Business owner offered multiple choices and he was experienced so thoroughly he carefully explained plusses and mines of each option. The installation process was made clear. Most importantly, the finished product was impeccable.

They were professional throughout the process. They took measurements during the initial sales visit and provided written quotes for a couple options a day later. After putting 50% down, installation was complete within 7 or 8 business days.

When we first started out to find a shower door company we thought this would be easy. But not so: The first one, Platinum Glass, stood us up for an appointment, lost our email correspondence and was generally unresponsive on more than one occasion. The second one, Barco, seemed uninterested in the job and their showroom rep was not knowledgeable at all. After contacting several more companies and not getting a good vibe, we contacted Shower Doors of Dallas. This was the beginning of a rather smooth and professional experience. Their representative, Chente Rea, arrived on time and was prepared for the appointment. He was able to show us actual pictures in both product catalogs and on his iPad. As strange as this sounds, this was the ONLY company that was able to do so. It is amazing how all the other companies could not show images and expected us to spend thousands of dollars sight unseen. Chente Rea promised us an estimate as well as 3-D project drawings for the same day - and he kept his word. Very impressive, and it gave us the feeling that here was a company that actually wanted our business and acted professionally. We accepted their proposal, put 50 % down and the install happened when they said it would and at the time they said. The doors were put in by a crew of 2 who worked efficiently and professionally. They also did a great job cleaning up afterwards. We even received a non-abrasive glass cleaner as well as a squeegee for each shower enclosure they had installed - nice touch! Lastly, when talking to one of the installers, he told me that Shower Doors of Dallas actually sells the old aluminum from jobs to a recycling company. The money from those sales goes into a joint piggy bank for their workers to buy lunch etc. I thought this was great: A) The aluminum does not end up in a landfill somewhere but is reused, and B) The owner of the company gives this money to his employees - makes for a better work climate and in the end their customers benefit from this as well because happier workers mean better quality of work. Very happy with the whole process and would definitely use them again.

Brandon came and measured openings, and gave me options for what would and would not work. Emailed estimate in 2 days. I accepted and 2 weeks later doors were installed. Professional installation and clean up.

Contacted this company after receiving numerous quotations and reading reviews on Angie's List. Made the call on 9-10. Very courteous response from receptionist / assistant. Installation team came out the next day 9-11 to do custom measurements. Showed up on time and clearly explained the process and showed me all the samples of products they offered and explained very clearly the terms of installation. Paid 50% down and 50% on completion of job to my satisfaction. Final install was done on 9-18 which was quick turn around and we are 100% satisfied with the work performed... Price was competitive, lower than most of the bids I received and can't imaging better quality and service for the money... I would surely use these folks again...

I am so very happy with my experience with Shower Doors of Dallas. I gutted and remodeled my bathroom myself and only had them do the glass walls and door of the shower. I got an estimate from them when I started the project in April of 2012. Unfortunately, it took me longer to get completed than I thought it would so I contacted them to update the estimate in March 2013. I had an updated estimate within a day. My appointment to get the final measurements was on time and very helpful as Brandon made a suggestion to change the design slightly that I found more appealing. Installation was fast and easy, arrived on time and completed quickly.

We worked directly wit the owner, Jason Gantenbein. He was very timely in his responses. Gave good advice on both the use of glass walls and some other aspects of the remodeling. I shopped the pricing and found Shower Doors to be very competitive. Mr. Gantenbein said what he would do and did exactly what he promised. Definitely recommend Shower Doors of Dallas.

I called for an appointment to get an estimate. They came out the next day, measured, talked to me about how the door would fit and what features it had. I received estimates from other companies, then called this company back to do the work because I felt confident after talking with the service person and knowing more from researching some on my own, that they would do a good job. The came out to install the door right at the predicted time and the door fit nicely and everything went smoothly. I liked how it looked. I'm pleased with the overall experience.

My experience with Shower Doors of Dallas was excellent. I first contacted them in September or October for an estimate. Their timing was flexible, and they came out on time as scheduled. They took measurements and gave me a diagram with estimates. They were very professional and polite, and they offered helpful suggestions with the estimate. Because I got married, I sort of put off the project. At the end of November, I called them up again. They were very polite, and over the phone, I was able to change the style (I requested a very minor change, and they were very pleasant about it). They emailed me with a new diagram, which looked great. They gave me a new quote right away, and I was very happy with the price. We scheduled an installation date, and they called me a few days before to confirm and remind me of the appointment. I appreciated the call. On the installation date, the installer called me 45 minutes before the appointment to let me know he was on his way. Two guys arrived on time, installed the shower doors, and did a great job. It looks awesome. I am very glad I chose Shower Doors of Dallas (recommended by the agent who sold us the house). They were great to work with. Whenever I called, there was always a polite employee on the other end of the phone. I spoke with Annette and Monica, and they were very helpful and responsive. Each time they came to my residence, they were on time and professional (one time for the estimate, one time for the installation). The pricing was very reasonable, and I'd gladly choose them again for frameless shower doors.

Employee came to measure and we selected handles, glass, and finish. Delivery was delayed a week by my vacation. Installers managed to complete the install without cracking any tile. No issues arose at all.

Brandon Dismore was meticulous in his assessment and explanation of the existing cultured marble structures and issues, removal of the existing glass and doors, and the cleanup and restoration work needed prior to installation of the new glass and doors. He recommended two other companies that specialize in bathroom cleanup and restoration. I used one of his recommendations and was extremely pleased with the work they performed. Brandon's measurements and notation of alignment issues of the existing structures was meticulous, and his explanation of exactly what would needed to be done...and possible issues were detailed and clear. The total price quoted was $2820. I received a 2nd quote from Fashion Glass & Mirror (who originally installed the shower enclosures when we built the house) for exactly the same work and specs. The FG&M quote was $4200...or $1400 more for exactly the same work and product. I gave SDoD the business and paid half down on a Friday. The glass and doors were ordered that day and received by SDoD the following Friday. SDoD called to setup installation the following Tuesday. The glass and shower doors were installed in both bathrooms in approximately 4 hours. The workmen arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and they left 2 bottles of glass cleaner and 2 very high quality squeegees to clean the glass. The workmanship was excellent and we have had zero issues with either shower. We absolutely love our new frameless shower enclosures and would recommend SDoD to anyone! Our experience could not have been better!!!

I met with the field manager for an estimate for a shower door. I had a specific need -- I needed glass that did not show the white shower tile behind the door. I ordered a rain pattern glass that was supposed to be obscure. Upon installation, the glass was fairly clear and did not work as promised. I called to voice my concern and the owner (Monica) got on the phone, listened to my concern, and immediately ordered another piece of glass. It was installed the next week and it does the job that I needed. Finally a company that stands behinds its work and its employees! Way to go. There is no risk in contracting with this company and I will not hesitate to use them again.

Seemed to be a very professional group. From initial visit when measurements were taken, to visit to showroom, through final install. The guys that did the install were very meticulous and detailed. Install went very quickly, aided in part I'm sure by accurate measurements being taken initially so that the final fit was very precise and square. The shower looks great and performs well. I would highly recommend this company.

They were prompt and did a wonderful job! They were able to finish right before we had family for Thanksgiving holiday which meant alot to me. Jason was particulary helpful.

Overall, it was a great experience and I love my new shower glass stall. The estimate was on time, informative and very detailed. The gentleman provided me different options to chose from. The installation crew was later than the scheduled time but they called ahead to tell me so I was ok. They did a great job.

I used them twice. They were dependable and they came when they were supposed to. They gave me options for services and prices for each option. They cut some mirrors for me that they didn't have to do. It was a nice thing that they did. I would give them 5 stars.

Brandon initially came out to evaluate the job and give us an estimate. We had just remodeled the bath and installed glass tile surrounding the tub on three sides and all the way to the ceiling. Our goal was to find a shower enclosure that would effectively keep the water in but give the highest and clearest visibility for the new glass tile. We had envisioned a shower screen that went from the shower wall to about the midpoint of the tub. Brandon expressed some concerns about the weight and pull on the glass tile that we had not considered. Ultimately, he gave us several different design options to choose from, with his thoughts on the pros and cons. We decided on the option that would cause the least stress on the glass tile - a sliding door + stationary panel design. This meant that we had to find the clearest possible glass to work with to give the best view of the glass tile. Brandon did some hunting and found the super clear glass with the protective coating built in in Alabama. It took awhile to get the glass to Dallas, but the wait was worth it. Brandon and his crew did a stellar job.
