Vee's Appliance Repair

I can not say enough good things about Vee. He was very professional and after talking to him for awhile I just knew he was good honest person. He was thorough about what needed fixed with my refrigerator. My freezer wasn’t making ice and the refrigerator was freezing my food. The job with parts and labor was close to $650. We stayed in communication waiting for the parts to arrive. When he came back to install the parts he also checked a few other things (water line) just to make sure everything was working properly. He noticed their was a broken valve that was less then $10 that needed to be replaced. Although, he completed the main job he did not want me to pay him the $650 until he came back to replace the broken valve. To me this says a lot about his character and the fact that he wants to be sure the job is done properly. I HIGHLY recommend Vee!! 🙂

I was advised that the washer repair would cost 75 % to 90 % of cost to buy a new washer of similar capabilities of this 12 year old washer. He even did an internet search to find best sale pricing on top recommended washers. He did not charge me a service call or advisory trip. I appreciated his honesty and expert free advice. Bought a new washer that afternoon and delivered in two days.

Vee was prompt, friendly, obviously very knowledgeable, professional and the cost was less than expected. He took the Dyer apart cleaned it and replaced the broken parts and put it back together in about one hour. Super workolije the day it was new. 8 Year old dryer. I will definitely use Vee again.

Vee's and I have an appointment for noon today, 26 OCT 2018. I called yesterday to confirm, but there was no call back. It's now 12:50PM and he has not responded to a VM or a text on WhatsApp. He may be able to diagnose well but he does not make appointments. I asked if he was the owner, and he said yes. I contacted Angie's List to see if they could reach him. His shirts advertise Anglie's List on the sleeve. It's not an A rating by the results I've experienced.

Victor was very helpful. He worked around our scheduling, coming on a Sunday when most maintenance men do not work. He notified us of his schedule when he was running late and when he would be nearby. He tested the dryer and everything worked well, but then found out the problem was with our electrical plug. He did not charge us more than the service fee and even recommended others who could look at our electrical panel if we choose to go that route. I appreciated not being upsold on anything, persuaded to buy anything or fix anything, and he was very matter of fact. If we have any other appliance issues, we will definitely be calling him first.

He replaced the compressor on my fridge with a 1 year warranty. I contacted him within a year after the replacement of the compressor because the compressor started causing issues, but I have never heard from him again. Absolutely no response.

We haven't heard from Vee since he promised to show up on January 3rd, and we've been calling and leaving voicemails ever since

Took less than an hour. The replacement part was expensive.

Very well, repairman was knowledgeable and efficient. Fixed the problem.

I called to set up an appointment to evaluate our Whirlpool washing machine that was not spinning. We scheduled a time for the next day. Vee later called back and left me a message possibly changing appointment time. When I returned the call, he said that the original time would be OK. the next day he again called and left a message asking if the original time was still acceptable. When I returned his call a few minutes later he said that he was on his way to another appointment since I had not responded immediately after the last call and would have to come at a later time. When he did arrive, he quickly diagnosed the problem to a shifter, which he said he would have to purchase from a warehouse and would not have the part for 2 days. He said he should have the part no later than 1 PM on the agreed upon day, but when I called him at 1:30, he said he was going to pick it up then. He arrived later that day and repaired the washer. Price for the part was higher than could have been purchased on-line at ebay or amazon, but came with a 1 year warranty. Cost for the repair, including parts was $216. That seems to be comparable to what other appliance repair technicians would charge.

Outstanding - arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered parts, gave us an estimate and scheduled a time to complete repairs. It all went according to plan. Vee was terrific, we recommended his to some friends and they were equally pleased with Vee.

He fixed the dryer by simply cleaning the lint out of the vent. The washer seal was more expensive but Vee told me that it would extend the life of my washer greatly so I went ahead and did it. He also told me to leave the door open after washing in the future to prevent the moldy water from collecting under the rubber ring. Both have worked great since then.

Called last week and made an appointment for today between 2 and 3. They did not show up or call. I called them around 4:30 and left a message. Absolutely no response.

Vee finished the work in less time than was estimated and did a nice job.

Vee was able to come much quicker than Sears. I thought the ice maker would need to be replaced. Instead, a valve was the culprit. Unfortunately, the part he brought was an ice maker not the valve, which had to be ordered. He came initially on Friday. Returned on Monday with the new valve. WE'VE GOT ICE!!!!! I appreciate that Vee didn't try to sell me a new ice maker along with that new valve. Sign of an honest person.

The ice maker on our Samsung fridge began leaking. Vee sealed the gap between the ice maker and the fridge wall and that stopped the leak. On another visit he serviced our dryer to stop a vibration that was causing it to make a lot of noise. Now the dyer is as quiet as when we bought it. I highly recommend him for any appliance repair.

Vee promptly showed up and started taking apart the shelf guides and rear housing wall with obvious knowledge of what he was doing. No hesitation nor guessing, went right to the problem motor and actually REPAIRED it. He could have gone to the truck and grabbed a new motor to crank up the total bill, but, NO WAY. He carefully & precisely repaired the existing motor. After a full month has passed, the unit is still pleasingly quiet, running quite well. It was a pleasure to meet this gentleman, who did outstanding service. Keeping this company on file for future use!!!

Great!! Finished on time and very clean too

I'm very satisfied with their service. They were prompt and professional, calling prior to confirm the appointment. Very neat and clean. They answered my questions about why the heating element might have worn out sooner than expected and recommended having my duct cleaned out. I felt like the price was fair and with Angie's List, I got a discount on the labor. I will definitely call them again if I need major appliance service.

Vee cleaned out the dryer and replaced the element quickly because he had the part on his truck. I was happy to have a fast resolution. He also provided suggestions to help with lint build-up to prevent this in the future. Very professional and cleaned up when done. Received a B on punctuality only because he had written my number down wrong and didn't show up at appointed time. I called to check and came over immediately. I would definitely use Vee again for other repairs.

Great service and great communication

We called Vee's based on his rating on Angie's List. It was an excellent call! The owner personally completed the work. It was one of our most pleasant experiences involving a home repair. We will definitely use them again!
