+ -1 moreWe highly recommend this company. We are new to Bonham Tx. Our compressor went out on our AC unit. We had 2 other companies come out and did not feel comfortable with either of them. We then contacted Blain Service Co. and Steve, the owner, came out and quickly accessed the situation. Steve was very professional and did not try to hard sell us into joining a "club" to get lower pricing. He proved himself to be a man of integrity and was very fair with us. The office, service, and tech staff did an amazing job of communicating with us. They had us up and running the following day and at a fair price. They will get all of our future business.
Description of Work: Replaced Compressor on AC unit.

+ -1 moreGreat. The same tech works my area of Bonham, he shows up on time, does the work as quick as possible with no BS. Blain has been to my house 6 or 7 times since June 2011, they have checked my electrical twice and fixed my motel style AC 5 or 6 times. They do great work and do not charge an arm and a leg. I would recommend then to everyone.
Description of Work: Cleaned out the front, checked the coil, checked the sensors.

+ -1 moreWork was performed to our satisfaction in a timely and expected cost range manner. The telephone response team were especially cordial & professional. The tech was polite, punctual, & took time to explain what he was doing.
Description of Work: Our air conditioner quit cooling (was blowing hot air) during the hottest time of the year in August of 2014. Then in September 2014 our smaller upstairs unit failed completely. We called Blaine Services both times. First time was based on a local friend's recommendation & second time on our previous first hand experience. Blaine Services returned our call with a time of arrival for a technician to diagnose & hopefully fix our problem. This happened on two occasions with two different units and two different problems. Each time the tech arrived promptly the same business day we received call back response from Blaine Services. He spent on average about 1 hour diagnosing the problems and had parts ready on his truck. Only small parts needed replacement.

+ -1 moreI called around 10:30am when temps outside were already in the 90s. The technician came out three hours later (this was the only company that could make it out the same day - all others had 1-2 day backlog). He quickly diagnosed the problem, pulled the part from inventory he keeps in the truck and repaired my AC unit within 15 minutes. He thoroughly checked both inside and outside units for any other issues. He was extremely honest and professional and I've saved the company's contact number to use in the future.
Description of Work: answered service call for non-cooling AC. Replaced connector and checked entire unit for other issues.

Description of Work: Get an estimate and discription of scope of work to be performed in WRITING! This company will take advantage of you in every way they can. A verbal estimate means nothing to them and the owner will be verbally abusive if you don't pay in full even if the bill is double what the estimate was. The technician is not as skilled and knowledgeable as he brags about being and he looked for every opportunity to add time to the clock. We were warned by a previous client of this company that they are prone to overcharge. I wish I had listened! The estimate was $400.00 and the actual bill was over $1000. The owner also REFUSED to itemize the bill claiming he didn't have to and that , quote, "for tax purposes I don't itemize" "I am not selling anything so I can call it "service"., end quote.

+ -1 moreBlain Service Company responded to our very urgent need by getting to the house the same day as we called. In fact, I called about noon, and they were able to respond that afternoon. They fixed the problem very quickly. This is not the first time I've used Blain Service Company, they also serviced the heat pump unit outside about a month previous to this. They discovered that a new motor was needed during a service call, and were able to provide it quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this company to others. I plan on using them for any heating or a/c problem I have in the future.
Description of Work: Our tenant discovered a leak coming from the a/c unit that was affecting the carpet. Evidently there was something wrong with the drain pan. Blain Service Company came out and serviced the problem.
