Glen Stubblefield Cycle

Description of Work: Stubblefields picked up my riding mower on 6/4/12 for repairs. I ask that they call me with an estimate to repair the mower. After my numerous calls inquiring about the mower, they finally gave me an estimate of $400. to fix it. I called them about 2 times a week asking the progress of the repairs and found that after 3 weeks, they hadn't ever started the repairs, even though they had promised each time that I called, they would get started on it right away. At the beginning of the 4th week, my daughter called and told them to just forget fixing it and she would come pick it up. They told her that they would put all the parts in a box and she could come and get it if she wanted to. With each call prior to this, nothing had been done on it. She didn't want a box of parts (if that was the truth) so agreed for them to fix it if they could get on it immediately. On 7/6/12, a little over 1 month after picking it up, they returned the mower to me with a charge of $534.46. When I questioned that this was more than their $400. estimated, he said "we came close" to the estimate. I don't consider $134. more than the estimate close. I was, also, informed that it needed a new gear box when he brought it home after repairs were completed. Stubblefields Cycle has very POOR customer service & communication, they are rude & show absolutely no caring or concern, and they do not stand by their word or promises!
