Let me start by saying i do not usually leave negative comments on contractors, but this one was noteworthy. The quality of the work was shoddy and unprofessional, a lot of shortcuts were made in the trimwork and doors were hung without shimming or weatherstripping. The outside of the house was painted and you could see where it is really thin and where he started and stopped. The entire house will need a second coat and they said they are not going to fix it. Trimwork needed to be removed to install the flooring and was found to be shimmed and not nailed correctly. We will need to hire another contractor to repair their mistakes as the homebuilder paid them and we do not want them back on the property. The closet shelves were done right, thats about all. I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after repeated attempts at getting it right, just failed. I hope they sort out their problems. They used to be a reputable contractor from what the homebuilder tells me.
