Village Green

I was very pleased with the work done. My sprinkler system is working better than it has in a long time.

He came out the same day. He found the leak but unfortunately it was not in the sprinkler system. He said he could fix it but it would take him longer than a plumber and he doesn't normally work on copper piping. I was thankful for his honesty.

I was please with the work I had done and would recommend them to my friends.

The overall experience was good.

They evaluated the sprinklers and fixed the problems of sprinkler coverage. Overall it was fine but pricey.

I've used Village Green twice for different sprinkler repairs. I was very pleased each time with the work and professionalism of this company.

Overall the serviceman was very knowledgeable and went beyond what we asked by marking all our heads so my husband could do part of the work and save some money. I am very happy with this company. They also send out reminder emails to change settings with the seasons.

He arrived on time, told me clearly what problems he had found, and dealt with them in a remarkably short time.

So impressed with service we hired them to landscape our front yard. Very pleased. First gave us a detailed plan and allowed us to pick and choose for price and preference. The work was completed on time and they were all very professional. Excellent job. We plan on hiring them again next year to do the backyard and pool area. Would highly recommend.

There isn't much more to say. The repairman promptly looked over all my sprinkler system and fixed what needed to be fixed. He also offered some advice on my trees and shrubs.

They are always prompt and courteous. They tell you everything they are doing and what needs to be replaced.

They dug around some sprinkler heads and supposedly changed six heads then adjusted the system's schedule box. Yet, I wasn't left with a satisfied feeling after having to pay an extra 200 some dollars for something that I thought I was going to receive by purchasing the coupon. Or at least the coupon could have been applied as a credit to the additional cost. I just don't see where much else was done that was different from my purpose for purchasing the coupon initially.

Since my first contact with Village Green I have had two services performed. Service Call #1: 8/16/2012 - $381.60 Performed: Replace 9 Popups - 9 x $7.00 = $63.00 Replace 13 Nozzles - 13 x $3.00 = $39.00 Replace two 1/2 Inch PVC Risers - 2 x $6.00 = $12.00 Labor Hours - Two x $95.00 - $190.00 Notes From Invoice: Programmed Controller, Ran System. Found numerous heads bad. Replaced all except Parkway on side. Zone 8 Inoperable. Set Controller for 2 days a week watering Mon and Thurs 4 times a day (3 Morning and 1 Evening). Will reschedule for those repairs. Customer Comments from Service Call #1: I never received a follow up call about rescheduling the repairs above. I had to call Village Green to reschedule a week later. Service Call #2: 9/7/2012 - $318.82 Replace 6 Popups - 6 x $7.00 = $42.00 Replace 6 Nozzles - 6 x $3.00 = $18.00 Rebuild Valve Zone 8 - 1 x $56.00 Replace two Extensions - 2 x $1.50 = $3.00 Labor Hours - Two x $95.00 - $190.00 Notes From Invoice: Replaced 6 Heads in Zone 5 and Adjust for Coverage. Zone 8 Valve Bad. Rebuild Valve. Still has electrical short prior to valve. Customer Comments from Service Call #2: Once again I never received a follow up call about rescheduling the repairs above and due to this I will not be using this company again for any sprinkler repairs that I may have in the future.

Very prompt, professional and overall an excellent job making sure all sprinkler heads were properly set and not clogged.

Overall, the service provided was efficient. Not too much time was spent, including the repair work that was done.

I expected sprinkler nozzles to be aligned. Had a few that were still not aligned. The lawn expert programmed a new watering schedule for the sprinkler system. His setting seems to have disabled the humidity sensor control - sprinklers go on even when it rains heavily.

I am happy that I chose Village Green for Lawn fertilization and weed control. They do an excellent job, provide great advise to create a green and healthy lawn. When I needed some clarifications, the owner of Village Green personally visited my lawn and inspected and provided suggestions. After every service they leave a summary of lawn condition, details of treatment and what is expected of me in terms of watering etc. I will recommend Village Green to all my friends interested in Lawn services.

Repairs were done as expected. They missed one leak and have called to come fix. I have been unable to schedule a time for them to return but they have been in touch.

Since they did not show up I hired another company to do a lot of work for me too bad as they are very nice and know their stuff. Just not reliable and can't count on them. Guess they do not need the business.

I don’t think it was a very good deal. The regular sprinkler company that I use would have just charged about $300. The $ 55 was just to look at it and they had extra charges because I needed a couple heads changed and change a busted pipe out and so my final price more expensive that I wanted it to be. The guy who came out was really nice and did a great job. I was surprised at the price more than anything else.

I had to check on the work, but my complaints about the misaligned sprinkler heads were addressed. I also had to ask for the box to be programmed, even though the worker said my bos was outdated. I would say they provide good service, but I still had to check their work and make sure they did what I asked, but they did follow thorogh and were polite.
