We've had good service. We are on a contract policy with them. They are very good. They are all very knowledgeable, easy to work with and have good personality. We never have any troubles with them. They've always taken good care of us.

Within 4 years the air conditioner coil developed a leak and I had to put in 4# to charge the system. Total tried to take advantage of repair/replacement of the coil rather than help me out in the slightest.

They were wonderful. From beginning to end, 5-star, definitely would hire again. It took three days for everything to be done.

They were excellent all through. They did everything that they said they were going to do.They diagnosed what the fault in at-least five to six minutes. I would definitely use them again.

Good. Received report with details; however, I did not receive a phone call from technician explaining to me the results. I had to decipher his notes.

The quality of the work exceeded my expectations. This major undertaking was done very professionally and, considering its scope, in a surprisingly short amount of time. I am very pleased with the way in which the old equipment was dismantled and hauled away, the new equipment was installed, and the care the foreman and work crew took in the process. They also added more attic flooring to make future servicing of the furnace easier and also moved the control for the attic light switch to a more convenient location.

Excellent, tech arrived on time and did the job satisfactorily

The repair cost was $930 including replacing the Freon. The issue originated a few days after they have been out to do their maintenance service. I was suspicious about that. It had occurred so soon afterwards and I was concerned that perhaps it has something to do with their maintenance.

We have a maintenance agreement with them. We have three air conditioners and the cost is $439 for a visit in the spring and in the fall.

The technician was scheduled to arrive between 2 and 3. I received a call at 3:10 saying that the technician would be late be she would make sure that he had the correct filters with him. The tech arrives at 3:35 with the wrong filters and only "looked" at one HVAC and then says we can get out of the hot attic. He shows me a picture of his dog and writes a service call invoice for $75 and says that someone would be back to install the filters when they were in the area next. NOT a great way to make first impression!

Went well and service was good, but charge of $325 to replace a capacitor was high.

It was excellent. Total Air & Heat came the same day I called and even made it a bit earlier than they originally planned. Their call out rate and actual labor charge was very reasonable as well.

The technician arrived about an hour after our initial conversation. I was informed there was an extra charge for after hours service calls. I let him know I was ok with that. The A.C. Was in working condition in less than an hour. He was very courteous.

The technical work and replacement of the parts was excellent. However, I was charged $164 for one capacitor and $183 for the other. Both of these cost $10 ea on Amazon. Unbelievable markup. Will not be using these guys again.

It was good. I ended up paying double the "Big Deal."

Jeff came out to give an estimate for a new AC system (full system -- compressor and indoor unit). I was thoroughly impressed with everything about the interaction. Setting up the visit with the central office was quick and easy, they gave me a 4 hour window and then a 30 minute call to let me know he was almost here. When Jeff arrived he was professional, friendly, and thorough. He explained everything he was suggesting and why, pointed out issues with my system and clarified what was wrong. His estimate was not the cheapest I received, but it was far from the most expensive. He was receptive to my questions, and even after he left answered emails quickly with information I requested. In the end I decided to go with another company because of a personal connection within that company -- but would have been very comfortable going with Total Air because of my interactions with Jeff. I have kept his card, and should I need service in the future would not hesitate to call Total Air.

Top notch service! Why do AC's always go out on weekends? Our regular HVAC company couldn't see us until Monday and we were fortunate Total Air could accommodate us. We liked their work so much we will call them in the future for all HVAC needs.

The salesman who came and gave us an estimate was very patient and educated us about all of the different options, and he went around and measured the air flow and looked at all the vents and everything. He recommended putting in move vents and he just seemed very thorough and knowledgeable.

They were on time and the system works after they did whatever they did.

They worked on it. It took them the whole day to do it. They stayed until late that evening to make sure it got in.

Note that I went up to attic with the repair "team" and stayed with them till it was fixed. The heater was fixed and still works great. It may be old but with annual checkups will do fine. (No parts were replaced) and the charge was higher than I thought it was advertized as an Angie's list professional service provider. MOST IMPORTANTLY it was fixed and the heater worked and still does.

The service went fine. We have used the company again. Two technicians came out and completed the job in about 3 hours. They worked on 2 units for us. The staff was well informed and knowledgeable. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

They were on time and explained everything. The work was done well. They came back to do a 2nd part of the work.

The part that had the leak was replaced under the manufacturers warranty, but the labor, Freon flush, cleaning, and refill all cost me again. It SUCKS to drop 2 grand on repairs for a brand new air conditioner. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the initial install had nothing to do with the leak less than 2 years later, but who knows.
