When they prune it probably cost more. We don’t really keep people unless they are good. They are very good and they come on the day are supposed to and I don’t have to deal with them at all.

They did a good job trimming and weeding. The job was good overall. I would hire again. They cut our lawn too so overall I like and trust Terra Turf. Communication was a little disjointed with the office. The workers arrived unannounced. The weeds are already growing back.

The crew members did the excellent job about cleaning the landscape. They are professional and very polite. Whatever they have done to my landscape are way exceed my expectations. I will say JOB WELL DONE!

I purchased a landscape cleanup through Angie's List on June 30th. I never heard from them to schedule the service so I called twice and left voicemails. Finally, the following week I received a call back from Kat. She put me on the schedule for the following week July 13th. Even though I had been hoping for a quicker turn around time I understood this is the busy time of year for them. July 13th rolls around and no one shows up. In fact no one show the entire week. I call Kat back on. July 15th and she informs me that I had been dispatched for the following Monday. Monday July 18th rolls around and once again no show. I call Kat back. She tells me that I was on the schedule for this week but she couldn't give me an exact day. Now it is Friday July 22nd and no one has shown up. I call Kat once again and she tells me they are backed up and no one will be out. At this point I ask for a refund because I feel that I have been more than patient especially given that I always had to be the one to call them and that I never once received an apology for the lack of communication and service. I have left a voicemail for the owner Matt to request the refund. If the refund is not received I will have no choice but to escalate the issue. I would never recommend this company to any that I know.

These guys are great! I bought a new house and the whole right side of the house was covered in ivy and looked super snakey. My two guys came out and cleaned that hot mess right up! It looks amazing, so clean, and much bigger! They did such a great job. I love how clean it is now! And yes, there was a lot of snakes!

We started using Terra Turf last summer after moving into our new house and seeing positive reviews on AngiesList. We have been using them for weekly mowing service for about a year. Their standard weekly mowing rate is $28/week for up to 11k sq ft. Our lot is 18k sq ft with a pool. I spoke with someone at their office when I set up service and they looked up the property and quoted me $32/week given the larger lot size minus the pool and deck. They have always arrived on time for the weekly mowing service and did a decent job though it was a little rushed. The problems began earlier this year when I decided to use them for some spring yard work. I called and spoke with someone in the office about what services I should get. I submitted the online form requesting lawn aeration and up to $200 in bush and bed crew work to scalp the lawn, pick up acorns from the yard, and do some weeding if time permitted. I called the office and wound up bumping up the total to $300. I never received an update on when the bush and bed crew would come out. I later found out that they don't provide any such notification. They came late on a Saturday when we were away so we were not able to direct the crew at all. The following week, I got credit card bills for lawn aeration (~$100), lawn scalping (~$110), and then for bush and bed crew work of ~$500 (4 workers x 2 hours). I had seen the aeration and scalping done, but I was shocked when I saw a ~$500 charge on my card for for work that I said to have capped at $300 including the scalping. I was also surprised because even after being out in the yard on Sunday doing work, we didn't notice any difference from the 4 people working 2 hours we were billed for. We did notice there were fewer acorns in the yard. The invoice for the bush and bed crew work specifically lists weeding of flower beds and trimming of bushes which was never done. The best I can tell is we paid ~$500 to have 4 people pick up acorns for 2 hours! I had to call the office 4-5 times over a few days to get an explanation. I finally spoke with Matt at Terra Turf and agreed to settle on paying for 3 people working 1 hour. Matt credited me back the overcharge, but it took far too much follow up from my end to get the issue resolved. I was going to just continue using Terra Turf for our weekly mowing and find someone else to do other yard work since I didn't want to have to spend the time finding someone for weekly mowing. However, last Friday I got a call from Terra Turf saying they had been recently reviewing some of their large lots and determined that my $32/week rate should be $43/week. My lot is 18k, 7k over the 11k they allow for with the $28/week rate. They charge $1 extra for each 1k over. Even if you include our whole lot and don't account for the pool, our rate would be $36/week not $43/week. When I called the office to ask, I was told they couldn't explain how they came up with $43/week, just that "That's what Matt gave me, I'll have to check with him". Given how soon this unjustified rate increase comes after their overcharging me and having to refund me money, I can't help but think they are retaliating against me as a customer. That's not a business I want to be involved with.

Service scheduled before storm hit, so debris removal much greater than expected. The two men cleaned it all up without complaining. I did have to pay extra as the time exceeded what was originally paid. Owner of company was willing to negotiate the price with me, as more extra than I expected.

They are great. They came out the day after we called them. I think we called them on a Friday and they were there Saturday morning. It was great. It was perfect. We started selling the house that afternoon and we sold it in a week.

I am beyond happy with the work Terra Turf did on my yard. Matt and his crew laid new sod in the front and back yards. They leveled and graded the back yard. Added top soil to the front and back yards.The guys cleaned out the flower beds and planted new plants. So beautiful. I had to ask if this really was my yard! The crew was timely, polite, and knew what they were doing. They cleaned up after. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

After I bought the deal, I received a phone call that same day and they came 2 days later. They don't tell you when they are coming so you tell them on the phone all the things you want to have done. If you want any bushes pulled out you tag them. I am glad I was home because she said it would be the next week, but they came 2 days after the call. I was able to tell them exactly what to do. They cleaned everything up and my yard looks fabulous!

Outstanding job by 2 man crew. Worked consistantly and asked question when needed. Cleaned up when complete. Very efficiently done. Would hire again when needed.

Crew arrived on time and started work right away. When the job was completed, a complete cleanup was done. I also use TerraTurf for my mowing and edging work. The crew is professional and does work that is far superior to other lawn services that I have used in the past.

The guys did a great job - very good at the work they performed. We had a little miscommunication over what areas of the yard(s) were to be tackled, but Matt made amends and kept our loyalty. If you're looking for quality work, professionalism and outstanding customer service, then don't hesitate to hire Terra Turf! The only reason I gave a B on punctuality is because they guys didn't start until 3:50 p.m. and were finishing up in the dark. Next time I'll ask for a morning slot and wait for availability. :)

We had some issues with scheduling but they worked it out with me very professionally. The crew was excellent, they were very quick and efficient. They did everything that I had asked for and did an amazing job. My yard was full of leaves and pecans and flower beds were quite messy. They removed all the leaves and pulled out 2 hideous bushes and trimmed the rest. Everything looked very neat and tidy when they completed. It was a miserable day of weather as well and it didn't seem to phase them. I plan to hire this company in the Spring to place new landscaping and update our front yard.

We have been looking for a good crew to take over our lawn maintenance, and thanks to Angie's List, we found Matt and Terra Turf. We have what I like to call "problematic" flower beds that need more maintenance than I can provide, so we had Terra Turf out to clean things up and lay down some mulch for the fall. They absolutely knocked it out of the park. I've had 3 different landscapers work on our beds the last 2-3 years and Terra Turf was, far and away, the best. In fact, their work made it appear that we had been using amateurs in previous years. They beautifully trimmed the bushes and the mulch they used is a great improvement over previous years. The best part is, their prices were pretty much dead-on for the work that was performed. It's nice to finally be working with a company that can handle ALL of our lawn care needs and we're looking forward to seeing more of their work when the grass starts growing again!

The crew performed the job to our satisfaction

I've been dealing with Terra Turf for over three years, and I am completely satisfied. They handle mowing/edging for me every week, and the crews are always there and do a thorough job. I've also called on Terra Turf to do a number of other things around the yard - trim shrubs, weed/mulch beds, plant flowers, trim trees, plant sod - and every time, the results have been good. The response I've gotten from the owner (Matt) when I've asked for services has always been prompt and polite. The prices that they charge are quite reasonable (a *lot* less than my former yard care provider) and the few times I've had any questions or concerns, they have been resolved promptly and without any questions/hassle. Since I have physical problems with both my back and heart, I rely a great deal on service providers. The fact that I've been with Terra Turf for over three years and been very satisfied with them speaks for itself.

I contacted the provider via the Angie's List form. I got a response with pricing and "please fill out our online form & we will schedule for tomorrow (Monday)" I filled out the online form and waited on Monday. And waited and waited. At 3pm I contacted the business to get a generic voicemail saying they were CLOSED. Thanks so much for wasting my day without any notification. They sent a form email to me last night saying they'd be out today (Wednesday). While very irritated with them for Monday, I decided to let it slip, mostly because I still want the work done and I didn't have any real plans for today (unlike Monday). Not only did they not arrive (again), they didn't even bother to call (again). They will NOT be given a 3rd chance to waste my time.

They were in and out. I did supply the garden bags but no one told me ahead of time. Also the managing associate had a very hard time communicating what he needed from the person in my household that was home at the time. Probably should have been a phone call by the office to let us know when they would be there, what my special included (bags, etc.) and I am still pretty happy with the results. Those guys definitely worked as fast as possible. We just moved into this home and the previous tenant obviously did not have any interest in the yard or fauna. Next time it will be easier for them to do more. I suggest a note of priorities for anyone not able to be home at the time of service and garden refuse bags left out...just in case.
