Prosper Air

Called at 3:30 on a Friday. Technician arrived by 6:30 that evening, diagnosised the problem quickly and had the AC cooling again within 20 minutes. Will definitely use them again.

Called in the morning (5/30/2018), appointment was set up. Both Justin and Tabitha Alsdurf showed up that same afternoon. The HVAC system was checked and cleaned, and topped off with 2.5 lbs. of coolant. The A/C is running way cooler, and inside temps are manageable now.

We have an annual service with them. They are responsive and honest.

I called at 7pm and by 9pm Josh had come to the house and started work on the ac unit. In about 30 minutes the cool air was flowing again. Josh was friendly, informative and professional. Prosper Air will be my first call from here on out for HVAC issues.

Went great, Josh the technician was fantastic. Very personable, polite and professional. I had an idea of what the issue was and he confirmed suspicions. He went to work fast and had the replacement parts on his truck. After he changed out the bad capacitor, he tested and verified I was good to go. The price was very fair and he was on site within an hour after calling them. Fantastic service, will be doing business with them again for sure.

A/C stopped working late in the day with outside temps almost in the 100's. Prosper Air was called (second time I used them). They (Justin the owner) was at my house, after hours, with the proper parts in his truck and fixed me up quick! I called Prosper Air because they helped us out before and Josh, their tech, couldn't have been more friendlier or professional. This is a small but amazing company. Exceeds expectations. Arrived on my doorstep 1 minute early, 1:29 for a 1:30 PM appointment on a Saturday no less. A very nice family. Justin and Tabitha arrived and worked as a team, to diagnose the issue in an efficient manner. It was a typical Dallas hot August Saturday, and they worked very hard to get after the issue and diagnose the problem. I carry an annual maintenance contract with Prosper Air, where they come out 2x per year for preventative maintenance. I highly recommend this company. They are locally owned and do a great job.

Justin had been servicing my system and while I had a few breakdowns on my 14 year old unit, it was never expensive to repair (although it may have been with someone else!) as he always was fast and super fair. He didn't push me to buy a new unit, in fact he thought mine could go another year or two. But I decided to go ahead an replace it. They quoted a really good price and were able to do it early in the morning before the store opened so we didn't have any issues. It has been a few months and everything is still perfect. They are just a wonderful, honest couple to work with and I highly recommend them for home or commercial units!

They quoted a price at the initial meeting and did not alter from the price. Work went smoothly and the unit functions properly with no leakage. During the job all of my questions were answered directly and clearly. I hired them to provide regular maintenance to the units in the house.

The first time I met Prosper Air was during the sale of my home. One of my inspection requirements for sale was for an A/C inspection of which they provided. They did some minor tooling of the system, inspected it fully, and charged me only for the trip charge. The next year I was forced to use my home warranty (that came with the house purchase) and the moment that ran out I called Prosper Air for my next issues. They were able to let me know my issues (that I caused on my own,) sell me inexpensive air filters that were a ton cheaper than Home Depot, and do servicing on one of my units that had it running perfectly in short order. This team is extremely professional, they will never price gauge you or recommend changes to your system that aren't needed, and always be communicative about when they'll be to your home. I'm happy that I've finally found an A/C servicer that is trustworthy. I recommend them to anyone in the area.

I have been using them for a number of years and they are good. I use them regularly for service on my air conditioner. The price is for a twice annual check-up. They are honest and trustworthy people. It's good value for the cost. I will use them again and we don't have any complaints.

I have the yearly maintenance contract. I would rate them the highest. They are very friendly and punctual. Their prices are really reasonable compared to the rest the providers. I would definitely recommend them. I would use no one but them in the future.

It was great. They were very professional. They fixed the issue. Scheduling was pretty easy. They were responsive and came out the next day after we called. The price is reasonable.

Prosper Air offered us options, complete replacement of the condenser or try out sealant that may or may not last. I opted for the sealant that has been working for the last 8 months. Really money-saver from Prosper Air. I highly recommend them.

It very well. They came the same day that I contacted them. They were friendly and efficient. He took the time to answer all our questions and explain what he did and how the system worked. They were reasonably priced.

I called because my heating thermostat stopped working. I had tried to replace it myself but found the heater was still not turning on. Tried troubleshooting and that didn't work either. I called Prosper Air and they were able to come within the hour. I really wasn't sure I could get anyone out, the temp was in the low 20's and the roads were getting bad. They were very nice and helpful and thankfully were able to get the heater running in no time. I would use them again in the future.

My a/c stopped working at my retail store. I had someone come out and they said I will need a new system (big surprise) but that they could sort of repair it with a new motor, but that the heater would not work. Huh? I knew I needed more opinions. I called Prosper Air and they were able to come out the next morning. It was Nov. so it wasn't an emergency...pretty cool out. Anyway they quoted me the motor repair but said everything would work fine after they were done and that I sure didn't need a new system. But once he got up there he found out the motor was fine and just needed a new mount...it had broken. So my bill was a couple hundred less than I agreed to! That is real honesty that is hard to find. You know who I am going to call when I have any more problems at home or at the shop. Really sweet couple as well! Give them a call.

This is the second time I was using the services of prosper air. Justin had earlier worked on one of AC unit to replace a coil. While all others were trying to oversell me a whole unit, Justin recommended that I just get a coil changed. He explained the issue to me, gave me a few options to choose from and then got it done. Their work is very professional and their communication skills are better.

Did a nice job of bring an older house up to code for lighting, wiring and circuit breakers. Were on time and performed a all services I need to close on a house sale. Provided friendly and professional service at a reasonable price.

I have a rather complicated AC unit, and Justin at Prosper Air was the right man for the job. He is a true expert, and his price can't be beaten.

We have been extremely pleased with our bi-annual service by Prosper Air in our first year of using them. (We roll over into a 2nd year contract in May 2013, which we certainly plan to renew with them. The first time in the fall when they were out, my wife asked Justin to look at our gas fireplace since we couldn't seem to figure out how it works and how to get it going. This certainly was not in scope of our annual HVAC service, but he spent at least 30 minutes looking at it and troubleshooting it, and was able to get it up and running for us at no extra charge. The second time in the spring, I asked him to look at one of our rooms that was either too cold in winter, or too hot in summer. The prior HVAC company we used, said that there was nothing they could do to fix that issue, other than install a larger HVAC unit which would cost several thousand dollars. Justin took the time to examine the set-up, and adjusted vents and dampers up in the attic. It made an immediate difference and improvement. He also offered to come back at no charge, as part of our contract, to make further adjustments if that room still wasn't where we wanted it in terms of air flow and temperature. In short, we found exactly what we were looking for. A great value, personal service and strong expertise, and a company interested in exceeding customer expectations. We recommend Justin and Prosper Air.

Our insurance company included a and quot;comb outand quot; of the vents on our outside AC unit due to hail damage. Their original quote did not include a replacement of the unit. Justin from Prosper Air came out to do the service according to the insurance company's assessment. Once Justin evaluated the unit, he determined that it was too badly damaged to comb out. The insurance company sent a second adjustor out to meet with Justin and he showed the adjustor why the unit could not be repaired. The insurance company agreed with his assessment and paid to replace the unit. Justin was very helpful and responsive to all our questions about the new unit. He did a great job.

They were very prompt. They came when they said they would. Their prices and quality of work were excellent.
