Village Green

I noticed that there was water spewing from the area near the controller box of my sprinkler system. The repairman found that the pipe had broken and repaired it. Have had no problems since then.

The Village Green crew arrived on time. They were very courteous and professional. He told me exactly what they were going to do and they did it in a timely manner. The sprinkler system now works perfectly and is programmed exactly the way we wanted it.

I highly recommend Village Green. These guys know what they are doing. They are prompt, very responsive, courteous, friendly, and they are patient and take the time to explain issues to the customer. I trust them and plan to use them for all of my future irrigation needs.

I was apprensive about finding a company that would help us not only improve the front landscape but help us in work out a solution that would fit our budget and help us learn how to maintain it. Ken was able to help us with both and we are very happy with the results. He also managed all aspects of the project from design to install and was very helpful in finding other industry professionals to provide solutions for hardscaping and design. He will be working on our backyard next!

The technician, Charlie in this case, was going to come for the service while I was away at work. He was given access to the garage in order to see the controller. In our phone conversation before the service we talked about possible solutions including purchasing a new controller. I thoroughly expected the need to buy a new unit. We even settled on the brand and price which would have been over $300. Charlie called within a half hour of his scheduled appointment time to tell me what he had found. In this case he informed me the problem was not with the sprinkler controller, but with the rain sensor which had failed and was blocking the controller from turning on the sprinkler stations. By simply removing the rain sensor the controller became fully operational again. Charlie reset the controller settings to maximize water usage for summer sprinkling and charged me only for the service call and time which came to $105. He could have told me I needed a new controller and I never would have known the difference. Instead he saved me $200, made me a loyal customer and got this glowing review. Thanks.

I am pleased with the work done. The two people who installed the system did so with minimal disturbance to the existing landscape beds, and the control box for the system appears to be of good quality and is easy to program. The workers were punctual, knowledgeable, and answered my questions/concerns about the system. This company also services my regular underground sprinkler system; and after they worked on it, it has never run better.

They did what I expected and I paid them for the additional work. The price was fair and the service was good.

I bought a deal through Angie's list and emailed them right away. However had a bit of trouble to get them to answer and set up an appointment. After many weeks, i sent them an email again and after many phone calls was finally was able to get to come home. The person who came was very professional and meticulous in the work. In the end I was very satisfied with the work.

I absolutely love them. Ken is so helpful and communication with him is very easy. He responds to emails. My lawn is looking better already. I absolutely love this company and can't say enough good things about them. They have done a great job. I don't know if I have ever been as impressed with a home service as I have with them.

They come out monthly. I have a year subscription with them.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and they did well. There was an additional charge for moving the sprinklers but this was something we asked them to do so we expected the additional charge.

Daryl Harris arrived at the appointed time. I had already made a failed attempt to repair so the valves were exposed and Daryl went right to work diagnosing the problem. He worked quickly and when he needed some advise, he called an associate (whose name escapes me) and after checking all the wiring, determined that one wire had a short. He ran a bypass wire to confirm the diagnosis and it was correct. He asked if I was satisfied with the bypass. He said he he could continue to try to identify the source of the short if I wished. Since they charge by the hour I decided to live with bypass. He secured the wire and was done. Very efficient and very courteous.

When the Texas spring rains finally gave the provider an opportunity to schedule aeration work he admittedly was backlogged. When they notified us that they were available to do the work, the company performed approximately 4 times the work which was originally contracted. This jester of goodwill attests to the work ethic and professionalism of the individuals in this company. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate using them again in the future.

It was very good. The Village Green workers were very helpful. They called to say what day they would be coming, I'm not used to anyone doing that, and they don't really need you to be here because they were just going to pull the machine off. They unloaded the machine, pulled the plugs out of the lawn and all is well.

Provider contacted me very quickly after purchasing deal and scheduled service for same week. It was all done while I was at work, no problems, sidewalk and walk way were cleaned up afterwards. Excellent!

It was okay. I wasn't that confident in the thoroughness of their work and I went back to an old contractor I had used prior to them. I just had to pay the big deal amount.

I bought a sprinkler system check on an Angie's Big Deal. The guys from Village Green checked my system, changed a couple of sprinkler heads at no charge. I will definitely use them again!

Replaced parts and adjusted the spray. Reviewed the time settings .

They did what they were suppose to do and even when they had to pull up a sprinkler in the ground they did not complain.

They were fine. They are very knowledgeable. I would not use them again because they normally do not come out this far.

We set a time, the dogs were put up, Village Green came out and did their thing, and they left. Everything was fine. They did a good job and they were very thorough. I walked around and Village Green covered the whole yard just like they said they would.

Ramon, who I talked with the previous times seems to have pride in his work. He pays close attention to weeds and problems and tries to take care of them. I have been treating my own yard and plants for 4 years and just joined Angie's List. Village Green was running a special and I decided to sign up. Has worked out so well that I signed up for a year and even recommended them to a friend. I like that they call before they come and they show up right on time. When they leave, they leave a bill and then leave notes on what they are going to come back and retreat some areas. There is a nice improvement in the appearance and health of my yard and plants
