It was fine. They seemed to know what they were doing and solved all the problems. They were very efficient.

I went fine, they came out last week. Their service was fine and i was pleased with them. The person who was there said the man was very good and explained what he was doing. It was hard for me to get it straight when they were coming but that was because of my busy schedule. They were very quick.

I purchased the deal on Angie's List. It took a long time to schedule the appointment. When the service provider arrived he had lots of recommendations for my system that he could fix - for a fee. He also changed some broken sprinkler heads that I hadn't noticed and didn't tell me the prices until after the service was complete. I felt stuck since the work had been completed.

It turned out very well. They did a good job and I would use them again.

I was very satisfied with the employee who was very professional, explained everything he found and the work done, and offered useful suggestions for future improvements. The additional cost was for work I requested in addition to the sprinkler tune-up to upgrade my existing system. The company obviously takes great pride in their customer service and I would be happy to refer then to my friends. They also have some very good educational information on their website.

We were very pleased. He was very informative. They came outside of their service area to honor the deal. The guy was outstanding, telling us what he was doing and helping us out as much as he could. The customer service. They have been very helpful. I would recommend due to their personalized service. I talked to Charlie initially and he was very helpful with the scheduling and time available.

It turned out nice. They came out and ran their machine all over my yard. They did a good job. It was my first time having it done. They were on time. The price was great and I would use them again.

It turned out ok. It wasn’t anything fantastic. I didn’t feel like he was that thorough. It was fine. He told that he was going to come back and fix one of the heads and he didn’t show up. He was very nice but he didn’t do it. So I called him back but he told me that he had done it. Then he called me back again and told me that he didn’t do it. There was a leak. He told me that he would have to comeback another time to fix that. We set up a time, he came out. Unannounced to me my yard crew showed up that day and they were working when he got here. So when I had got there he had already left. He couldn’t work when they were there. Anyway, he left and told me that he will callback and setup a time to fix this leak. The yardman asked me what was going on after he had left. I told him the water was just leaking. He told me the head’s just bent and it’s not a break in the line. He told me when my daughter pulled in; the car ran over it and bent it a little bit so it’s leaking. He told me that I just needed to replace that connection. I called the guy back and told him that. He was telling me that he needed to come out and spend a couple of hours. In fact it was the head that needed to be replaced. That was kind of surprising to me that he wouldn’t check it. He was making it to be a lot bigger than deal than it was. The whole thing was just all screwed up but it wasn’t all his fault. It was a big deal purchase. I bought it and I can’t really complain about it. Before he came out he was only there for about 20 minutes. He just went around and checked all the heads with the pliers. He just kind of pointed in one direction or the other. That was really all he did. I could have done that myself. He was saying that he needed to come out again and do some adjustments. That was going to cost money. I really just didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth or maybe I was expecting too much. If I had not got the deal and just called him to come out and fix something then I may not have even paid for the inspection part. The fact that he didn’t come back and fix the head bothered me. He talked to me extensively saying that he was going to the store to get it and then he’s going to comeback. Then he didn’t do it. I am going to call him back anyway. I guess the quality was ok because the head that he put on worked.

My experience with Village Green went fine. They were very prompt in scheduling and did what they needed to do. They're easy to work with. They did exactly what they said they'd do. The price was a very good deal for aeration.

My experience with Village Green was very good. He also gave me a quote to do more work, which I'll probably end up doing in a couple of weeks. The guy that came out was very friendly and thorough. He spent about 45 minutes going through and tuning up the sprinkler system and he gave me some recommendations on what to do. It was very nice.

After reading through practically all the reviews, I recognized that even though there were a few negative ones, I was totally impressed how the owner, Ken Hyatt, would provide a response to most all of them. He was even willing to admit when they "dropped the ball", instead of trying to put the blame elsewhere. That impressed me, so I took a chance with this company and I'm glad I did. In preparing for the project, Charley provided what he thought would be needed to meet my needs and made some other suggestions. Though I ultimately made some adjustments to what I wanted to have done, I so much appreciated his willingness to work with me to make sure I was happy with what I was about to purchase. He has also done a great job on communicating with me throughout the project, even when it had to be delayed one day due to weather. I also appreciated how Charley called me the very first day to let me know his guys were on the way. Punctuality is very important to me and Village Green passed my test. When the guys showed up to do the work, I met Darrell who appeared to be the "chief". I cannot say enough good things about Darrell and the quality of work his team did on this project. The first day they were able to work was following a recent ice storm and it was still pretty cold. They even had to postpone one side of the house due to the ice that had not melted. When they came back to finish the job, Darrell was by himself and finished it up. He also checked out all my other sprinkler heads and made any necessary adjustments/repairs. He even showed me how to address another area of the yard that I was wanting to take care of myself. I would highly recommend anyone to give this company a chance to see what they can do for you. Though it is early in their treatment of my lawn for this year, I'm excited to see what it looks like later this year. As I consider myself a perfectionist and one that would rather do the work myself to make sure it is done right, I would not hesitate to hire Village Green for any future projects.

I have had Village Green aerate my yard for the past two years now. They came out when they said they would completed the aeration of my yard in a timely manner. I have noticed a great improvement in my grass since I have started having this serviced performed. I will always have my Village Green aerate my yard every winter.

They did a lot to work around my schedule, and they came out on the day I wanted, and they did a great job.I would definitely recommend them, they worked around a busy schedule.

The workman who showed up never knocked on my front door to let me know he was here, which was a little disappointing, but he did a very efficient job of aerating the lawn. When he was through, again he did not knock on the door to let me know he was through. He did, however, leave a receipt on the door to let me know he'd been here.

They didn't do a whole lot, and they were supposed to contact us because we had a problem with our sprinkler system, and we needed to find out where the problem was, and some of their equipment was being used by their other crew, and they did not contact us again after that one day. They were out soon after we purchased the big deal, and they came out and went around, some of the sprinkler heads were not in the right direction, and he fixed that. Some parts of the sprinkler system were not working, and he said it was an electrical issue, for which they said they were going to come back, but they never came back. They were professional to a certain degree, they seemed polite, but they also seemed unprofessional. They kind of knew what they were doing, but kind of didn't know what they were doing. My mother-in-law had owned the house, and the sprinklers system is very old, and she had different people come and work on it. They were probably more knowledgeable about the current systems, but they weren't as knowledgeable about the older system. They didn't do very much for the amount we paid, although he had to go and find some of the sprinkler heads because of the grass had grown over them. They came when they said they would come, it was just their follow up which was bad. They tried to explain things if we had questions.

Sam called before coming to the house. He was able to come earlier than expected which worked out well. He checked all the station connections, water pressure and coverage areas. He programed the unit for optimal watering time on the days specified for Dallas county. He also fixed a sprinkler head. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I definitely recommend this company.

I've used other Angie's List Big Deal coupons for other services (from various companies) in the past and I always expect some sort of "extras" though valid, because stuff is usually found that is beyond the original scope of the original Deal. That's fair and as long as I understand why it is beyond the original scope, I'm comfortable with that. I already knew my sprinkler system needed a tune-up and I suspected some stuff might be broken. Charley came to the door, asked for access to the sprinkler box in the garage and did his thing and then emailed me an invoice, as well as explained his findings in person, plus on the invoice. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Also, there was 0 extra charge, he took care of everything needed. I will definitely use Charley and his company in the future; I already inquired about a weed control treatment/program.
