Description of Work: I have used Dean's Plumbing twice within the last 4 months, both with clogs in the septic lines from our home and to repair a outdoor hose bib. We moved into a new home about four months ago and had some items come up that were covered under our home warranty (hence the $60 deductible charge). They were very timely, professional, and honest about what was going on. Even when the service person was running late due to unexpected problems with another customer, they called to let me know what was going on. They were not able to repair the hose bib because it was dark outside and we could not find the water cut off from the street (we live on a four acre lot). I was told that they would come back out to fix it, but have not heard anything yet (it was Friday night when they came out and its only Monday as I am writing this review so I am sure I will get a call here soon). Definitely will use them again even if it is not through our home warranty.

Description of Work: Recirculating hot water pipe under the foundation sprung a leak. On Sunday 11-29, Robert came to locate the leak. He mapped the recirculating pipes and proposed a solution. Monday, he and another technician isolated the leak and bypassed the leak using PEX (?) flexible pipe rated at 200psi. This is not a PVC type of pipe. They snaked it around through the walls and connected it on the other side of the leak. They had to make seven cuts in the wall board but we chose this option instead of drilling into the foundation and possibly compromising it. The solution was also less epensive. I was impressed with the professionalism of the employees and their neat, clean, pressed attire! I would definitely recommend Dean's plumbing to anyone.

+ -1 moreThis was an emergency repair, so scheduling a plumber to come out right away was difficult. Dean's plumbing was the first to respond. We thought the problem was the water valve and by phone they said that type of repair starts at about $450. Other plumbers were quoting $500 - 600. Ronnie came out and found out that it wasn't the valve. He investigated further and could tell that it was problem with the pipes on the edge of the slab. He called his brother and they discussed an estimate for slab leak repair. He quoted me a cost of $1250 and said they would really work to keep it within that. The next day, 2 men came out to perform the repair. It took them about 3 1/2 hours and they came in right on estimate. I scored them a B on professionalism because Ronnie appears to be very young so it's hard to believe he has enough experience to be a plumber that you can trust to make expensive repairs to your home. However, he ended up being correct on everything and everything worked out exactly as it was supposed to. So, don't get thrown off by this "kid".
Description of Work: We thought we had a problem with the water shut off valve in the front of our house. Ronnie came out and investigated and found that we had a leak in a pipe along the footer of our slab. He had to shut off our water and scheduled a team to come out the next day to drill into the slab, cut out the bad pipe, and install new pipe.
