Carlos and his crew did a great Job while conducting the renovations of our kitchen. Also they finished a week early so that we could have our Annual 4th of July Party. Also all of our friends had great comments on how our new Kitchen looked!!!

I purchased the Real Deal through Angie's List. I was then contacted within a few days by the company and an appointment was made. Carlos (the owner) was on time for the initial appointment and every time thereafter. We met several times to select the needed materials and to plan the specifics for my project. He was extremely helpful. On demo day Luis and his helper covered my furniture with plastic and the floors with paper. The project went extremely well and my shower is just perfect!! Luis did a fantastic job!! The guys were on time each day, cleaned up prior to leaving and consulted with me frequently during the process. Carlos called the final day of the project to make sure I was completely satisfied and I was. The call was appreciated. I am extremely satisfied with my shower and would hire this company again in a heartbeat.

Excellent! Luis arrived a few minutes early, immediately got to work on the tasks I needed done. He was able to offer advice on larger projects that need to be done, explained what would fix some flooring issues I found when I bought the house. I found him to be very knowledgeable, capable and honest.

Initial consultation went very well. Carlos showed up on time and was very professional, insightful and helpful. Answered questions, was very approachable about our ideas. No high pressure bs like you get with some other contractors. Renderings of proposed layout very impressive and helpful for envisioning planned remodel.

It went very well, they were prompt, polite, and kept me informed on any changes or little things going on. Worked out very nicely and was very trustworthy, I even went to the grocery store while they were here because I felt so comfortable. The results are beautiful, I could not be happier.

They are working on it right now. They are probably in the 7th day of it. I had him completely taken down the popcorn ceiling, and redoing the ceilings in the whole house. To tell you the truth, I called and complained but I have nothing but praise for Carlos, who owns the company. He has been out checking on it. His people are very diligent. They are very clean. They are busy the whole time, the work is going on. I am nothing but tickled to death with him. They are doing the ceiling at the same time as the bathroom remodel. They basically scrap all the popcorn off, and go back to re-plaster all the seams and everything, to make it all smooth. After they get through they caulk it, texture it, and paint it. We have a lot of extras added in. We worked out a deal on it. They lay tarps down and plastic and tape everything the walls. Every evening, they take everything down, vaccuum, clean up sweep, whatever is necessary to make it look back to normal. They come back the next day and put it all back up again. It's excellent, it was a very good price. In fact I got a neighbor right down the street that wants to use them and do the same thing, and he's a carpenter. The quality was excellent. To be honest once they showed up to do the work and we got all the price problems worked out, I had no complaints with them.

About 8 month ago, we hired The Empire of Tile and Granite to remodel our kitchen. We were extremely pleased with the results and was eager to have them to come back to remodel our bathroom. They certainly did not disappoint us this time. Daniel is again the main man, with the help of Alexander, they transformed our bathroom from old ancient to new and modern. We are looking forward to have them come back to remodel another bathroom.

Agreed upon price of $4700. was jacked up to $9000. Classic bait & switch. Attempted to negotiate but not successful. Unfortunate situation. Luckily was able to get my deposit back from Angies list after some deliberation since the scheduled remodel was after refund date

The installers were kind, courteous, and professional. They did an absolute fantastic job and I couldn't be happier.

Carlos was a great help in selecting the stone & tile for the job. My wife selected an exotic (quartzite) stone that is notably difficult to work with, but Carlos' team of professionals were meticulous in every aspect of the work, and the result was a perfect finished product. Their attention to detail and quality work is exceptional. I most highly recommend the company to anyone.

We couldn't have wished for better. Carlos and his team were beyond professional. We had a small job once things are considered, however, these guys treated us like we were spending 100K. The communication was amazing as was the attention to detail. We plan on having Carlos and the team back to assist with paint as well as adding a bath in the near future. If it was possible to add a better rating we would. I strongly recommend them, they were on budget, on time and a pleasure to work with. A++++++ for sure.

Carlos and his crew were amazingly easy to work with, very affordable, courteous, and prompt. From the first day we met with him he was straightforward and professional. His guys were very accommodating and professional, even with 2 year olds running through the house and sometimes in their way. The finished product was beyond what we expected and beautiful. We will most certainly use Carlos again in the near future for other projects in our home! Thank you Carlos, Luis, and David for a positive experience!

Did great work. Would definitely hire again. Project had to be rescheduled several times due to weather. My only complaint would be that we asked them for a quote to do the rest of the house and were promised they would quote and send it. Never heard from them again.

Started and completed on time and did a great job. Loved how it turned out. Carlos and crew were professional, knowledgeable and always available. Addressed all concerns and handled change orders without issues. Even came out a week later for minor touch ups exposed be different lighting. They had the best price on removing the tile flooring in the entry, dining and living room and did a great job of it.

Fine... showed up on time and got the job done. Louis was very personable and knowledgeable. I would have them back.

Not sure if he is really in the business and I was glad I never paid a down payment.

I made the purchase through Angie's List and was contacted by the company to schedule the appointment. The day of the appointment, Luis was on time. He started the job but couldn't finish that day because the whole door needed to be replaced. He agreed to return the next day to complete the job. He also called later that day to make sure we purchased the needed materials to finish the job. Luis returned as scheduled and did a fantastic job. My door is beautiful. I had to pay for two additional hours because the whole door needed to be replaced but I am satisfied.

I was very happy with the work done. They arrived early, told me exactly what was needed, completed the job on time, and thoroughly cleaned the patio area where they had worked. I also was given info on how to treat the area when time came to repaint.

EXCELLENT. Carlos and his crew are absolutely fantastic at what they do. I used Empire of Tile and Granite as my general contractor for everything except septic. They provided contracting, concrete leveling, framing, drywall, electrical, flooring, plumbing, heating/air, custom granite countertops, walk-in shower, vanity, foam insulation, tankless water heater, roof repair, pocket door, island, banquette table built-in to the island, power hookup to power provider, built-in Murphy Bed and workstation / bookcases, gliding windows and other custom work as needed. They came in at budget and worked with me as various new issues popped up during construction. Carlos communicated with me at every step of the way so I always knew who was working when, and walked me through several visual inspections and made sure he understood what we wanted. When something came up, he would ask for direction and sometimes gave incredibly useful suggestions. We started with an all-metal building with a concrete foundation - that's all we had when this project began. We had a vision of a full one-bedroom apartment that could transform into a presentation space for 20+ people. By using a murphy bed and a hinge TV mount, we could do that transformation. They began framing after we landed on an initial design from a designer that Empire suggested. Since the building was just metal R-panels with screws, Carlos and his crew set about to plug any leaks and test to make sure no water got in. They had to work on that more than a couple of times, but once they were done, we could tell there was a solid seal. After framing, the electrical, air ducting and plumbing were put in carefully and expertly. Since the metal building was held up by thick metal girders, there were some changes needed to the design, which we went through easily. My workshop had a big attic fan on the side wall, so they removed that and we reused some of that hole to make a shower light window. Then came the A/C and heating unit and ducting. Great stuff, and powerful. The original workshop had a single-unit garage door, but we wanted to convert this into a french-door style patio door. They re-framed that up nicely. They also put in some special backing and support for the large TV mount. I took advantage of the bare open walls to put in some PVC conduit of my own for networking, HDMI and other cabling from one side of the room to the other. The tankless water heater was mounted in the garage next to the A/C unit. Very small, compact, and perfect for our space. We needed special electrical requirements for the tankless heater, and the electrician did this job perfectly. The Washer/Dryer connections, both plumbing and electrical, were put in, as were the connections for dishwasher, sink, fridge, microwave and oven. When the drywall was put in, we started to really see the transformation. There were walls! We had to take water from the main house, which was about 150' away. They located a decent large enough pipe to connect to (in the main house master bathroom) and trenched an underground pipe for the connection. They put in a shut-off valve on the main house side for easy control. They framed in the walk-in shower, complete with water protector, a built-in shelf. a step and the custom shower heads. With the drywall in and all electrical and plumbing completed, and with cutouts for faceplates, and the texture applied, they started the painting, which looked fantastic. Then came the cabinetry. They installed the island, full kitchen and the bathroom, all with matching custom cabinetry and granite countertops. They even used extra granite that we purchased for windowsills and shower entry, along with the counter next to the washer/dryer. They finished the shower tiling and backspash and it looked amazing! Next came the patio door, which replaced the former single-car rollup garage door. The new patio door had built-in mini-blinds and was mounted flush, nice and perfect. After that, the hard-wood flooring was installed with a special underlayment that helped prevent moisture and noise. The thermostat, exterior lighting, light switches, ceiling fan, light cans and trim was applied. Then came the ranch-style sink, faucet and other fixtures. They put down protective paper on the floor so it wouldn't get scratched up when the appliances were installed. This helped greatly. Then we started doing some walkthroughs - we noticed that the fridge water line wasn't in the right place, so they fixed that. The dishwasher outlet wasn't lined up, so they fixed that. Some of the flooring wasn't even, so they leveled it again. Every little thing (and there weren't many) was fixed if I didn't like it. After the appliances were installed, we received the custom furniture we ordered from Bedder Way. They make custom Murphy Beds with matching bookcases and workstation furniture. We selected a wood style and color that went with the kitchen cabinets and boy does it look nice. Carlos and his crew put together all this hardware and built it into the walls so that it looks natural. They had to do some custom work because the parts that we were shipped didn't quite fit right with the crown molding and the baseboards, but Carlos' crew made light work of it with their miter saw and skill. Then the other furniture arrived - couch, dining table, upholstery for the banquette seating bench, and it really came together. They added the chandelier for the table and VOILA, we have our perfect guest house and presentation room. I'm really glad Carlos helped me put in the surround sound speaker wires, wireless access point cabling, and stereo/video cabling because trying to fish this stuff through metal girders wouldn't have been an option. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself. Carlos and his team does a GREAT job! They removed all debris from the job site and were fantastic to work with. We're having them come back in the spring and do exterior painting of the building. I absolutely recommend Empire of Tile and Granite for all your remodeling and construction needs.

on time, professional, I thought he listened to the problems, but only got drawings w/leveled island, fireplace & furdowns removed, no cabinets added?? No flooring on plans, no descriptions on plans either. Defeated the entire purpose of the visit. If they can't hear me with specific plans...they will never contract any work on my home!
