Gary came out the next day, explained that we needed to replace the entire downspouts(not just the rusted areas) as the steel had been replaced by aluminum(that does not rust). He said typically gutter jobs have a minimum charge of $300 but gave us a $100 discount since only 3 needed to be replaced. He ordered them, came out promptly and completed the work in a couple of hours. He did a fantastic job, was very reasonably priced! He also gave us advice on protecting the remaining gutters and downspouts from rusting!

Excellent workmanship, Gary seems to really care about the quality of the job he does at a competitive price. He showed up when he said he would for both the estimate and for the installation and finished in exactly the time he told me it would take.

Gutter Bros. was very responsive. He came out the very next day to assess the problem. The following week the repair was made. I would certainly trust them to do future work because he was honest enough to recommend a solution that was not the most expensive and complicated way to fix my gutter. And he did a great job. He was friendly, professional and very customer service oriented. I would highly recommend Gutter Bros.

He did an excellent job. He stuck by his proposal. He didn't vary from his estimate. He didn't require any money upfront and didn't take our money until he was finished with the project. He's honest, timely and a good guy to work with.

I had just gotten my house painted and was telling a friend that I needed to have my gutters replaced, when he told me about Gutter Brothers. I got their number and made the call. Gary came over, did a walk through with me, and answered all questions that I had about the job. My builder had originally put gutters on only parts of my house and this concerned me. Gary told me that he could gutter the entire house...but he didn't think I needed to spend that money because the slope of my property (drainage) told him so. He had me sold on his company right there! Honesty...what a concept! He gave me a quote and I accepted. He asked if I heard about him from Angie's List and I told him no from a friend who had work done by his company. Having used Angie's list for my painter, and knowing now that Gutter Brothers has reviews on the list, I wanted to let everyone know how good the service was as well as the quality. Gary and Mike came out to my house promptly and got right to work. I was pleasantly surprised at the craftsmanship and thought that went into their work. The fit and finish of the corners, downspouts, splashguards etc. was excellent! I even made the comment to Gary that I like the way my gutters sloped slightly to facilitate proper draining...that may sound obvious, but evidently my builder didn't do this! It's the little things that usually make the difference. He even matched my new paint perfectly! If you're looking for gutters, you owe it to yourself to give Gary a call...you won't be disappointed.

The people who originally installed the gutters didn't do it properly. He came and fixed the problem and what he did certainly helped. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely use them in the future.

I called him for service and he returned the call a few hours later. He came out and gave me an estimate. He was very honest with me about the state of our gutters. He was obviously knoweldgeable and did not try to oversell. When he came out, he stuck by his estimate. He came up and put gutters and leaf guards on the side of my house in the 110 degree heat. They were very nice to work with and they did a beautiful job. I would recommend him to anyone.

Gary came highly recommended from both AL and personal acquaintances. As always, I obtained multiple bids for the job, and Gary's was very competitive. As a picky consumer who does just enough research to be annoying, it is important for me to hire someone both expert AND easy to work with, willing to answer questions, and willing to accommodate special needs in terms of materials, workmanship, etc. I prefer to work with contractors who are smaller and owner-operated, when I can, since I don't like "salesmen" who are detached from the actual work that will be done. Gary met and exceeded all of these high expectations. He was (and is) very responsive, very personable, very expert, and very hard-working. The job was completed on time, on budget and with utmost care and attention to detail. The gutters look great, & have performed beautifully. Gary was even extremely gracious to come out ~14 months later for a minor adjustment to 1 section, without a charge. I expect that these gutters are so good that they will outlive both my house and me. However, should I ever need gutter work in the future, I would happily hire Gary again. I am happy to recommend him without reservation.

Gary spent almost an hour looking at our job and explaining to me what needed to be done. He detailed his decision-tree and let me know where the costs might increase if the rot was more significant than what we could see. He also told me how to remove the old gutter, which took about 2 hours and saved us $100. It was bulk trash pick up week on our block - but the gutters were picked up by a stealth "recycler" that night. We had been getting bids on this job off and on for 2 years. Most larger gutter companies would not do the wood work. Several of the wood repair bids included 'bondo', which seemed inappropriate given the extent of the rotten wood. Gary came to our job on time on the scheduled day, introduced Mike and got down to business. When the bad wood was down, he explained the next steps and how they would impact the cost. I had total confidence in his advice. They finished the work as scheduled and I know that it was done right. We will hire Gutter Brothers again to do the other side of the house this winter.

Gary and Mike originally estimated up to 3 days to perform the job. They did it in 2 days, worked quite fast and did a great job. Gary worked up an estimated which allowed me to choose which jobs I would want to handle myself and which jobs they would do for me. He called this an a la carte estimate. Their estimate was right on target. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I called to get an estimate on having new gutters installed on a home I just purchased. The inspector for the home recommended we have them installed on at least one side of the house. Gary returned my calls promptly and arrived for the estimate exactly when he said he would. When Gary was finished inspecting my home, he actually recommended that I don't install any gutters. He said based on the grading of my lot and other fac tors he didn't feel that gutters would provide enough value to warrant the installation. I'll admit I was quite surprised. I know absolutultey nothing about this kind of thing and he could have easily said I should install full gutters as well as all the bells and whistles to go with them. Gary explained all the details as to how/why he came to that conclusion. I felt like I had learned a great deal after he was finished. He was also extremely friendly and very professional. I will most definitely keep his information in case circumstances change later and to recommend to others. You don't find folks like that very often sadly.

Gary was great! I would highly recommend him. He was able to take care of all the stuff I needed done. There were areas that the wood needed replaced and he was able to do that too. I am very happy with the quality of work and the thoroughness. The house looks great!

I had spent months trying to find a company that would do both guttering and fascia board repair, and give a competitive bid. All of them gave separate quotes for guttering and woodwork, or referred us to another source for wood repair. I finally joined Angie's List, and I chose The Gutter Brothers after Gary Vinson came out, walked our property with me, gave me options for partial, and total gutter removal/repairs. He got back to me within 2-3 days with the quotes, and was able to schedule us within two weeks. He and his associate had to work around the snow and ice, but were able to handle the fascia wood repairs, painting, and gutter installation with equal expertise, and wonderfull attention to detail at all the seams, downspouts, and installation of leaf screens. I wanted the leaf screens because we have so many big, beautiful trees, and we don't want to have to climb all over to clean the gutters any more. Gary was excellent to work with, and made several adjustments we asked for, as the project proceeded. My husband Paul, and I are thrilled with the results and will recommend his work to our best friends.

He did a fantastic job on our gutters. He gave me two choices: a mint new and a redo. The redo was to fix all of the gutters and then put a leaf guard on. I chose the more expensive: the ones with the leaf guard added. He knows that it's hard for me to get up on a ladder to do the work, so he gets up there and cleans it. He gives great service. I trust him.

There were some tricky parts and one other company didn't want to do it at all.

Gary was prompts with his appointment for the estimate. Work was done professionally and as scheduled. Game back the day they finished to review it with me. Very easy to work with and very good quality. Highly recommend the Gutter Brothers.

We had the Gutter Brothers, Gary, come and take a look at our gutters and give us an estimate on getting all new gutters and an estimate on just a cleaning and small repairs on the existing gutters. They were very prompt on returning calls and came out exactly when they said they would. After getting both estimates and opinions on what needed to be done we went with just the cleaning and small repair option hoping that would help fix problems for a few more years until we could do replace them all. I have waited until the first big rain to write this report because I wanted to see how they worked and I am happy to say, it was a success. The problem areas were fixed and everything was working great. Also, an important aspect from our standpoint was Gary did not try and push us to get all new gutters even though that would have been a lot more beneficial to them!! I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future when we need any future repairs or all new gutters.

I am very pleased with the Gutter Brothers. Gary Vinson responded to my call for an estimate and arrived on time. He submitted an estimate and left his color samples with me as he knew I was having my trim painted. He asked that the paint job be completed first before the gutter installation which was something my painting contractor did not know. He said that my home would be sealed properly if the exterior painting was done first. I am so glad I choose Gary and the Gutter Brothers. Gary and team were very professional and worked quickly. He is a perfectionist and came back the second day and redid an issue that he was not pleased with. He did not have to go the extra mile for me but he did and it did not effect his original price quote. He walked the job with me upon completion and explained how the placement of the downspouts and slant of my gutters were now designed to keep my windows from milldew and stain. He is very knowledgable and professional. I have already recommeded him to two of my close friends and am very pleased to offer my recommendation to my fellow Angie List's members. You cannot go wrong with this company or with Gary Vinson. I am pleased to give my business to a small businessman who really looks out for his customers.

Excellent experience overall. I took a long time deciding between Gutter Bros and another top rated company I foung on Angie's List. Gary was very prompt and patient in responding to my emails. I finally selected Gutter Bros because they add hidden hangers to existing gutters as part of the repairs. This was important to me since my research had indicated that hidden hangers are the way to go when in comes to securing gutters. The other company said they would not do that. Gray performed the job himself with an assistant. They were punctual and professional. They even did a couple of extra small repairs that came to my attention only after the work had started. They did not charge me anything extra for these. Gary is the owner and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. I have a preference for working with small owner operated businesses and I was not disappointed with Gutter Bros. P.S. I waited couple of months before submitting a report. I wanted to see how the gutters hold up in heavy rain. We got very heavy rains couple of weeks back and the gutters performed perfectly

Overall great experience. Gary finished the job on time and it looks great. We have had several Texas downpours since our gutters and gutter guards were installed and everything works perfectly. Gary was friendly, professional and prompt.

Gary came to my house on time and gave an estimate that was reasonable for the work we needed. He listened to our concerns and told us what he could do to make the gutters function better. He cleaned the gutters, chaulked and added fasteners, installed leaf guards and rerouted a downspout. After he finished, we noticed one area that needed to be fixed and he came by the next morning and fixed it. I appreciated that he did not require payment until the work was completed and we were satisfied.

Tried to contact Gary at the beginning of July to discuss receiving an estimate on gutter replacement. No answer on his phone, did not go to voice mail. Sent an email, no response. The following day I printed the email, tried to fax it numerous times with no success. Again, called the main phone number and got Gary, who explained the reason for the non communication was that they are a small business. We discussed him bidding on new gutters for my home, he said he would be out within the week. It has now been three weeks and I have heard nothing from him or his firm. I don't feel at this point I should contact The Gutter Brothers yet again to receive an estimate. I'm rating Gary's firm with a D instead of an F since I understand the inherent difficulties of running a small business (I own one, too), but unfortunately the lack of communication with potential clients is normally a red flag for future issues with product or service.

Gary spent a least a half-hour studying my problem. He never once tried to sell me on doing some work. I felt his honesty and integrity were beyond reproach. The net result was that he did not do anything and there was no charge for his call. I would definitely call him again should I ever need gutter work.

Gary arrived at the appointed time and solved our problem with one visit. I like doing business with a company owner. He was very professional with the solution to our problem and he didn't try to sell us other services we didn't need or want. I would use this company in the future without hesitation.

Excellent experience with an honest man. Gary was professional, he called and told me had made a mistake in his estimate, which made it lower, this was done without me complaining. He showed up when promised, did an excellent job and left the yard spotless, you would not know he had been there, except for the bright shiny new gutters. He also answered my questions patiently for what gutters would and would not do to address my drainage issue.
