Metroplex Glass

I have had years experience with companies replacing windows. This is by far the best all around service I have had in over 20 years.

Prompt service, came out same day and did a great job replacing my shattered 6” x 8” window pane!

They replaced the broken window with Low ES, it looks great. Alex called ahead of time to confirm the time , they arrived as scheduled and work was completed in a short time. My wife and I plan to have more windows replaced.

Liked dealing with one person, Alex, for both the estimate and install. He made great suggestions, called ahead and showed up on time, very courteous and experienced. Had both a double pane glass cut and installed as well as solar screens. Very pleased and would use Metroplex Glas again.

We had three windows replaced with Metroplex glass. Alex responded quickly. He measured the next day and had my windows installed as soon as it stopped raining. The job was supervised well by Alex himself. The installers were professional. Overall excellent!

The contractor was very good with the work. However, he did not show up at the indicated time to complete the project. His helper did not show up until the last 30 minutes of the 3.0 hr job. The contractor could have created less of a problem with broken glass if he had removed the door and taken in off hinges and taken it to the patio prior to breaking the glass. The problem was the broken glass was every where. Some in the house and most of it on the patio. It all had to be cleaned up. Also a problem with cleaning up the glue and chalk on the glass.

Someone came immediately to give an estimate. I was quoted an amount, but did not receive a written estimate ( I did not pay anything ahead of time). I was told they could install by a certain date, but they never called to set up installation appt. Their phone message recorder did not work and I had to call many times before someone finally answered. I was told the glass had been ready for days and could be installed anytime. They installed late the day I called. When I paid for the bill, I was told a different amount than quoted. They had not included the tax in the original quote. Then I was told that if I used a credit card it would be 5% over and above that amount and if I paid cash, they would not charge tax.

There was great communication with the owner. My glass had to be specially cut, and he kept me updated with the status.
