Village Green

So glad that I based my decision on quality more than on price. Village Green has been an excellent choice. There customer service could not be beat. I have had several schedule lawn treatments...fertilizer & aeration & sprinkler service. They keep their schedule, call in advance to let you know how their time is running and call before arriving. Very good about leaving comments about lawn/shrub conditions and suggestions for improvement without pushing you for additional services. I love the online payment capability and onlie account for electronic communitcaion. Now I know why they are so highly rated on Angie's list...they deliver!

I sent an inquiry in the morning about having the company come out and give me a quote on weekly yard maintenance and some other general landscaping needs. That afternoon I received an email back from the owner stating they did not service my area; however, he gave me the name of another company he highly recommended. The email was very professional and I was happy to receive such a quick response. Although this company did not provide services to me, I truly appreciate the owner's professionalism and quick response.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I guess everything went well because the lawn looks good and I didn't have any weeds this year. Whatever they put down, worked pretty good. I called them back to do a lawn aeration and it went well too.

Home inspection found out one sprinkler zone is not working. To avoid more grass die out, I was in a hurry to get a sprinkler repair service. I called several providers, and was able to book an appointment with Village Green in the next day. The technician arrove on time, and replaced the old sprinkler zone valve. It worked right away. Then I asked him to adjust and repair other sprinkler heads. When working with other sprinkler heads, the technician accidentally cut some control wire. He was not able to figure it out, and called the office for help. The office sent a more experienced guy and fixed it right away. They honestly deducted the times spent on this accident. The unit price for sprinkler head and the final price is very reasonable. Plus to my surprise, I received a followup call from them one week after the service, to follow up whether everything is running all right. This makes me feel they really back up their service and warrenty. I will definitely use their service again!

Setting up appointment was very difficult. Had to call multiple times before they would return call. Then when appointment was set, they showed up on a different day without notice. The job performed was good and at a good price, yet not sure if the difficulties were worth it.

Village Green pushed their machine around. They were efficient, came out, did it, and left.

Spayed for weeds 2 or 3 times, ineffective. Had someone else do the job and they got it right the first time. Note: This provider has mainly great reviews for irrigation installation, repair and maintainence, they should stick with that

I could not be happier. The technician even came back a day or so later to add a finishing touch that made a good job perfect.

They were very quick on scheduling. They did a fabulous job. I have no issues with them and would recommend them. They were professional, prompt, and did exactly what they were paid to do.

I was very pleased with the overall results and my lawn really greened up quickly and looked much better than any others on the street early on! The price was an Angie's list "Big Deal" and very reasonable for the work performed. I am very pleased with the work, but next time would insist that a definite date be established prior to the work. The sales guy called and told me the work would be done on the week of the 18th, and that I would be notified a day or two in advance so I could "flag" my sprinkler heads. This didn't occur and on the morning of the 18th itself, I walked out to find that the crew had already been here, aeriated the lawn, and left. Fortunately not a single sprinkler head was damaged which was a miracle. I wrote this off as a one-time communication breakdown and not indicative of the other reviews I've read. I'll certainly use them again!

It was a great deal. From a contractors stand point I can say they did a good job. They did not hit any sprinkler heads, did not break anything and everything went smoothly. It went as well as could be expected. It was a timing thing but when I got there he was loading his machine back and I asked him if he was going to do the back yard. He took the time to get the machine back down and do the back yard. He took the due diligence and to make sure I was happy. It was a good price.

Village Green did what was expected of them. I was over all satisfied. Their quality and price was good. I was impressed with their professionalism and punctuality. I would recommend them.

Nothing has been done. They have until June 1, 2013 to schedule & come to do the work. Ken & l agreed that l would call to schedule him to come immediately after my lawn service was here (they come every week.) He had scheduled an arbitrary time that would NOT have helped the lawn. I let him know that that time was not acceptable. I have left messages & have not heard back. I am sure they will contact me & schedule before June 1.

They tried to cross sell a little but I did not mind that. Everything was quite in order.

They did what they said they were going to do. My yard looks greener, so I believe the treatment did what it was supposed to do.

The technician showed up when promised and finished the job quickly. Nothing broken or smashed. Aeration was not as good as I expected.

Excellent service! He changed some of the heads and showed me how to do it quickly in the future. Most importantly, he identified major underground leaks and replaced faulty control valves. Would re-use his services again.

The provider showed up on time. He replaced and adjusted the sprinkler heads. Performed work as promised without any issues.

I contacted Village Green to perform some lawn sprinkler work based on other Angie's List reviews. I left a message and they promptly called me back to discuss my needs. They professionally answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, they could not schedule me for about 2 weeks and I needed someone sooner so I could water my lawn again. My experience was great and I would definitely recommend them.

They did a pretty good job. He has been very helpful. One of the issues that we've had is that we've had problem with rabbits in the yard and he did suggest putting sulfur down because it kind of deters them and keeps them away. They basically came out and never charged me for it. It seems like it's working. The guy that runs the company is really friendly and helpful. They come out really fast whenever I need them.

I liked this service better than the one I previously useddfor a spring check-up. . Not only was he a few bucks cheaper; but he explained some things about water pressure and what I could do to make my system, which is old and inefficient, perform better. He didn't try to sell me on this upgrade, just let me know what could be done if I wanted to pay for it. I didn't and that was ok with him. He didn't seem to mind that I followed him around and watched what he was doing.

Tried to get a quote. Called office and estimator several times but unable to reach the people giving estimate. Gave up after several attempts in 3 days.

The office staff is extremely friendly and responsive.

We just bought our house several months ago and Daryn from Village Green did a complete sprinkler check up and fixed the areas that needed to be fixed. He spent time going over the system with me and gave me some great tips.

They notified me days ahead of time about their arrival. They performed the promised services on time and my lawn defiantly looks better than when I try to do it myself!
