Description of Work: We had been told that parts were no longer available for our 1950's steel sliding doors, but the Door Doctor said "no problem". They showed up when they said they would and did a great job replacing the worn out rollers. The doors now work just as they were designed to work.

Description of Work: Removed sliding glass dors and replaced rollers, related hardware. Other door companies had told us that these doors were to old to get repair parts for and would require replacement. James located the required parts & replaced them. The doors work like new!

+ -1 moreThe doors had settled, and he tried to straighten them. When he changed the entrance hardware on the doors some of the screws didn't come out, and so now the doorknobs are still loose. He stopped when he was half way done. He changed the threshold and it fell apart.

+ -1 moreRichard was very friendly and professional. He arrived less than 2 hours after my trouble call. He analyzed the problem quickly. He had me get up on the ladder while he explained exactly what the problem was and showed me what was needed to do the repair. We're quite satisfied with his work.
Description of Work: Richard replaced the worn out gear assembly that drives the garage door opener. Also, inspected, adjusted and oiled the system. Took about 60 minutes to do the work. Had me test the door several times before he left. He cleaned up after he completed the installation.

+ -1 moreThe guy fixed the problem at considerably less cost than I thought it was going to be. He seemed very honest and worked very diligently. He showed me what and where the problem was and explained the suggested course of action.
Description of Work: My 15 feet by 8 feet garage door stopped rising. The contractor relaxed the tension in the coil and installed some new rollers. He did the job in about two hours.

+ -1 moreIt was a very positive experience. He spent at least an hour working on the door, and it went from a garage door able to be heard in ten counties, to one barely able to be heard. He also communicated well and came when he said he was going to.
Description of Work: The door was old and loud when operating. In addition to basic service, a very complete inspection was performed and several adjustments were made at no additional cost.
