Cabinet Inventions

Description of Work: I hired Cabinet Inventions for my kitchen and master bath. The job included refacing and refinishing some of the cabinets including replacing cabinet door fronts, replacing some cabinets and installing a new cabinet. Additionally, while contracting for this, they also said that they could replace the backsplash and bathroom tile as well. The cabinets looked good although part of them were made of plywood. They ordered the wrong door fronts and had several of them installed before I walked into the kitchen and realized it. In order to get the job done and not wait longer than I had already waited, I accepted the less appealing (cheaper) cabinet fronts. For the bathroom tile, they subcontracted to a company that they could not come to agreement with after some of the work was already done. They then hired a subcontractor that they had never worked with to do the work and he put the tile in crooked and with gaps. The tile had to be repurchased and the work done again. They had so many problems with this part of the job that they continued to say that they were losing money and needed to work on jobs that they were making a profit on first. Overall, if you took a picture of the master bath and kitchen, it now looks nice. I look at it, though, and see the low grade materials, the poor workmanship, and very disappointing experience and wish I had selected the other vendor that had a similar price, but couldn't start as quickly.

Description of Work: My kitchen cabinets needed refurbishing. They were originally stained and I wanted them painted.

Description of Work: We had our kitchen and family room cabinets restyled, refaced with new doors and hardware. Sarah and Casey were very pleasant and easy to work with. | They listened to what we wanted but also made some good suggestions. They were prompt and pRovided good follow-up when I called. Overall a very good experience!

Description of Work: Complete reface of cabinets and some additional cabinetry added.
