Guinco Service

Dustin was extremely professional and answered all the questions we had about proper maintainence procedure etc. Would strongly recommend their service again in the future.

My ice maker had stopped working some time back. The serviceman Tim was very professional and explained the problem. He had to order a part which was delivered the following week. He was on time and everything went as scheduled. First class all the way.

I called to schedule an appointment with Guinco Service on a Friday. I was told to provide an email address and they would email a time they would be to the house for repair. I finally received an email late Sunday evening stating a service technician would be at our house Monday morning 8:00 am. There was no way I could take off from work to be available at that late notice. I contacted Guinco to set up a mutally convenient time. Guinco rescheduled an appointment for a technician to arrive between 12:00 and 3:00 pm. I told JD Moss at Guino I could not home any earlier than noon. We waited and a technician never showed. I phoned Guinco at 4:00 to inquire when the technician would come and I was told he came at 11:00 am. This was extremely disappointing because I took off work to be available between noon and 3:00 pm - the time frame I was told the technician would come. Guinco rescheduled for the following Thursday and again a technician failed to show. Guinco clearly has no concept of scheduling or customer service.

Great! They were very punctual, took their time explaining the issues and made sure I was comfortable with their diagnosis. Felt like a friend was helping me with my problem.

They came out immediately. They gave the dishwasher a very thorough examination. He said he could fix it, but I would recommend getting another dishwasher. They didn't charge me for the visit. They are very trustworthy.

I will always call Guinco for any appliance repair concerns.

They were very knowledgeable and he was very polite and careful and he showed respect for our property.

Their technician made a service call to determine what needed to be done to fix the problem and explained my options. I chose to have him order parts and replace the two damaged control panels and paid for the service call on that visit. He returned as scheduled to complete the work and deducted my prior payment from the total. The total price turned out to be less than the original estimate and I was very pleased with the job done.

.The technician arrived in a timely manner and diagnosed the problem. A new part was needed which could be picked up that day and installed in the afternoon. From what was said, I expected him to return in the early afternoon, but he did not arrive until 5:30. He completed his other calls first before returning to us. The repair was completed in about an hour. I do wish he had been more specific as to when he would be returning. I could have used the time waiting for him to do something else. My only issue with the service was that there was no communication from Guinco regarding the service charge. It was not out of line, albeit not inexpensive. However, it was never communicated until the estimate for the repair was provided by the technician.

They came out when they said they were going to come out. The price was what they said it would be. They were professional and came to talk to us about it. They were good.

They came out between the promised time. Diagnosed the problem quickly and let me know the possible outcomes of the repair - in short, would a new starter fix the problem or would I need a new compressor (in which case I should probably just buy a new frig). The repairman gave me some thoughts about the age of my frig (13 yrs old) and the likelihood of the probably repair. He quoted a price. Luckily, I just needed the new starter and can get by for some amount of time before having to buy a new unit. I used my Angie's List coupon with no problem. They emailed me my receipt as promised. I'm very happy with the outcome, thus far.

Top notch customer service. Explained in detail what they would do, how they would do it, what the effect and result would be. Michael Thompson and his crew were exceptional in every way you would want. This was a very difficult decision to not only have to make but to have to financially endure. However, after giving his professional opinion and expertise, I was positive I made the right choice to not only have it done but have it completed by Guinco. There is no doubt in my mind that i would and WILL refer Guinco to all of my neighbors, friend, and co-workers. The price may have been a bit high but they were the most competitive out of the three estimates I got. Further, I received the top of the line system in TRANE with a great warranty and service package knowing my system is protected. Thank you Guinco. I appreciate your help.

The individual that did the repair diagnosed the problem and then set up an appointment to return and fix it. He returned the day and time of that appt, and fixed the problem. He was very helpful, professional, and offered some helpful recommendations and advice.

Had water leaking on kitchen floor when using the water dispenser on the refrigerator. I checked and found that the leak was inside the back of the refrigerator, but could not tell exactly where it was coming from. Checked Angie's List for Large Appliance businesses. Was impressed with previous write-ups for Guinco after researching many others. Called them that morning and secretary said they might be able to come out that afternoon as there was someone working in that area today (Wednesday), otherwise it would be Friday before they could send someone out to look at my refrigerator water leak. She said she would call soon to let me know. Within an hour she called back and said someone could come out between 4pm-7pm that afternoon. I said that would be great! I also asked that they give me a call about 30 minutes prior to arriving at my home and the technician, Dustin, did that before he showed up at about 5:45pm. Dustin was very professional, clean cut, courteous and knowledgeable, and took care of my refrigerator problem in a timely manner. I had mentioned that I gotten their name from Angie's List and before writing the bill, he asked if I had an Angie's List discount coupon, which I did, and he applied it to the bill. Dustin also gave us some unsolicited pointers on our dishwasher detergent use which was appreciated. Fortunately the leaking area was not deep inside the refrigerator, hence a fairly quick and relatively inexpensive fix.

Prompt arrival and quick repair. These folks are good and know their stuff. We were very pleased and will use them again.

The technician was very helpful, professional and gave good suggestions on my appliance. The charge was not outrageous for what was done. There was still warranty on the ice maker and he was able to find the problem and solve it. He was very easy to understand and competent. If I called this company again I would request the same technician.

I called because the clock on my oven wasn't working due to a power surge. Everything else was ok - just the clock. The tech (Allen) said he had never seen anything like this before. Usually, when the clock isn't working the oven doesn't work either. I told him I had called Kitchen Aid and they told me to throw the breaker and if that didn't work there wasn't nothing else I could do. A new motherboard was going to cost approx. $500. Allen couldn't get over the fact that everything else on the oven was working, so he had me pull out the owner's manual. Sure enough, he followed some instructions in the manualand the clock was re-set. Now, mind you, we have had power outages before and I have had to reset this clock many times. However, this time it wouldn't re-set they way I normally would have re-set it. So, all I had to pay for was the service call. My husband joked that it was pretty expensive to have a guy come in and read the service manual. My reply to him was that I had saved him $400! I should say Allen saved him $400! Anyway, I was very pleased with the way things went and I would definitely use Guinco Service again.

Our house was built in 1994, and we have a built-in Sub Zero Refrigerator. The ice maker had stopped working, and I needed someone to appraise the damage (did it need replacing or repairing?), give an estimate for repair, and complete the repairs. With Guinco, I got REALLY lucky! They can do it all! Tim Brand was our technician, and when he entered the house I knew I had a really professional group working with me. He even put on booties so he would not get anything on the floor. (Needless to say, it WASN'T raining) Tim is one of those quietly efficient people who can come in and check out the problem, then figure out how it needs to be fixed. He took one look at the icemaker, saw that it had a burned out motor, and turned to his laptop to look up the repair part. The subzero we have is an older model, so he really had to make some calls and do some research before he found the right part. I figured we would have to wait until the following week, but Tim walked out to his van, picked up the part, and fixed our fridge just like new. Subzero had quit manufacturing that icemaker, so he had to find out which part was used to repair it. I had also asked that the subzero be checked for service, but he said it did not need it, as we had vacuumed the coils recently. So, he could have charged us for an additional job, but he didn't. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and I would trust him to fix anything in our home. He came exactly on time, his fee was reasonable, and he made sure I was satisfied before he left. Guinco is a repair organization with well- trained, professional technicians. They will send you the right person for your job and you will be satisfied with the results. I'm really glad I signed up for Angie's List because I would have never known about them.

I called at 3pm at by 5:30pm we had a nice tech (Justin) out to help. He explained in detail the repair needed and made sure he answered all questions. Was definitely satisfied with the service, great guys!

They said that there was nothing wrong with it after they checked it. They were really good. They came when they said they were going to come. They were efficient and didn’t take too much time. I thought they were very pretty thorough.

No response, so after 1 week of waiting, I attempted to find another provider.

Excellent!!! My husband contacted on Wed and requested a second opinion. Our tech came out the same day. I feel that he gave my genuine and honest answers and gave me options that I didn't receive from the others. After determining what service I wanted, we discussed when the repairs could be done. I wanted to do it if possible the same day, but was unable to so we scheduled us the next day, Thurs 7/14 afternoon. So on Thurs our tech comes out on time, let's me know he's here and begins working. He verified everything was working once I turned on the unit and let me know it would take several hours for the house to cool. I paid by check and received my receipt via email.

They have been here four times within the last two months. It is still not fixed. We don't know what is wrong and they can't fix it. They weren't bad about punctuality.
