I called them up on Angie’s List because they had a good rating on Angie’s List and they were reasonably quotes in the area. I didn’t sell a house. I didn’t buy a house. I didn’t ask for any other services. It was very minimal but he was quite helpful. I can say that. He answered my questions. He gave me the information I needed. I will consider them when the time comes to sell the home but that’s going to be at a minimum several months down the road. It’s a husband-wife team. There’s only two people. They were helpful, informative, professional and knowledgeable. They informed me about how the commission works and what percentage is. I left a message and he got back to me if not the same day certainly the next day, which is within what I expected.

We had spoken with two other Realtors before we met Chris and Holly at an open house. After meeting them, we knew we wanted to work with them. This husband/wife duo makes an excellent team and each bring their own strengths to the table. Selling: After looking at the house we were selling, Chris estimated that the market value was 10% more than anything we had previously heard. Though we were excited about this, we were also slightly skeptical, but he turned out to be right - and based on this alone he brought a lot of value to the table. Chris and Holly did an excellent job marketing our house in every aspect (excellent photos, MLS listing, listing on various websites, etc.). Chris’s ability to negotiate is uncanny – he isn’t afraid to push and has a great sense of what the market is willing to pay. He isn’t one to leave money on the table, and really looked out for us. He actually helped us negotiate that sell of our house twice, as the first people who signed a contract backed out at the very end of their option period. As disheartening as this was, Chris kept us focused and in the game – and we are certainly grateful for that! Buying: In my opinion, the single most important skill any salesperson can possess is the ability to listen to what the customer is really looking for – even when the customer doesn’t know exactly what they are looking for. Chris and Holly are exceptional at this. As we were initially interested in building a custom home, but had never done so in the past, they patiently walked us through this process until we decided that this wasn’t right for us. At the same time they were listening to what we were looking for; and when we decided we wanted to look at existing homes, they knew exactly what to show us. Holly is skillful in her ability to see the potential in a home and expressing it in a way the buyer can share in the vision. We could have been happy with anything we looked at (and we looked at many), yet Chris and Holly were always there to help us spot the things that might have been potentially frustrating over the long term. Also, Holly’s is great with kids (she has a teaching background), and she often helped entertain our 15-month old so we could really focus on what we were looking at. This was incredibly helpful! I’m fairly certain that when Chris and Holly found our new home, they knew it was the perfect home for us. Chris emailed the listing to me before it appeared on any of the major sites and followed up with a phone call to make sure we looked at it. We liked the house so much that the initial asking price seemed too low; and after looking at the house in person, we were even more in love with the place! Again, Chris’s market intuition and negotiating expertise were impeccable and he helped us to secure the home at a price were more than willing to pay! Closing: We can’t recommend Chris and Holly enough! Through the selling/buying process they acted as our Realtor, coach, counselor, and friends. They were professional and yet at the end it felt almost like were family. They made the whole process so enjoyable that we were almost sad when it was over, and look forward to doing business again in the future if the opportunity presents itself.
