Village Green

Village Green proactively contacted me to schedule service shortly after I purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal". They were very professional, arrived on time, and aerated the lawn, careful to miss the marked sprinkler heads. All communication was professional and they did a good job on the aeration.

Heads were marked with flags, once done they picked up all the flags and left them at the door step which was nice of them. Showed up on time. Was fast and easy to work with. Payment was easy using online website.

My lawn was in poor shape last summer - overgrowing with weeds, chocking out the grass. Village Green started regular treatments to bring the weeds under control and fertilize the grass. The lawn responded very well. This Spring, after the harsh Winter and hard freezes, the lawn had several dead patches, and through their regular treatments, the lawn is again looking very good with the dead patches almost completely filled in. I'm very happy with the results.

It was fine. They were prompt. They had a deal on Angie's List, so that's why I used them. It was just the $59 big deal.

They came while we were away. We kind of wish we had been home, but they didn't call ahead to say when they would be there. That was the reason for the "Good" rating on punctuality. We will probably call them again to continue treating our lawn.

Purchased the Angies list deal for this service. Company contacted me the next business day after purchasing to set up appointment time for service. Everything went great , I will consider suing their services again in the future.

I was happy with the service. I called and they could not find the coupon and so I was going to call Angie’s List for a refund. They called an hour later to let me know that they had found the coupon and they apologized. The guy that came was very polite and pleasant to work with.

I have dealt with Village Green in the past and have always been satisfied with their services. I guess that is because I never had to deal with Charley Rickett. I had to cancel my first appointment he arbitrarily scheduled because I had to find someone to flag the sprinklers. I called in and asked to be rescheduled. Charley said he would schedule me the following week and call me back. Charley nor anyone else called me back. Also, on that initial call I asked about their fertilization program. I told him I had received a card in the mail and might be interested in using their service for this. He told me he didn't know that much about it and wasn't sure if it was even still running. Due to his lack of information and enthusiasm, I decided not to make that purchase. I found him grumpy and unprofessional. I sent him an email and voiced my complaints. He never responded, but he did send me an email telling me when I was rescheduled. I think Ken Hyatt was told something about my experience and he did call me a couple of times. I tried to call him back. We missed each other. By that time I was already going down the road working on something else..... In all fairness, I also purchased a sprinkler tune-up and that went well. Scheduling went smoothly and the Technician was great. No Charley in the picture though..

I was impressed by this company. It was necessary for me to re-schedule several times. They were patient and understanding. When the team arrived on the day of the service they were punctual, well prepared and efficient. I was pleased with the clean-up as well. I would absolutely use this company again. Dudet in Dallas

They came right away and did a good job. We didn’t have any problems with them, but we couldn’t talk to the individual who came out due to a language barrier. We had just a few questions about the service because it was our first time doing the work. There were no additional fees associated with the Big Deal. After the service, they have sent emails on how to care for the yard on a regular basis which is great.

Checking of the sprinklers went fine. He found a possible problem with a valve not allowing adequate water pressure from the sprinklers in one zone. He was to contact me to schedule a time to come back to find the valve and check it to see if it needed to be replaced. I also inquired about getting some garden landscaping done and was to get a plan and cost. This included connecting into the sprinklers for drip irrigation in flower pots, planting flowers, mulch, etc. I never received a call back, e-mail or plans for the garden work. There was no communication whatsoever from this company after the initial visit. The sprinklers are still running slow in the back yard so I will have to find someone else to find a solution. I will not use this company again, not because the initial service was bad, but because they totally forgot about me in terms of completing a service call to fix a problem (which I know I would have had to pay extra for) found during this service call, but also in terms for following through with other work that I wanted completed as well.

That turned out good. One technician came out and it took him about an hour. He was able to get the sprinkler system programed and made sure the sprinklers would turn the right way.

It went very well. I will happily use their services for any landscaping need I have in the future.

I was very satisfied with the service, quality, and price. Prior to the service appointment Village Green would call to confirm the appointment. In addition, I was provided a report detailing what weeds were treated and what type of fertilizer was applied, etc. I could not remember the exact dates of service so I estimated on my review, however the service was performed 2 seperate times over the past 3 months.

Village Green always provides excellent, reliable service. This was no exception. They came and applied the lawn fertilizer and weed control.

The tech from Village Green said was system was not up to code for an inspection, he suggested I get a refund since he did no work.

There were some communication issues, so the service wasn't actually scheduled until three or four weeks after I bought the deal. Once it was scheduled, however, everything turned out well. The technician showed on time, did a good job with the tune up, and didn't leave behind any messes. Thankfully, there were no major issues with the system.

Scheduling was a little tough but you know of this in advance with coupons. They contacted me and gave me a window of when it would be scheduled. They contacted me again to schedule. They arrived and did a good job.

He did very good job. He was very knoweleadgeable and was able to tell me the information in layman terms.

The service was good. They came out within 2 weeks of purchasing the deal, and we did not pay anything additional. They provided a good service for a good price.
