They did a great job. performing the work in a timely manner at a reasonable price.

The Installers showed up at the time agreed and completed the work promptly. The fit and finish of the gate they installed was just 'ok' - screws in at an angle and not straight and poking through the other side of the fence. Cleanup was most unimpressive. There were nails left on our driveway (that I had to pick up myself) - the driveway and patio was not hosed down and branches from the tree they trimmed (which during the initial assesment I was told they wouldn't need to trim) were left in our yard for us to clean up. We wouldn't hire Texas Best Stain again.

The fence is TOP NOTCH!....exceeded my expectations. The two gentleman who built the fence did a FANTASTIC job! Highly recommend.

On time on budget they were responsive contacted me continuously to see how it was going and what I thought if there was a delay for any reason such as whether they called up as an example they couldn't put the shingles on cuz the weather was too cold they let me know and told me when it was rescheduled

It went well. They also replaced a couple of wood planks that had split/warped.

How did it go? Not well. Sales guy said we did not need replacement and only quoted a repair. When the carpenter showed up and said it needed replaced, not repaired but they could go ahead do the lower deck and fence stain while they were there. I came home that day to find stain dripped down the driveway and splattering my grille and pool cleaner covers ( which were no where near the fence or deck) and the top rail of fence was not stained. I was also peaved that they damaged a hose connection when they apparently used my pool fill hose to spray something down after staining. I contacted Shane and he had Wade the satin guy come out and power wash the stuff off the driveway, but they were not able to remove stains on the grille cover nor the pool cleaner cover. About 10 days later the carpenter returned with the wood to replace the pergola. The carpenter and helper did a good job. They took two days to tear out and replace. Wade returned after a few more days to stain that new wood and touch up scrapes left by the carpenter' ladder. I immediately noticed where parts of the new work did not get stained. With the stain being dark brown and the wood being pressure treated Yella wood it really stood out to me. The unstained areas were easy to reach and easy to see from the deck. It looked like he just forgot to hit those spots. I reported that to TBS. The admin assistant said she would speak with crew and the owner and get back to me. Two or three days after no response I contacted the office as they were sending final invoice for the work again. The lady I spoke with had Wade call me and he explained that he was going to take care of the grille cover and touch up work. I explained that it needed to be done ASAP and I was not happy that they left me in the dark thinking they were not going to follow up. He said he would not be back anytime soon as I was 2 hours from his house, but could return the following week. A couple days later I got the invoice notification again and i contacted them to say I can pay the invoice when they get the work completed or they can pay me $350 to finish it for them. A week went by before I got a reply that said the owner would like to accept my offer to finish it myself. So, I had to go buy some Behr and brushes and finish it after all. Now I'm left feeling that this contractor lacks quality control. If the sales guy came out after the work and sort of inspected it with the crew before trying to collect the invoice they would probably catch this stuff themselves and prevent the back and forth BS we endured. If they knew somebody was coming out to QC their work they might be more careful. And yes, I did contact Rocky. He said the hose they damaged was old and rotted anyway ( like that was the issue) and claimed I did not give them a chance to make it right. I guess it's too late now. caveat emptor

Texas Best Stain was very organized through the entire process from when they responded to my request from Angie's list, bidding process, scheduling, and work. If I had an issue of concern they responded to it. For instance, my fence was stained right before Christmas. The next day it rained. So when the fence stain dried, it seemed a little uneven in places. I requested that they come back out to touch up the fence where there was uneven or light staining and they rescheduled in January after Christmas. The final refinished fence looks great. And I like the color.

12/28/2017 My experience was great. This company responds to calls PROMPTLY, comes when they say they will (including the initial quote), and does quality work! Every person I interacted with was professional, helpful, and courteous. I recommend them most highly. You can depend on them!

Excellent. Received prompt quote . The work of the powerwash and stain was done exactly as communicated. Finished result looks great. Process from start to finish was seamless.

From beginning to end we have been impressed with this company. We wanted an outdoor living space and we had a tight budget with our own design ideas. We were listened to, and it showed in the price quote we received and the over all design of our covered patio and concrete base. They went out of their way to help us with the approval process with our HOA, and our project was completed in a week. The crews were professional, nice, and were very clean! I would recommend this company for any outdoor project!

When the weather finally cooperated, they were into the prep work of cleaning the fence and two decks quickly. They used a solid color stain/sealer on the decks and a traditional fence stain on the fence. They had to repaint the deck again due to some light coverage here and there, but re sprayed the entire 500 square feet! The decks look great! I recommend a drying and curing time before using furniture etc on the deck.

It went pretty well, took a bit of follow-up to get on their schedule, but once it was scheduled, they kept the date. I also appreciate that they gave me credit on the 3-year stain warranty that only lasted 2 years. They also got allot of stain on the steel poles and didn't clean them off real well - a little sloppy.

Jason as a sale manager always responded me promptly and exactly understood what I wanted and tried to achieve them. Jose and his crew completed a really good work. Materials used are all cedar wood, three 8x8 posts. They also put several curved brackets on between the posts and beam, and three-step caps on the top and the bottom of the posts, which makes the patio cover look pretty solid and also aesthetic. The gable part is attached to the existing roof above my breakfast room, and flat part is against the exterior wall of my living room. Since the roof shingles they used are exactly same as the existing roof, the cover looks like a part of my house. Overall, the patio cover they built has high quality, and the price they offered is quite competitive. I think this is really a worthwhile investment for my family, we now really enjoy the outdoor activities.

Back fence replacement didn't follow the way the rest of the fence was installed. Also followed the grade rather then the way the fence was built. Washing and staining went well no issues there.

Once we finally got the crew out to Celina, they were very professional and competent. My only issue was scheduling the work. The office made commitments on scheduling a date and time which did not seem to apply in the real world. To be fair, it was during a period of pop-up thunderstorms which I'm sure play havoc with an outdoor schedule. But no one contacted me to inform of schedule changes. The pricing for the service was excellent and I am very pleased with the result. I would hope that the fact that it was an Angie's List promo did not influence the seeming lax attitude towards MY schedule.

They took longer than expected to come out, no calls, no shows for about a month. We were very specific on how we needed the services completed. We came home one day and the stain was everywhere, on our house windows, pool equipment and deck, and on the stone work under the pergola. We were able to get them to try to mediate this and they again would do no calls, no shows. They had to come twice because the first time they tried to remove the stains it was unsatisfactory. After the remediation I agreed to pay them becasue from what I could see the stains were removed. Later I realized that they had stained my roof! I called the owner three times and emailed them and was informed that the owner said that with the rain it would fade and to give it time to fade with the weather and it will look good. I now need a section of my roof replaced because there is not a way to actually remove the stain.

I had them come out on Monday to look at what needed to be done and they told me they would send me a quote on Tuesday. No quote on Tuesday I called Wednesday and Thursday for a quote and still nothing. Today is Friday and still nothing!

They came out and gave me an estimate by email, which I accepted, but never heard from them again. Left several voice mails also with no response. Lack of responsiveness is unacceptable. Hired another company.

It was fine. Not without a hitch but Jason worked to get everything worked out without being unreasonable.

I was pleased. The price was good too. I don't remember anything bad.
