Josh was in and out in a very short time and we have not had a repeat of the problem.

Ricky was very neat and very professional.

We had a less than satisfactory experience with the "factory" technicians, and took to Angie's List for someone who would be able to take care of us in a timely fashion and professional manner. My sister-in-law was the first to use Guinco for an issue with her fridge, and gave a crucial thumbs up. I have to say the folks were great. They got a technician to our home in a reasonable amount of time, their technician, Joe, was great, and they fixed our fridge. The repairs were expensive, however, that was driven by the cost of the parts, which I knew would be the case going in. We were treated fairly, the issue is fixed, and Joe was great to have in our home. He was professional, cleaned up after himself, was very polite, and was very patient as I watched him perform some of the repairs. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

I really liked that they brought in their own heavy mats to protect my floors while they worked. Would definitely use them again.

The service guy was very polite & called around to different places looking for parts before finally telling us that he couldn't find them.

The touch panel on my dishwasher was frozen. The tech diagnosed and reset it, but went far beyond and checked all the 'guts' and made some suggestions for operations that have made the appliance more effective. Very pleasant. I was particularly impressed with the communication. Email confirmation of my appointment, call in advance so I could meet him and lose minimal work time and good follow-up. Great to find an excellent service company on Angies List.

They came, they fixed, they charged over $150. No details necessary.

This did not solve problem and he told me gas valves needed to be replaced but 575.00 which I can buy a new gas stove top for that.

A couple of disappointments: Their office did not followup on calls, tech was running late and caused me to miss work time, and no actual service was done, just gave me helpful info on machine, and they still charged me $100.

This is one of the most professional appliance service companies I have ever encountered. The repairmen they send are knowledgeable, polite, and are really good about explaining things. Have used them before and will use them again.

The technician was prompt, courteous, and took the time to cover his shoes so that he didn't track anything in on my floors. He was very polite and worked quickly. Absolutely no problems at all! I kind of feel bad giving Guinco a C on price. They charge $99 just to come out, which I figure is pretty standard. No issues with that. But several hundred dollars for a circuit board?!? Wow! I don't think that Guinco has a whole lot of control over that, but I was still surprised by the cost. When I can buy a complete motherboard for a computer for less than $100 at the store, I wouldn't have thought that a circuit board for the ice maker would cost so much. Like I said, I feel bad giving them a C on price because I don't know how much control they have over what they charged for the circuit board. I still give them an overall rating of A and would use them again.

Josh Skipworth (our technician) arrived on time. He was very professional and informed us what the problem was. After receiving the 'go-ahead', he was able to complete the repair (all work done in a single call). My only comment (and this is NOT directed towards Josh) is that it appears that Guinco either can't or won't work off of the 'message provider', as I sent 2 messages (12/22 & 1/3) and received no replies. It was only after i called Guinco that I was able to establish contact with them.

Technical was very friendly and helpful. He explained the issue and what needed to by done and why. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Service man arrived within the specified time frame. Spent a minute discussing the symptoms. He got to work. Within a few minutes he had jimmied the stuck motor/driveshaft loose and it was up and running right as rain. Awesome!. He just as easily could have told an unsuspecting person that the motor was bad, and replaced it for a lot more money. I respect integrity above ALL OTHER THINGS in dealings such as this. Guinco's service man has it in spades. YES, I will use them again! YES, I will recommend them to all my friends and acquaintences.

It went great! They called me approximately 30 minutes after you contacted them on my behalf. A service rep from Guinco made an appointment for 2 days later & the rep arrived on time and was polite and very effective. He assessed that the thermomister needed to be replaced along with a gasket that seals the air between the refrigeration compartment and the frozen drop for ice. The Whirlpool refrigerator was freezing everything in the refrigerator compartment. He came back in 2 days with parts and replaced the bad parts and it's all fixed! I would totally recommend Guinco to anyone. The price included the service call, parts and labor. Guinco communicated with me daily via email and it was a totally great experience; they also asked that I complete a survey afterwards.

iExcellent. Michael Marks is our service technician. This is not the first time he has come out to service one of our appliances, so we knew we would be in for a treat! Michael is thorough, diligent, knowledgable, punctual and absolutely pleasant to have in our home! And....of course, he does excellent work. Once Michael's fixed a problem....it is fixed!

From the first call to Guinco until the technician left our house, the service was professional, responsive, and very easy to use. The technician was knowledgeable, had the part ready when he arrived, and fixed the dryer in under 15 minutes. Truly great service and they warranty the parts and the labor. We will definitely use them again.

Called and left a message the night before when I smelled a burning smell coming from the freezer. They called 30 minutes before they officially opened, and had someone here before noon! I lost very little food to thaw. Dustin came and fixed the refrigerator within 30 minutes. Replaced 2 burnt out relays. He was professional and very helpful. This is the third time Guinco has come here and we love them. Thank You Guinco!

Love this company's very nice way of communicating - always sends an announcement email telling you when to expect the tech with a photo of the person who is coming to your house! The email also asks you to confirm the appointment. The tech calls before he comes out and today he was 30 minutes early, diagnosed the problem, did the repair, left his card if there was a problem, charged my credit card via his smart phone, emailed me the receipt and was out the door in much less than an hour! The only draw back is this company is not cheap, replacing that broken plastic bracket cost $243.18.

I was amazed when I called Guinco Appliance first thing in the morning and the serviceman came to our door @ noon. I selected Gunco after reading all the positive comments stated on Angue's List and I couldn't wait to write a review. My husband and I were particularly impressed by our serviceman, Alvin Rios. He was very professional and courteous.

Received name of company from Angie's List/called and told that there would be a $99 charge for the technician to evaluate the problem and the charge would be applied to any repairs done. A time & date was set up and I received a call when the technician was on his way. Alvin, was very courteous, used covers over his shoes and explained that a part had to be sent out and repaired. I received a call when the part was in and set up another time & date. I found Guinco Appliance Repair Company to be very professional, punctual and the charges were very fair. Since all my appliances are older I expect to need repair service again and I will definitely call Guinco and ask for technician Alvin.

Good national and local appointment by extended warranty company, then contacted by Guinco repair service, made appointment, they confirmed a few days out, then a phone call the day of service saying Tech was just leaving the appointment before me, Tech showed up only about :10 minutes after warning call, nice guy, professional, clean. Made rapid repair, and gave me tips on operating dishwasher better. Great experience! will use again.

I made my original appt through Whirlpool. However, when the company gave me a couple options of companies, I first checked out Guinco on Angies List before confirming. AL rated Guinco extremely high, so there was no reason to look further. Two people showed for the appt. They quickly evaluated the washer and refrigerator problems and determined the repairs needed. The repairs required ordering parts. So Chris returned the next week with the parts and installed them. In addition to the great job of diagnosing and repairs, I was very impressed with the company's communications. I received emails to confirm appts. I also received calls with an estimated time of arrival. Both were automated. But if this automation keeps me well-informed, I don't mind that I didn't talk with a person until they arrived. It's always a little unsettling to me to invite strangers into your house to work. That's why I swear by Angie's List. But now I also have one company (Guinco) to call when my large appliances need repair.

First visit repair guy couldn't get frig from cabinet. Recommended I get carpet guy to come cut the carpet. Luckily, before resorting to that, I asked sons to come over. They screwed up frig feet and got it out. Second visit, repairman came with another guy, but work wasn't completed. Third visit repairman ran out of fuel for torch, had to go get some & didn't finish job. Was leaving for vacation the next day so I had to wait another week for him to return. Finally finished repairs on 4th visit and then presented me with a bill for over $800! I had been quoted $400.....this fix not include any parts as it was under warranty and Sub-Zero sent needed parts at no cost. Contacted the owner with these comments before posting them here, but received no response.

I called and they came first thing the next morning. They were very punctual, dressed in uniform, and looked very professional. He was a very pleasant man and explained it would cost $270 to repair the machine. He suggested I replace it because it is fifteen years old and no longer energy efficient. I took his advise and purchased a new washing machine. I thought the price was reasonable for the work performed and I would definitely use them again for an appliance repair.
