 + -1 moreIt took 3 calls over a one month period to get him out to the house. After looking at the problem he said he could not fix it due to a parts shortage in this area and that he would get back to me when the part was available. After a month, I gave up and had another plumber do the job. Randy is a nice guy and has done good work in the past but he really let me down this time.

 + -1 moreRandy returned our initial call promptly, told us he could rearrange some other work so that he could respond the same day, and quoted us a price (I told him the size and type of water heater that was being replaced). The leaky water heater was in the garage so there was no damage in side the house and we had already cleaned up the water that leaked. Randy was on time, did the work, was fun to talk to in the process and did a very professional job. Randy has got to be one of the neatest / cleanest plumbers around -- far more so than other plumbers we've seen in the past.
Description of Work: Replaced a leaking gas hot water heater.

 + -1 moreRandy Lynn, the owner, has always been thoroughly professional in his demeanor and performance and extremely fair and honest in his pricing. He is my first choice for plumbing services of the type that he performs.
Description of Work: Installed an oversize sink and disposal in my kitchen. In the past he has repaired a plumbing leak serviving my front yard and one servicing my back yard. In addition he has installed a bathroom sink.

Description of Work: My kitchen sink had clogged up as well as my washing machine. Turned out that the clean-out (kitchen) needed to be "roto-rootered" as it was full of "gunk". I have never had to have this done since I purchased the house in December 2000. I've used Randy for other services including: installation of new kitchen faucet & garbage disposal; replacement of outside faucet; and replacement of hot water heater. I've been real happy with Preston Road Plumbing and highly recommend Randy. He's prompt, courteous, and knows his plumbing.

 + -1 moreThe job went perfectly. What I appreciated the most is that he told me what NOT to spend money on now in regard to the tile and floor because I will be remodeling. He also told to be sure to tell the contractor to remove all flooring up to the pipe, not the flange, when the floor comes up. He will come back then to reinstall, which will be worth it. He's professional, answers questions, and does the job right.
Description of Work: Randy installed two toilets for me. The bathrooms aren't remodeled yet but I couldn't wait until then to replace the old peach and powder blue 1957 toilets.

Description of Work: We have just joined Angie's List and this was the first service company that I wanted to be sure and comment on. We have used Preston Road Plumbing for at least 15-20 years - on our own home, our parents' home, as well as three rental properties. I cannot make enough positive statements about this company. They have resolved large plumbing issues, as well as small, in a responsive and quality manner. The price has always been very fair, and the work done as agreed upon and in the time required. I would always recommend Preston Road Plumbing - and ALWAYS do whenever anyone asked me "who do you use?".
