+ -1 moreFirst, I could not add amount paid because Curb Appeal Woodcare was contracted by Cisco Fencing to complete the stain work for my new fence. It was bundled in the price of the fence. They applied a very nice stain to a 140 linear foot cedar fence. The fence is 8 feet tall with metal posts. The crew worked quickly, and took care to keep the stain off of my house and my neighbors property. I am very happy with the work performed.
Description of Work: Stained newly built 8 foot cedar fence.

+ 0 moreI did not choose them because I was an insurance case. The hail storm last October had pitted my fence. The fence itself looks very nice. They came back four times to fix the problems, but I never did get the owner to comment on his men spraying the neighbor's fence. The workers were very nice, but few of them spoke English. I wanted to talk to the owner face to face, but he was always too busy to come when I could be home. Don't use these people. There are a lot of good wood companies out there. Curb Appeal just isn't one of them,
Description of Work: Their work is sloppy. 1-On either side of the fence is 8-9 inches of stained grass. A piece of cardboard put down would have prevented this. I am going to have to clean up stain now. 2- They said that their priority was protecting my plants, but instead of pulling the wandering jew away from the fence, they sprayed right on top of the jew. I don't care about the jew,; it's easy to grow. But that meant they left a 2'x6' space on the fence at the bottom that did not get stained. What was worse , the stain dripped down the wood and looked awful . 3-They sprayed my neighbor's fence. Luckily, they didn't spray but a few slats of fence and my neighbor didn't care because it faces the alley. 4.I never picked out the color of the stain. Lucky for them, I liked the stain color. They squeezed me in. 1.They were always so busy doing other jobs, that they never came when they said they were. I can't remember how many times I waited for them to come and they never showed up because of another job. Plus their equipment was always broken or the truck was broken. Always some excuse. 2-They came at 6:30 at night to, according to the owner, "knock this job out". It was hard to see and they stained my fence as it was getting dark. 3.I told them repeatedly that I wanted to be here when they stained the fence and it never was convenient for them . According to the owner, they were too busy .

+ -1 moreI would not hesitate to recommend company. Work was done thoroughly and promptly, and price was reasonable.
Description of Work: Fence was cleaned and stained. I had experienced hail damage last Spring and Curb Appeal restored my fence. Jason, the owner, was very professional and courteous. Customer service was great and the job was completed within the time promised.
