiently and was out in a half hour after giving the dryer a final tuneup. Technician Michael was very personable and professional.

I made an appointment on line. The response was quick, though it wasn't easy finding a real telephone number on their website. I made an appointment for the very next day! Fast! They called when the repairman was on his way. He showed up at the time (three hour window) he was supposed to. The cost was high, but I haven't had a dishwasher pump replaced before, and I don't think Kitchenaid is a cheap brand. The work was done today, so I haven't had a chance to see how it performs in the long run. The website appointment is easy to use, but they don't say it'll cost you $99 for a diagnostic that will not cover any parts or repairs.

Called to fix dishwasher but found the problem was with the breaker. Checked out dishwasher anyway once breaker was corrected and only charged the base service call charge. Very much appreciate the advance email with picture of the technician for security purposes.

They did fine. The oven was not worth saving.

Angel came promptly and tested the dishwasher in different cycles and learned not all functioned properly . Parts are discontinued for timer and whatever else might be necessary since the dishwasher is estimated at close to 20 years old. We will shop for a replacement Kitchenaid dishwasher since this is the only problem we ever had in almost 12 years with the present one.

I talked to this service provider a couple of weeks ago to get my dishwashers repaired. The person I talked to had all my contact info since we had used them before. They advised to call manufacturer since the appliances might still be under warrentry and get a work order set up so Guinco could come out and do the repair. I talked to the manufacturer this morning and then called Guinco back to set up an appointment. The company rep was very polite but said they didn't service our area. We live in Melissa which is in North Collin county and have used these guys before so I was rather surprised. And well, wouldn't that have been nice to know before I went to all this trouble. What a waste of time. In fact, their website even lists Melissa as one of the towns that they service. This is poor customer service......

I called Monday morning, Lisa listen to my situation. Having my elderly mom that lives with me and no heat. They came out within 1 hour. Taylor was awesome. He was polite, listened and was understanding. He was able to clear pipe and reset furnace. He treated me with respect. I have used them for maintenance and repairs previously and will continue to use this company.

Our gas oven stopped heating the Monday evening before Thanksgiving. I called Guinco Tuesday morning and explained how much I needed the oven to work for Thanksgiving on Thursday! They told me they would try to get a tech to me asap, but admitted that they didn't stock many GE brand parts on the truck. They were very honest that they would most likely have to order the part, and not have it repaired before Thanksgiving. The office staff was SO helpful. She gave me the phone number to GE to see if I could find another repair company that could come out that had the parts in stock. It was quite clear that they wanted me taken care of even more than they cared about making the money off of me themselves. At her recommendation I called various other companies for 2 hours. NO ONE else was even willing to come out before Thanksgiving, let alone have the part in stock. I called Guinco back Tuesday afternoon to ask them to still come out and do the best they could. If we had to order the part, we would just cross that bridge. Angel came FIRST thing Wednesday morning. He was very kind and professional. (Even with my preschoolers running around showing him their turkey drawings!) He diagnosed that the ignition was the problem. He said he did not have the GE part on the truck, but thought he had another brand that would work. He was right and we have a working oven for Thanksgiving! I could not be happier with this company and they have my business for life. I talked to 3 different people at the office throughout the 2 days and all were kind and helpful, even calling around themselves to try to help me.

This is my first review after many years of using AL. Guinco is fantastic. Michael in Dallas, especially. I have used them many times for various repairs and they are always professional, skilled, and trustworthy. Dryer, built in refrigerator, built in microwave, and oven/stove at one of our investment properties. Previous service company could not even compare. No need to look further!

Repairman arrived on time. He was very nice and professional. We opted not to have the repair done due to the cost of the repair vs the age of the machine and the cost of a new dishwasher. The only issue was that the service call was overpriced.

They didn't have immediate availability. The work was done at a rental property and I never received a call from the service tech about the work that was done. I had to call the company and they said they would have him call, but he still didn't call. Other than that, the company has been very good about making sure they had all the information possible when I called. They offered to call me back to let me know the date and time the appointment had been setup with my tenants. When I called to get an invoice sent to me, they were prompt.

The refrigerator lights were finally fixed at the 3rd technician's visit. The first two techs assumed that the frig had 6 LED lights. The seventh LED light, wired in series, was defective causing the two others to flicker and dim. The 1st Technician came under the impression that he was to fix a refrigerator that was not cooling. When I told him that the issue was the light he had only one light in his truck which he replaced. The lights remained dim and flickering. He diagnosed it as a bad control board. A week later a 2nd techician came, changed the control board. The lights remained dim and flickering. When he consulted with Kitchenaide's tech support he was told that "thats the way the lights were supposed to be" Really!!! I talked to Jeff the owner and he decided to look into the matter again. So they concluded that the only possibility was a bad power supply. A 3rd technician, Angel Martinez, came and changed the power supply. The lights remained dim and flickering. When I mentioned that according to the schematics his Supervisor had found that there were seven lights and not six, he looked further down and found a light at the back that was completely burnt out which the first two technicians missed. He changed it, and voila, all seven lights were bright and working like new. Evidentally, these lights are in series and when one goes bad then it affects the others in the same circuit. A schematics of the circuits with the technicians would have saved Guinco multiple trips and unnecessary replacement of the circuit board and the power supply. On the positive side Jeff's dedication in solving the light problem no matter how many trips it took is highly appreciated. Scheduling and other office support in keeping the customer fully informed is great. Angel Martinez was superbly knowledgeable with excellent communication skills.
