Village Green

I thought that Village Green was very helpful in determining the weaknesses in my sprinkler system. The repairs were quick, and they answered all my questions. I would hire Village Green again.

Inspected system, suggested improvements, didn't push anything. Did an excellent job.

We had a leak for quite some time in our backyard. The system was tested first. There was a valve that was the likely culprit and so digging started there. After digging it was discovered that the valve has been installed in a strange manner and the piping needed to be rerouted to get to the valve to see if it was going to need to be replaced. I asked about how much it would cost. I got two quotes, one for just needing to fix the leak or the other for having to replace the valve. The work was priced according to parts and time. The valve needed to be replaced and it was all finished in the time that he estimated. The cost for all parts (including rerouting) and service was acceptable. A long occurring problem for us was solved in about 1, 1/2 hours.

The gentleman from Village Green was on time (actually a little early) and very professional. He did an excellent job of replacing turf which had to be dug up. Overall, he did an outtsnading job. I will definitely use Village Green's services in the future.

Very courteous and professional. After completing the initial inspection and identifying problems/areas for improvement, they completed a majority of the work required. However, they lacked a few parts and couldn't complete all of repairs to 1 or 2 zones nor could they get the items immediately (it was too late in the day so not entirely their fault); therefore, we are rescheduling for them to come back out complete the remaining minor repair. Based on their initial visit, I anticipate the remaining repair will be completed in a tiemly manner once they come back out (waiting on my work schedule to calm down before I reschedule and not on the company).

They are simply trying to charge me for work that doesn't need to be done. It's ridiculous. They should have given me all of the information from the beginning. They never told me about all of this work from the beginning. This is not right what they did to me.

My experience with Village Green was great. The service tech was punctual and professional. He quickly located the issues with my sprinkler system and had it back to ship shape in no time! My emailed invoice was fair and accurate. I would highly recommend this company again!

Came at the scheduled time and did what he said he was going to do. Only negative was the gentleman who performed the repairs was going to call me back to schedule something else and never did.

Village Green did an excellent job for us. They checked out the system, recommended what needed to be fixed, and did the work.They replaced the one head that was broken and raised 12 others. Also the job was completed at that time for the price quoted.

We are very happy with the outcome of their service. They are very professional. Main reason why I like them they came immediately when I called them and they promptly fixed the issue. They guided me through on areas I do not know for e.g. I do not know how to checkup the water supply to the irrigation system. They guided me through it and the outcome of work done was really a professional job well done. Thus, Village Green knows how to keep clients sprinkler system working its best and more importantly knows how to keep clients lawn and landscape looking great.

They arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment time and they called to make sure that I would be home. Daryl made sure that the system had the correct watering settings for this time of year to maximize the waters efficiency for the landscaping. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. I already have another appointment set up with Village Green to make an adjustment to our irrigation system that was discovered during the system check.Daryl was nice to deal with and very professional. Also, Tiffany (in the office) was helpful and very pleasant to deal with as well.

I was very happy with Village Green. They were able to accommodate my work schedule. They were punctual even though they had fitted me in on short notice. They checked my system and reviewed their recommendations with me. All work was done on the spot. I was very happy with the price. I will use them for any future irrigation needs.

Performed an irrigation system check which included adjusting sprinkler heads. Additonal services beyond the original GroupOn included replacement of damaged heads and adding a couple of new ones.The technician arrived about 45 min utes after the scheduled time but did call ahead to let me know.

Daryl evaluated my current sprinkler system for functionality and coverage. I approved fixing what was broken and all suggested improvements. He completed the repairs and improvements quickly and well within budget. Excellent service! Village Green will be my sprinkler service going forward.

It was a pleasant epcerience. I had to call to remind them of the quote needed after the first visit. That was the only problem encountered. They came on time, did a good job and completed the job properly.

This time of year, especially with the offered special, the lawn irrigation companies are very busy. I understand that unsuspected problems show up and take extra time to take care of. Village Green did have to change our scheduled date from June 27 to July 3, but we were kept well informed of these changes.

They were pleasant to deal with and efficient. They had to come out a second time to finish something up and they were very responsive about doing that.

It appears that everything is working ok.

Charlie from Village Green called the day before to remind me he was coming out at 8am in the morning. At 7:15am he called to say they were ahead of schedule and arranged with me to come out at 7:45am. He showed up with another worker right at 7:45am and the first thing they did was check the controller which looked good. Then they checked the main sprinkler valve and found it had been turned off. Looks like the city turned it off without letting me know. Next they found the reason it had been turned off...one of the sprinkler rotors was broken and water was pouring out. They replaced the rotor and 2 other nozzles, raised 3 heads, and adjusted all of the remaining heads. They also reprogrammed all the zones on my controller to come on at 3 different times twice a week (on the Richardson watering days). Did an excellent job. Can't even tell where they had to dig up around the heads to replace or adjust them. They were there for 1 hour and charged $135 for parts and labor. Subtracting the $20 Angies coupon and the total cost of the job came to $115.

Overall Village Green is a very professional group led by Ken Hyatt. Beginning of planning process Ken brought a landscape architect (add'l cost) to the mtg and put together a plan based on needs of homeowners. In our case, he put together a phased approach which is a great planning tool for future years which included the front, side and backyard. This extra touch was a big part of our hiring Village Green. Ken was at our house every morning (3 days) ensuring all work was prepared according to the plans. The crew was very nice and flexible as some changes were made on site. Only negative's which are minor is the length of time between the initial mtg and installation as it took the architect 2 weeks to provide drawings then another several weeks to get on the install schedule. The overall price is higher than average based on other bids rec'd but you get what you pay for.

Everything went very well. They were there on time and completed the work promptly and on the agreed upon amount.

Our first appointment with Village Green was to have our sprinklers serviced and adjusted using an Angie's List Coupon. I had expressed my disappointment in the way the appointment was repeatedly changed and that they never got back to us with an estimate for additional work that we wanted done. I am very impressed with the promptness with which they addressed my concerns and their desire to make it better. They admitted that they had dropped the ball and wanted a chance to complete the job. Ken told me that as a result of my concerns they have set up a different system for handling follow up calls. The technician was prompt in calling to set up an appointment that was convenient for me. He arrived right on time and did a great job improving our sprinkler system. It is obvious this company is very interested in being the best they can be and in offering top sevice to their customers. I would not hesitate to use Village Green again. Thank you Ken and Charlie.
