Village Green

Charlie called and was running early. Run all the zones and cleaned and checked out sprinkler heads. I had a couple bad ones. He adjusted the sprinkler to give me the best result and gave some suggestions. Gave me a price to replace heads. It was a really hot day but he keep working and with a smile.

The owner rectified the situation and we were appreciative of the resolution.

I responded to an Angie's List special for a sprinkler system tune-up. I scheduled an appointment. The technician was very prompt. He called a few minutes prior to the appointment to let me know he was coming. He did a complete inspection and offered suggestions for some needed work to replace two sprinkler heads and to move another head that was blocked. He did the work quickly and for a reasonable price. I'm very pleased with them.

It was a very large project that was performed very efficiently and it looks great. I will continue using them for all my landscaping.

Highly responsive company. We called them at the last minute with an emergency and they arrived the next day to check up on the system. Excellent customer service on the phone. They arrived early the next day but called us ahead of time to let us know they would be arriving early. Professional installation, who also took the time to explain the steps being undertaken to fix our sprinkler system. Would recommend them.

They repaired a sprinkler head They found it, dug it up, and repaired it.rrigation system waters the flower beds better. They did additional repairs on the nozzel and the sprinkler head and everything has been working fine ever since. They were so nice, I got caught up in conversation that my wife had to shoo me away so they could do the job. They also put us on their email list where they provide us monthly tips on yard care.

I had an issue with the sprinkler zone not turning off no matter what I did and due to the water restrictions we wanted the water to be turned off. Being new homeowners, we were not aware of the water turn off point for the sprinkler system. We consulted Angies list and found Village Green to be highly ranked. I called Village green at 8:00 AM and they said someone would call me up. I waited till 9:45 AM and no one called me back. When I called them back and said that it was urgent and I needed to know if someone would come down today itself, otherwise I would call another company. The representative paged Charlie and ensured that he got the message, Charlie called me up and told me how to shut off the sprinkler system and got someone to come out and fix the issue. Charlie let me know that they would be coming around 2:00 PM and I would get a call. At around 1:30 PM, I got a call that they were on the way. He arrived promptly, were courteous and answered the several questions I had. The work of tracking down the zone and finding the sprinkler valve box was done efficiently. Unfortunately, since the solenoid valve that was used was not available, he had to dig and replace the pipe which took a longer time. After fixing the same, he went around check and adjusting the sprinkler heads. One head was found leaking and I asked him to replace the same. It required some digging again. I do not know if the rain sensor was checked and perhaps should have asked about the same since the coupon mentioned about adjusting the lawn watering times and checking for the working. In any case, the sprinkler system works as it should I suppose. We had made a list of issues on sprinkler heads that needed fixing but he came up with just one. I should have clarified whether the ones I thought were not working were really not working. Overall, I was happy that the issues were fixed. I wasnt too happy that due to the digging the lawn was not in that good a condition but dont know if that is also part of the repairs - ensuring the grass looked just as it did before the digging. Charlie called me the next day to ensure everything is working. Their rate is 95$ an hour and it took an hour to get the fixes done. It took another half an hour for the sprinkler system tune up and that was 55$ (the Angies list coupon I bought). The material cost came up to around 65 dollars. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend them. Their service was prompt. - Update - We had an issue with another zone's water not switching off and they were quite prompt as usual although we got an appointment in a couple of days this time. They had to dig up again. The only issue was the grass around the place they dug up died! We will have to replace the grass.

Really good communication. Charlie took a special interest in ensuring that I was well informed about what to expect with my irrigation system and ensuing charges. Will definitely choose this company again. I was a little dissappointed that they could not fix one sprinkler that was under a Bradford Pear tree, but it was so tangled up in the roots of the tree that I could totally understand why they coud not level the sprinklier in this zone.

They show up on time, perform the service without delay or hassle.They communicate well when you have questions, respond to emailsor phone calls. They even show videos of problem spots in lawns or toaddress your questions.

This is why I use Angie's List. This lawn care service offers a good product at a good price. I am very pleased with how my lawn looks. I called several different providers on the list and this one was readily available and got me going right away. I feel like I got a great value for my money and feel happy that I have a service on which I can rely for the future.

The guys do a wonderful job and are very courteous and professional. I have had several comments about how nice my lawn looks since Village Green started caring for my lawn in early May. Ken, the owner, is both knowledgeable and honest and I feel good about doing business with his company. They aren't the least expensive, but the quality and reliability is worth it.

The whole experience went great. They promptly responded to my call (based on what I read about Village Green on Angie's List), arrived on time (actually early) and were very thorough in identifying the sprinkler issue. They thorough checked the status ofmy sprinkler system, changed directions of two or three sprinkler heads, identified a broken water line (broken by a fence builder), and repaired it perfectly. As a novice homeowner I feel completely comfortable with trusting Village Green to handle my irrigationand lawn care questions.

So far so good. They seem very easy work.

Charley arrived before the appointed time. He explained every detail of the job performed and answered all my questions. He spent 2 hours performing the job.When it was finished he explained the invoice and showed to me the parts he replaced. We spoke of future service. I am inclined to call this companybagain.

Ken and his crew did a great job from start to finish. After talking with me and my wife about what we wanted, he presented a proposal that really fit our needs. It was elegantly designed with beautiful plants, but low maintenance at the same time. They had also designed it so different plants would be blooming at different times of the year. The work only took a couple of weeks, and was very well done. However, the continued attention to the house throughout the summer months was the really impressive part. Over the extremely hot, dry summer, the folks at Village Green would come by and rescue our dying plants and replant the dead ones. Throughout this past year, my wife and I would come home and find a new plant every so often where an old, dying one was. They really took care of us, and as our year contract winds down, I'll be sad to see them go!

They did a great job and it was cheaper than I thought it would be. They had to replace multiple spots in my sprinkler system and put in all new magic heads. They were here for about 3 hours and I ended up only paying 350. Will use them again.

They were running a special. I called them to get a prices range. They told me the basic lawn treatement was under $30.00. They came quite frequently, and the spacing wasn't what I had been led to believe. They were finished by mid June. I expected it to go a little longer for weed control. I called them back to find out how much it would cost me for follow up, and it was $50.00 a treatment. I have a very small yard, so I didn't continue with it. I was disappointed with their pricing.

Village Green returned my call in a timely manner. I dealt with Charley and he arrived on the date and time that we had set. Charley was able to point out there was no leak in my system, only a minor adjustment to the actual water valves took care of the problem. While at the house, I asked him to check out my sprinkler heads, four were identified as needing replacement and he promptly took care of that at my request. He was very professional and the price I paid for everything was very reasonable. I will definitely keep this company's number should I need their assistance in the future. Very pleased with their work.

I am just now starting out on their year long fertilization program and so far so good! The yard already looks much better than it did after the mild winter we had. I would definitely recommend.

I called during a very busy time of the year. It was during the heat of July when I called needing to have my sprinkler repaired. They came out quickly and assessed the damage. They put me on their schedule and had me up and running in no time.

It was a one time that we used them; if the need arises, we will use them in the future.

I've been trying to control the weeds myself with several products from Home Depot. Some of them were pretty expensive, like the pre-emergent. But the weeds were getting out of control so I called Village Green Lawn Service after reading several good reviews. They gave me a quote over the phone after looking at the lot size with google map. Gave a the best price among the several places I called. Also, no contract like other places. So, I made an appointment. Someone came out, applied the pre and post emergents, left me a nice invoice with the service report and recommendations. Best part is that after few days, I started seeing the difference. It's been about 3 weeks now and my lawn is looking a lot better. There were these tiny little purple flowers everywhere and they are all gone. So, I'm very happy with the service.
