JIM WILLIAMS CO

6 months into the job we were almost $30,000 over budget. Promises were made and not kept. My existing driveway was damaged in 8 different areas. Jim Williams promised to repair them and never did. His concrete trucks broke the concrete driveway during initial concrete pour. The finish on the concrete was so bad that my flooring company spent an extra day and more $ just getting the floor level enough where they could install flooring. Almost one year into the build after contract was signed the sheetrock still had not been installed. I fired Jim Williams and finished the house myself. When I relieved him of his commitment , I said I would do so only if he would repair my driveway to my satisfaction. He signed this statement in front of his own notary. His word is worth no more than the piece of paper on which he made his promise. Thanks Jim Williams for a life lesson I will not soon forget!

I highly recommend Jim and his "outstanding" team. Other than the garage construction, they also fixed our kitchen window that had been leaking for more than 5 years and upgraded my boathouse. His team is friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. I can't say enough about Jim Williams Construction. I am so impressed with his work that I have asked them to come back and rebuild my outside deck and front porch this summer. He is a true professional. He gets the job done well and on time.

I took the house plan I had drawn on graph paper to Jim, plus some photos of details that I liked. We discussed it thoroughly, he answered all my questions, and he said he would build me a great house. We shook hands on it, and he came through perfectly! Construction started in February, and I moved into my dream house in July. Many of the chaps on his crews have worked for Jim for years, so he's a good employer, as well as a great builder.

This was very good company and they showed great workmanship. I was very pleased with the outcome of the job. Everything was done right. Jim was on time and well prepared. We talked for a while and come to find that he knows a few people I do. (I thought that was neat)! I referred Jim's company to several others and they liked him as well.
