They tried replacing parts and then tried to get the whole unit replaced under warranty. This was all while trying to sell me more addons and upgrades. They even suggested I just pay them to replace the water heater even though the one I have is only 3 years old. The manufacturer sent out their own rep to check their diagnosis and determined that is was not the water heater but the gas pressure regulator on the house failing. DPM plumbing then came back out and would not entertain replacing the regulator that was diagnosed as bad. They did none of their own testing and instead tried to sell me an appliance regulator. When I asked why I needed that if the one I had was working fine and they just insisted I need this. I have gone with a different company to resolve the issue.

Called via warranty service, was told they would call 30 minutes prior to arriving. They simply showed up, which means I could not ask the simple question that would have allowed me to cancel the call and not have to pay. They then proceeded to quote me $275 to replace a simple fixture that screws in and costs $35 retail.

We had some communication problems in the beginning but the owner ended up coming out and he was very professional.

Had called another plumber because the pilot would not stay lit on old water heater. They couldn't do anything right away, and were slow to get back to me. We called Dallas Plumbing Masters to get this resolved, and someone was at the door in an hour. We had 2 water heaters, so a temporary fix was done so we could get a hot shower from the tank that worked. The next day Dallas Plumbing Masters showed up as promised and replaced both old water heaters with a tank less heater. They explained everything, and did a great job. These guys make you feel like they have your best interest at heart, and I believe they do. They made sure everything was working correctly, and cleaned out the faucets where crud was trapped from the old system. Excellent Job!!!

I wanted a certain type of faucet and to turn it on and off a certain way, the plumber fixed something different. He re-ordered it and told them to replace it. I was supposed to pay extra money but he said no. I love the fact that he takes care of his customers. They have done work for me for the last 5 years. They do all my plumbing whether it is toilet or drains athat need to be fixed. They did two bathrooms, showers and bathtubs.

They made sure that they cleaned up after themselves and they re-caulked around the toilet. They hauled off the old one. It took them about an hour-and-a-half to complete the job.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a fine job. Everything turned out well. The interaction was good.

This went ok. He came out and did the plumbing inspection. He did say the water heater flush was pointless to have.

Phoned them on Friday afternoon (02/22/2013) and asked if they serviced my town of Farmers Branch, Tx. The lady that answered the phone stated yes they did. I then proceeded to explain that I was looking for an estimate on the installation of a 50 gal NG water heater. She stated they were running a special right now for $699 which included the water heater and installation. I then requested to schedule an estimate and she told me that she could schedule one for the following Monday (02/25/2013) but couldn't give me an exact time but if I wanted a more precise time frame she could schedule one between 1-5 on Tuesday (02/26/2013) . I told her I worked from home so anytime on Monday was OK. After I gave her my address and phone number she stated they would see me Monday between 9-5 and they would call be approximately 1 hour before they arrived. I never heard from them again and decide if this was the way they handled their business I didn't want them handling my plumbing. Will never use them. I used their competitor and couldn't be more pleased

Dagen plumbing was contacted on 12/12/12 and was informed they would call back to confirm date the plumber would be available. Did not receive a call back. Had to call the same day as well as the next day to determine when the service was to be performed. However the plumber did arrive at the finally scheduled time. Made two view holes in the master bedroom wall to determine place of leak. Kept water running in the shower and the leak was seen to be from the shower pan. Was given references for drying the base floor as well as sheet rock work and removal and repair of the leak.

We had some issues with plumbing when we moved into the house and so we used their services. My overall experience with them was excellent.

I had scheduled service on Friday for the following Tuesday for a 3-5pm time slot. When the day came, I took the time off from work to get home so I could be there when they showed up. At about 4:30pm, I thought it was strange that I hadn't heard anything, so I called their number to see what was going on. After another couple of calls over the next hour, the phone just went to voice mail, and I left a message for them to call me. The next day, I had not gotten a response to my voicemail by 10:30am and had to call them up again myself. The woman on the phone told me she had neglected to put me in the system for the dispatcher to come out and apologized and offered to reschedule. I might have taken her up on that, but since even my voicemail from the previous afternoon was not responded to in the morning, I didn't have enough trust at this point to schedule a new appointment.

The plumber appeared on time. He went into the attic, looked at the heaters, and told me that he could not flush them because they were electric and electric heaters don't need flushing. So, that was it. I paid for nothing. It would have been nice to know that electric heaters do not need flushing (if indeed that is the case) before purchasing the Big Deal.

As far as the plumber goes, Dustin, was as good as it gets regarding knowing how to do the work and explaining what he did and how it works. Dustin is extremely knowlegeable and trustworthy. There was a little bit to be desired in terms of clean-up, but the actual plumbing work was spot on. There is alot to be desired from the front office and ownership. I was told by one of the owners, Meghan, that Dagen Plumbing only installs AO Smith or Bradford White. That along with their $200 off coupon were the two initial reasons I choose Dagen after speaking with Dustin. Those ended up being two separate issues. After receiving my quote from the plumber I called the office to set up an install time. There was alot of confusion when I brought up the use of their coupons, which were advertised on their website and on Angie's LIst. I was told that I could not use a coupon on each install, but that I could use only one. That took another two phone calls and three days to get confirmation. Moreover, I was insured that AO Smith would be installed. When the install crew got here 90 minutes late on a Monday morning, I asked them if the boxed water heaters in the truck were AO Smith and they said yes. However, when the were installed the actual brand was State Select. By that time there was really nothing I could do. Before the install was completed and an overview provided, Meghan was calling me to complete payment. After the walk through was completed the technician pulled off a sticker from each hot water heater and said the company gets rebates from these because they use them so much. There was dust and debris around both installation sites and dirt left in one of the bathtubs because they did not clean it after draining one of old hot water heaters. There were cigarette butts left in driveway and some additional debris on our lawn. Additionally, it took me three more phone calls to the office to gain my paid invoice and receipt. What started out as a great opportunity ended up being a quite flaccid experience and left me a little disappointed on the service side of things. As previously stated, the plumbing work appears to be exceptional. I only wish it was the AO Smith brand that was promised to me three times.

I'm happy it is fixed. I'm happy the home warrenty paid for it. I feel confident it will hold for quite a while. I posted what I did on Tuesday because I was frustrated with the lack of communciation regarding when someone was going to be here. I gave them a 'B' for a job well done and getting the home warrenty to pay for it. I did not give them an 'A' due to scheduling and lack of communcation. Everyone has an off-day and I really think that is what happened to me on Tuesday. Reading the other reviews, I do not feel that is the norm for this company.

Everything turned out just fine, and there was no problem. They were just great; they were very thorough and were a big help. They did a very good job and cleaned up when they were done. I was quite of kind of disappointed with the price, it was so expensive, but they did a good job, so I can't really complain about it; I guess I was satisfied.

It did not seem that they knew how to do the unclogging. The first day they said they had to come back when the roof would be dry ( it was raining) to get on the roof to unclog the drain. Then when they came back they did not get on the roof. One of the sinks leaked after they installed the faucet and another guy came to check on his work and he missed the leak..Then they did not come back when they said they would. I work nites and sleep in the day so this was inconvienent for me.

It was a coupon. They seemed to know what they were doing and they were not trying to upsell me, which was nice. I have different toilets in the house that are tied to the main and they figured out all the different intricacies of each one. It was pretty good.

The repair job was done very nicely. They were really professional.

They did a very good job. There was one issue that came up and they came out right away to fix it. They educated me on what types of products should be used and why. They came out when the said they would be here.

As far as getting the permit and passing city inspection, everything went well. After the install, though, we had to go back and forth a bit with who is suppose to reconnect the gas line and actually test out if the install went okay. This is where the service break down a bit and gave me a bit of confidence concern. Yes, it passed city inspection, but I am not sure if I like how well the gas line was laid out in the attic. The installer chose the shortest distance, instead of staying away from the middle of the attic where I had plan on using it for storage. The closet where the water heater was installed needed ventilation for air flow, but the installer didn't do that until I reminded him. Then, he just cut a hole in the dry wall and stuck a register on it to look better. When the old water heater was removed, a hole from the crawl space was left there uncovered. Dagen installer told me that they do not perform dry wall work and left it like that. About 2 weeks later, the entire closet was covered in mold from the moist air coming up from the crawl space. My email wasn't returned until 3 weeks later. By then, I covered the hole and cleaned up the mold myself. I also needed to ask the installer to modify the drain line because it was just left to drain down into the crawl space. It is now a little over a year since the installation and I believe I am entitled to the first preventive maintenance for the tankless water heater, but I have not received any follow up from them. Overall, I had a good experience with David and his team. They had the best pricing, arrive on-time, and I know they can do an excellent job if supervised well. As a first-time home owner, I definitely feel I was lucky to have have Angie's list suggest a good team to work with.

They are honest and straightforward. I would recommend them.

Know the scope of your project, have project manager, get a contract in writting and check out the company thoroughly. Otherwise on a project of this scope you will be a statistic!
