The contractor promised to finish in 3 days. It took more than 3 weeks. He kept showing up late at night at our door demanding payment for work he had not done. I cannot find one thing he did correctly. The ceramic tile floor is anything but level. It has waves similar to the ocean. The foundation is not repaired. The new sheet rock walls are inadequately installed without enough studs. He put only one electrical outlet in the room. We asked for outlets on every wall. The plumbing on the water heater had to be redone by another plumber. He had an excuse for everything from not showing up because he had other jobs to reasons he could not make the floor level and his lack of knowledge for installing sheet rock, This experience was a total nightmare. Even though I feel we overpaid this contractor he kept returning demanding more money for work not done. He even called the police to claim we had not paid him. I had to order him off my property and instruct him never to contact me again except through my attorney.
