David has painted for us before. He is the ultimate professional! Shows up on time, does superb work, cleans up afterwards, and takes responsibility for moving furniture and blinds and then putts everything back in place when finished. He is very personable and honest. I wouldn’t hire anyone else!

I would like to share our experience with David’s work. For the second time, David has painted the exterior of our home and as before, did and excellent job. David Brandes was phenomenal from the first contact. I had experienced a hard time finding a professional for the wallpaper removal job, but then I came across Brandes and am so glad I did. He contacted me within minutes of submitting my request, after hours on a Friday. He came out the next day, arrived on time, quoted a very fair price, and did the job immediately. He is pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. So glad to now have a go-to, reliable painter for all of our needs, we wouldn't use anyone else! Thanks so much, David, for a job well done!

He’s a know it all you can’t even reason with this man. i’m a good paneer I just don’t have time. Even his wife said he’s an over perfectionist which would be great however I had already bought the paint for my doors. I even agreed to him using the paint he wanted on the woodwork because it’s the same paint in my living room. But on my doors I wanted Behr marquis paint that I had used before and it never chipped he wanted to use Sherman Williams paint that is currently on the doors and it’s chipped. He didn’t like it and wanted me to buy more paint and just argued with me. He also didn’t like the color that I wanted to paint my doors. I even suggested that he not paint the doors and I’ll do them myself. He began to talk down to me and I corrected him and he stormed out like a child! And didn’t do the job I’m so glad I found out who he was before he started!

David, Is the finest painting contractor I have dealt with in my 30+ years of home ownership. He has incredible attention to detail, very accurate work and a can-do attitude. I will have him work on my hones in the future,

We had David come to our home for interior painting several years ago and the rest is history! David is a true professional; the quality of his workmanship is second to none and he takes great pride in his work and is a true perfectionist! David painted our master bedroom and bath, including all woodwork and doors. As usual, his work is absolutely beautiful and I can't stop looking at the windowsills. They are like glass! David is a great guy and always goes above and beyond what is required. We cannot say enough about him personally and he truly has a gift for painting. We have never considered having anyone else paint in our home. We consider him a great friend!!

It went very well. The job required 4 days of work. The rooms look great. David charged by the day, and we paid for the paint and supplies. (David had previously painted other rooms for us, and we were very pleased with those also.)

I hired Mr Brandes for a large job which included walls, ceiling and cabinetry. With a job of this magnitude there were a few bumps. But David persisted and delivered at the highest level of quality. In David you will find a man of highest integrity, a great sense of humor and above all an immense pride in his work. He epitomizes the old fashioned skilled painter who takes pride in his work and do his best on the job. So much so that I have hired him again to paint cabinetry at another location I recommend him without any reservations and you will not go wrong with him

Hi there. I actually want to revoke my earlier comments regarding Brandes Paint and Wallpapering. After my initial enthusiasm about his work, it was 4 months later that the Lincrusta Wallpaper severed from the wall. I was devastated. This was a $5000,- accent wall and I was faced with taking that loss and an angry customer. I don't want to leave a bad comment but I ask Angie's list to remove all my positive comments I left. Services were never performed. David and I played phone tag to schedule, which was fine, I understand people are busy. We discussed the job to be done, scheduling, what would be needed and arranged for a day a week and a half in advance. David then called me the next day having not remembered that we had spoken the day before and already scheduled. Again, it was fine as long as he confirmed that we were good to go for the upcoming two day job. He did. He confirmed with me yesterday that we were all set. Then an hour before he was due to arrive, he texted to say he was unable to make it. I asked why and when a reschedule would happen and he did not respond. I would go to someone else who is more reliable.

Excellent work from a wonderful man. I would highly recommend Mr. Brandes to anyone who needs to get their interior painting done. He does excellent work and is a pleasure to work with.

David Brandes stays very busy and for good reason. His pricing is great/fair, and he does good work. Be sure you communicate clearly what you want done, and he will be happy to do whatever you need. Making a punch list would probably be helpful if you are doing touch up painting like we were. He is a likeable guy, easy to talk to, and genuinely wants to do a good job. Is he going to be selected to paint the Sistine Chapel ceiling? Probably not. But, if you want good, straightforward painting at a reasonable price, he's your guy. :>)

Once again David Brandes delivered and outstanding service on this project. The ceiling was a bear to fix and he made it look brand new. The walls and trim and cabinets look impeccable, This is the hardest working man I know who prides himself by delivering on a top quality product each and every time. THANK YOU again David Brandes for coming to the rescue on this project again !
