Red Oak Overhead Doors

Beware of Michael Tucker of Red Oak Overhead Doors. He took my money, $700.00, and did not either replace or repair my garage door.

Our garage door spring broke on Sunday evening and the cord was off the rollers, so my car was trapped. I called around Monday and got a few prices from people on the list within 20miles since I prefer doing business with a local company if possible. Red Oak Overhead Door owner called me back immediately and gave me a price and said he was available to do the job the same day. He arrived promptly and installed two springs(door only had one) to balance the door. Very personable guy and the job went quickly. Also oiled the rollers and reset my keypad for me and made sure the door worked well before he left. So far I'm very pleased and will use him in the future. I also feel confident if there were to be a problem with the springs that he would come back and make it right.

It went terrible! Up until today we haven't seen our $1000.00 deposit. He took our money and nothing was heard or seen of him since that day! I am really surprised by the ratings this company has on here! I would not trust this company at all! I will get my money back one way or another. I am just appalled by the way this matter was handled. If you could not get the job done then speak up. Don't just take off with our money and not say a thing.

I called for service/repair on existing garage door. Michael came that same afternoon and made some repairs to existing door. His repairs did not fix the problem which was not surprising. The door was 20 years old and had been run into a couple of times. He gave me a quote which seemed reasonable to me. I have no concept of what this should cost. He arrived first thing the next morning, removed the old door, springs and track and replaced them with a beautiful , smoothly functioning new door. He cleaned up the area and was finished in less than two hours. I appreciated the fact that he put me at the top of his list and got it done. I am a happy customer.

He was called on Sunday afternoon with the idea of making an appointment for the following week. He suggested that he come right on out, did so and repaired the door in short order. He was prompt, courteous, competent and reasonably priced. I used him once before and had good success with them then.

Guy arrived at home and immediately started solving the problem. Within in 30 minutes or so he had me up and running, He then began noticing and correcting other small problems with my door. He made at least 3 adjustments that had nothing to do with the problem he was called out for.

I called and left a message and he got back to me shortly. He spent a minimum of three hours to do the job. I was so pleased with the work that I would call him again and recommend him highly.
