The last (third) move was a nightmare. My move was scheduled weeks in advance, we had a commitment and the company called me several times to confirm details. A few days before the move, after we were packed and ready to go, they called and cancelled at the last minute. First they said they didn't have the right equipment. Why couldn't they be up front and honest, and tell me that from the beginning? When I challenged them on that excuse, they came back with another excuse: they had someone else booked and would not be able to do my move. Why couldn't they reschedule someone? I had a firm commitment from this company. Bottom line: they do not keep their commitments and they are not a reputable business. I had to scramble at the last minute and find another mover. And during the time they said they were "booked"? Their truck and trailer were parked at their facility--not being used--during the time that they were supposedly "booked" and could not perform the services they promised. I recommend avoiding this company altogether.

A "Sharp" Moving saved my move! They were wonderful! Let me explain... I had hired another moving company to pack and move me. They packed approximately 6 boxes and I figured out real quick that I needed to find a different company and quick! I called A "Sharp" Moving and luckily I was able to hire them and fire the other company. The owner met with me that same day at my house and gave me an estimate and we agreed to the price and they were able to start the job the next day. They were really good at packing and moving! They brought the right materials for packing (the other company didn't even bring the right boxes). They showed up 15 minutes early and got right to work. It was a long day of moving and packing but they never slowed down or quit working. They were worth every dollar! They put my belongings in storage and I will be hiring them to move my things out of storage once my new home is ready.

They were a great group of people and did a great job! They have a A+ rating on the BBB but I noticed when logging on to your site their rating from 2011 is not that good. Just wanted to let the consumer's know that when checking out licensed moving companies in Grayson County they were one of two I saw listed. These people know what they are doing! They wrapped all of our furniture and wrapped it in plastic wrap before taking it out of our house. When they delivered it they brought it in wrapped and then set everything up for us. My husband and I have moved approx 15 times and this is the best service we have ever received from a moving company! We were so IMPRESSED! They were very polite, courteous, and hard working men. I must also say that the lady that answers the phone was also very knowledgeable about the moving process and very polite. We had to change our moving date due to closing issues and she was really nice and helpful being that we had to change at the last minute. I was telling some of our friends about who we used to move us and ironically they had used Sharp moving also and they also had a great moving experience. They moved in January of this year. Anyway I hope this review is helpful to people looking for a mover! We give Sharp Moving an A++++ all day long!

For one thing, they didn't use a moving van. It looked like they were using large horse trailers that they crammed everything in there. The people working there did not seem to care. They were supposed to get stuff from the attic, and I had to remind them to get everything from up there. They damaged at least 75% of all of my belongings in the move. There is no way in the world I would ever use them to move me across the street. I should have paid more money to get a more reputable company to move my belongings. I cannot think of anything positive to say about this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They did a terrible job. They broke and stole some of my belongings. It was a bad bad move all the way around.

We were moving from one apartment to a larger unit in the same complex. We called them on short notice to move the large items and very heavy boxes. Shelley was very nice and gave me a time that worked for both of us. The men arrived in a timely manner and introduced themselves. We did a walk through to show them what to take and not take. They worked very quickly and had the things loaded in no time. We drove down the hill to the new place and they unloaded as quickly. They took one break to get a drink but stayed in constant motion otherwise. We have noticed no damage or broken items. They set up the beds and w/d. We were shocked they were done so quickly. We've used movers in other states maybe 10 times and no one even came close. They were young and casual but very polite. They even tolerated my annoying dog---and me. We plan another move in the future and will call them first.
