Called for G.E. dishwasher repair - water was standing in the bottom of the d.w. at the end of a cycle & making a loud, clanging noise while running. Repairman looked it over & said the pump needed to be replaced & then gave an estimate to replace the pump, $374. Decided to get 2nd opinion so called ABA Maytag Service. He determined the cut-off valve was not completely open. he opened the valve & cleaned the disposer inlet & now it works fine. Charge was $49.95 + tax, much less than a new dishwasher.

I emailed this company and they never responded. They should not have an email if they are not going to respond.

GUINCO SERVICE always seems to do a good job and they work on a variety of appliances. They are always good with professionalism and cleanup.

Could not be more happy with service I received. Technician (Dustin) immediately recognized the repair that needed to be done. And when repair was done, he also did an overall assessment of my dishwasher function and noticed that the drainage tube was not positioned under my sink correctly and tied it up for me. Went beyond just repairing the appliance and made sure it would work well too. Would absolutely call this company again. They sent a repairman the day after we called and he was on time. Thank you !!

We called Guinco Friday morning and asked for repair on our washing machine. We were fairly confident that it was the lid switch. They said they would have a technician at our house between one and four p.m. and that the trip cost would be $79 plus parts. The technician arrived about 3:30, diagnosed the problem, replaced the part (which he had on the truck), and was gone by 3:50. We will definitely use them again.

They were very professional. The technicians who came in to repair were really helpful and explained me about the options and were very frank about telling me what the alternatives were. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future.

I have used them many times before and have always been happy with the work. They are very polite and professional, and always come out on time. Angel came out and serviced all a/c units. We had problems with all three, but after explaining the issues, we determined that repair on the 3rd unit could wait. He fixed the other two units and they are working fine.

For awhile our Maytag gas range oven door would not close completely to the point where heat would escape while it was being used(unless we wedged something up against it).. After doing a some quick Google searches it looked like the door hinges went bad, but not really something simple you could fix. So I went to the Maytag repair site and scheduled an appointment with a repair tech. They gave me 3 different companies as options and Guinco had the best score on Angies list. First off, I made this appointment before we had all the inclement weather here in Dallas(February 2011) but even with all the ice and snow on the ground on the schedule date, the repair tech still braved his way out to our house. He was very polite and clean(puttng on those pull over booties they wear) even though we told him not to worry as our dogs had already made a mess of the floor. He diagnosed the problem and concurred with what I found out online, that it was the hinges. Unfortunately due to the snow he wouldn't be able to get the replacements that day so we scheduled it for the following Friday. On which he showed up close to the beginning of the 3 hour time window they gave and fixed the oven door pretty quick. He was a very friendly guy and knows his stuff. I will definitely call on Guinco again if I need some appliance repair. Thanks guys!

Our technician showed up on time and gave me a detailed explanation on what was wrong. He sent me a written estimate via email and explained the comparative cost of repairing the old SubZero that came with our house and buying a new comparable refrigerator. The service call fee counted toward the repair, and it ended up being less than estimated. The unit is cooling so well now...I really couldn't be more pleased.

My experience was great. Jeff was very professional and showed up right on time. He thoroughly explained to me the problem and fixed it quickly. He was also very honest when replacing the water filter. He said I could probably find one cheaper online if I wanted to wait, but since the service was free and he did such a good job I bought it from him then. There was a minor leak into the tray that most technicians would have just ignored. Jeff diagnosed it and made a second trip out to install an extra valve to fix it completely. Now it works perfectly. I will definitely call Guinco for my next service need.

His work was pretty impressive. He troubleshot everything and told me that he needed to get some equipment and a part and offered me a discount. I spent $79.95 on that work. I was impressed with the service guy Allan. He came out when he said he would. He was a quiet guy and that is what I like.

I checked their website and decided to call them instead of making an appointment online. They were easy to reach. The gentleman that came out was punctual and puts coverings on his shoes when he comes in. He is very knowledgeable and fixed what we thought the problem was. Afer a couple of days it quit again. They came back out and reported that the problem was probably due to what the previous company had done. They fixed it and I didn't have to pay a second service call. They confirm appointments via email and are very professional. I will use them exclusively.

Guinco came out 2 times on the unit. The first was to check it and order parts. The second visit was after the wrong part was received. There was supposed to be a third visit, but the tech canceled at the last minute because the appointment had been scheduled too late, even though I twice confirmed the scheduled time. Another company eventually performed the repairs, without replacing any parts.

Guinco is a great company to work with. I was able to get an appointment quickly. They were easily able to assess the problem with the refrigerator. Since the part for the repair was costly and the fridge was only one year old, the repairman suggested that I call the manufacturer to see if they could help with the cost. His advice worked and ended up saving me half the price of the repair! I appreciate Guinco?s professionalism and customer service!

This work went very well. The persons dispatched for the work were very impressive people, courteous, respectful. It crossed my mind at one time that any one of them could don a business suit and sit behind a desk - so professional was their demeanor. I was consulted about any possible changes in the plan; I was sought out and introduced to a new person who arrived later in the day. When the ducts were cut, one person stood below with a wastebasket to catch all dust from the cutout. Afterwards, the area was vacuumed thoroughly. They were so focused that at times, it almost seemed like they were not there. I felt a great trust and confidence in them. I am planning to sign on with them for a regular a/c maintenance for my older unit as a result of my interaction with members of their company!

I was very pleased with the work and will hire them again if I have another problem.

Came home on Sunday evening and realized that my house was warmer than it should be. Checked the unit and noticed the fan was not running. Called GuinCo. They came out promptly and repaired the problem in less than an hour. Provider was very professional. He even put on paper booties because there was mud by the condenser and he did not want to bring it into the house. Very satisfied with the service.

Joe came during the promised time frame for a diagnosis of the problem with my GE dishwasher and immediately diagnosed the problem. The repair required a part that had to be ordered. The office sent me the time for the repair once the part was ordered. Joe came on time and fixed the dishwasher. Joe was very professional and even cleaned a scuff mark on the kitchen floor before he left. The price was the same as quoted. I will definitely use this service again. Martha

I was so grateful for his input! I asked him which manufacturer he thought was the best and even where he felt I might get the best price. I followed his adivice, checked on the internet, made calls and bought a new dryer the next day! It was delivered the day after that. I am an older widow who lives alone. I was so disappointed in the Maytag dryer for it was only three years old and not used all that often. Joe even contacted a Maytag tech person to make sure his "diagnoses" was correct! This experience was perfect in my opinion. Sears had quoted $159 just to come. Guinco said that the cost to come would be $79 but that would have been applied to the repair had I chosen to do that! Mr Copeland was professional, timely and very helpful. I also appreciated that he did NOT pressure me to make the repair but gave me his opinion when I asked for it and then let me make the choice. Was not able to use this company as we had to use a company that the insurance company recommend. Great customer service from this company though. We have used them on appliance repair and they are an A+++ company

I was happy with the service but there was confusion regarding the charges. I thought that I was told the service charge would be $39.95. In fact, the charge was $79.95. I was unable to use the $25 coupon provided on Angie's website. I paid the full bill and called the company. I was told that the coupon did not apply because no repairs were made. The coupon does not specify this. The company called me back and told me they were mailing me a coupon for $25 off any future diagnosis. The company was professional and courteous. However, due to the confusion of pricing, I will not use the company again.

The work turned out successfully. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I would use them again, but luckily I have not needed to.

My faith in appliance repairmen is restored. Joe Copeland was the service tech was prompt and professional. I appreciated that they worked me into their schedule for today when I called with my problem. No having to wait days for someone to call me back or come out. From start to finish very professional. Joe explained every step of what he needed to do and quoted the price up front. I will definitely use this company in the future and have already recommended Guinco to friends and family.

The fan for the air compressor was overheating and therefore stopping. This caused the air compressor and therefore the coolant to heat up. This resulted in the AC running but not cooling the house. The tech diagnosed the issue and replaced the fan motor. While waiting for the fan motor to fail, he checked my coolant levels and inspected the compressor. The fan motor eventually failed. He replaced the fan motor and everything has worked since.

I called them about a year ago to repair my washer and dryer and I was very happy with the way they responded. They responded very fast. They are going to come in the fall for the heating. I signed a contract with them. I think the price is about the same everywhere. They may be a little higher. He was very nice and polite and went all around the place to check the A/C. They gave me a 12-3 range of time and he came about 12:30. I wasn?t home but my wife was very happy.
