Well, the job took longer than planned, had problems, and was not without frank discussions with Jeremy, the owner. In the end he personally took it on himself to ensure our satisfaction, thus the grade of B and the statement that I will use this company again. The majority of the problems we experienced were due to the crew that we received. It was a two man crew: one was motivated and cared about his work; the other acted as if he hated his job. The interaction between them caused tension, sloppy results, and stretched the job out. We were unhappy with the results but Jeremy personally came out and touched up / finished the job. The end result is a great looking floor. I would use the company again but I would be far less tolerant of crew issues next time.
Description of Work: One interior room, hallway, and closet totaling about 372 square feet. Step 1 was to diamond grind the floor to level it, remove imperfections, and expose the aggregate. Step 2 was to patch remaining cracks and voids and to build up ramps to tile edges in adjacent rooms. Step 3 was to polish the floor Step 4 was to dye the floor with a solvent-based penetrating dye. Step 5 was to buff the floor to a high gloss.

We live in a downtown Dallas loft where the developer was too cheap to have the floors (AND most everything else) done correctly, so our floors came with three layers of gray paint on them. We got quotes from other companies that were very overpriced and included services that were unnecessary. Floor Rescue, however, came in and did a great job for an unbeatable price. Jeremy came out and consulted with us to determine what we wanted and guided us through the process and we couldn't be happier with the results! They arrived and were working every day by 7:30 a.m. and usually worked until at least 6:00 p.m. They were very meticulous and careful to make sure everything was done to meet our expectations. I would strongly recommend Floor Rescue to anyone wanting to renovate concrete floors.
Description of Work: Restored and stained approximately 1100 square feet of interior concrete flooring. Stripped and ground multiple layers of paint off of existing concrete floors. Stained, waxed and polished concrete floors.
