+ 0 moreEverything in the rooms was completely draped and masked. The rooms were sealed off from the rest of the home with zippered drapes. Work began as scheduled and continued until the project was complete. Return for punch list items was done immediately. The stain was applied by brush using a special technique Robert has developed. We selected Robert because he had done similar work for us in another home a few years previously. He does beautiful work that transformed our living areas. We've received numerous compliments from friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Refinished all woodwork, including cabinets, china cabinet, built-in desk, built-in book shelves, crown molding, wet bar and wainscoting in our kitchen, breakfast area, butler's pantry and family room. Refinishing included three coats--sealing previous finish, new stain, final sealing. All drawer and cabinet pulls were removed, chemically refinished and reinstalled.
