Texas Home Finders - The Robinson Team

We were referred to The Robinson Team by several people on a DFW message board. They came with very high praise, and they lived up to our expectations with ease. After talking to Cody by phone, we set up a time for him to come visit with us at our home. He spent 2 hours with us on that first visit discussing our needs, looking at the house that we were planning to sell, explaining how the entire process would work, etc. Before that meeting, he actually did a walk-through on a couple of nearby homes that would be our competition in the selling process, so that he would have a good feel for what the competition had to offer and how they were priced. I remember him telling us that day that we didn't need to sign any type of agreement with them, and that they were working for us and if we ever felt that they weren't doing a good job, that we should fire them and find someone else. I highly doubt that has ever happened for them, as they are excellent and provide top-notch service. They provided us with a 'polish list' within a couple days, where they explained in detail all the suggestions they had for the home we would be selling (for example, things like what to remove from each room to make it feel more open, what decorations to remove or keep, what repairs or retouching or painting to do, a checklist for what to do before showings, etc.). This was awesome and helped immensely with preparing our home to be on the market. They asked us what we could or could not do from the list (the goal is to do it all if possible), and what our expected timeframe was to get it completed. After we finished the polish list, they set up photos with a professional photographer, and then our home was on the market basically the next day or two. The photos looked amazing, the listing was extremely professional (great photos, great descriptions, etc. go a LONG way to getting showing requests), we had our own website for the property, were listed on all the major real estate websites, had great looking brochures prepared, etc. Within the first 3-5 days on the market, we had about 10 showings, and we received 2 offers on our home on the same day. Cody and Teresa are excellent at working to get the best deal possible, and we were under contract for asking price within a week of being on the market. For the buying process, it was the same great experience. We went looking at homes that first week when we were on the market, so we had a home in mind already when our house went under contract. Cody was great throughout this process. Had all the imaginable info on each property we visited and provided us with honest feedback and thoughts on each home. They continued working closely with us right up through the closings. Answered all our questions very promptly and made us feel comfortable with the process the entire time. In summary, Cody and Teresa with The Robinson Team made our home selling and buying process the best you could ever hope for. I will be referring all our friends and family to them without reservation. They're excellent.
