Terra Turf Landscape

Excellent work. Looks great. Efficient. This is also my 3rd year of using Terra Turf for mowing, scalping, and yard cleanup. Always great work. Very respectful and polite.

Terra Turf crew showed up on Friday as promised and did a fantastic job. I recently had surgery and unble to take care of my own lawn right now. They charge a little more for a one time service, but it was well worth it. My yard hasn't looked this good in a long time.

They showed up on time, and did a great job.

Matt and his crew were very prompt, very industrious, and very, VERY good! We'll hire them again for other projects.

Great job done. Trimmed everything great. Removed all weeds, trimmings. On time. Quick and efficient. Matt was easy to talk to and got me on the schedule quickly. WIll use again.

We weren't expecting them to trim the shrubs, so happy with that. They did a good job cleaning up.

The bought the $89 3 Men for 1 Hour of Landscape Clean-up Deal. The crew arrived as scheduled. The lead man verified the work to be done. They proceeded with the work. The lead man wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the work before leaving. I believe I received good value for the hour work.

The 3-man crew arrived as scheduled. They sawed down the requested bushes. They raked up all leaves and bagged them. They mowed and edged yard. All plant debris and grass was bagged and moved to the alley for bulk trash pickup. The crew is hardworking.

Excellent service from this provider - we have contracted with them for weekly mowing service, as well as shrub trimming and beds weeded every 4-6 weeks. Their prices are good, their staff are quick and efficient. The owner is responsive to every e-mailed comment or request, and I really like the fact that they have an online payment service. We also had them do our semi-annual mulching of beds, their charge was reasonable ($400), and the results were beautiful. We have a quote from them to replace our lawn with another more appropriate type of grass, and will likely do that next year.

They were absolutely terrific. They did such a lovely job and their price is reasonable.

UPDATE: Since the review below, Matt contacted me to resolve my issues. He did so in a very professional manner and offered a free cleanup within the next 2 months. Matt stated simply that he "had dropped the ball" and apologized. He didn't make excuses and admitted the error. He owned it. He could have made up any excuse but chose to be honest about what occurred. I admire this and, in my opinion, reinforces his commitment to serving his clients and paying attention to the reputation of both his company and himself. It's refreshing to find this quality these days. As stated below, Matt and his company have excellent reviews which added to my concern when the original service didn't occur as planned. Just an off day and we ALL can have one of those. Based upon Matt's response to my issues and the quality of work performed, I have no problem recommending Matt and his company and look forward to becoming a regular client in the future. Well done, Matt. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After reading many reviews on landscape providers, I decided to contact Terra Turf. I called and got no answer. The message on the answering service instructed me to place my order via their website and receive $5 off the price. I did so on 5/17 via their online appointment feature on the website. I received an auto reply email stating I would receive a confirmation email once my request had been reviewed. I did not receive an email but I did get a call confirming they would provide the service on 5/20 and I provided them with my payment information and re-arranged my schedule in order to be present when they arrived. The crew never came on 5/20 and I assumed they had been delayed. After the crew didn't show up on 5/21, I called again and Matt apologized and informed me he didn't have access to his computer and would get back with me. No communication after that. After no contact for over a week, I arranged for another company to do the desired work and wrote a review on Terra Turf. About two hours after having arranged another company to do the work and having written a review, a crew from Terra Turf began the job. No call saying they were coming or that it was scheduled.....just crickets. When I realized what was happening, I spoke with one of the workers after they had started and told him what I would like to have done. Luckily, I was home and could fully explain what I wanted done. In fairness, the work was performed in a satisfactory manner and the crew even trimmed a small hedge in the back which I didn't ask to be done so the scope was a somewhat more than I expected. While the company's current reviews are good, I realize this one is less than stellar and perhaps some underlying issues contributed to the lack of communication and follow up. However, I would hesitate to use them again or recommend them at this time.

So I tried to call the office number and the cell phone and neither phone number worked. Then I wrote Matt an email and I got an email back that they are out of the country and he will check his records when he gets home on Tuesday and that he can't do anything about it. My husband tried to call both phone numbers also and neither of them worked. My guess is he had made arrangements for the money to be removed while he was on vacation to fund his trip and without cutting the lawn that was suppose to be cut. The h*** with the customer but I hope he had a great vacation.

We hadn't touched the yard since last September so it was pretty bad. We have a lot of bushes and landscaping - and it was all an overwhelming and overgrown mess! They did an amazing job!!!! Everything was completed as promised for a fantastic price. All of the clippings were bagged neatly next to the trash can for disposal. Awesome! Great communication and easy to navigate website. Professional and friendly, too!

The team arrived on time. The team leader explained exactly what would happen. They did a great job cleaning up front yard and pulling weeds from flower beds. Also shaped and trimmed bushes just right. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The crew arrived on schedule and listened to everything my husband asked them to do. They were finished in an hour, as promised, and cleaned up and even hauled away all the debris. I was very impressed!

Arrived on time and delivered product and service purchased. Cleaned up after themselves. After the first service, I hired them again for some follow-on work and would do so again.

It was just so-so, but I had a problem with the amount of mulch they gave me as they did not give me enough. We reached an agreement on how much more I would pay for the additional materials.

They did a lot of work in that amount of time. They did what I asked them to do. The scheduling was fine.

The tenant said they did a very nice job. She was pleased. I live out of town and didn't see it. The only complaint is that they didn't tell me when they'd completed the job. I was still thinking it had not been done and contacted the tenant. I would not know otherwise, because they'd just given me a time frame. Apart from that, I think they did an excellent job. I would use them again and would also recommend them to anyone.

We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for perfection. The crew took their time, they were very meticulous and friendly. We have been searching for a company that shows the type of pride in their finished product as we do with the appearance of our yard and we have definitely found that company! Our yard has never looked this good.

They were very efficient and effective in finishing the job, and I am very happy with how it turned out. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others.

Terra turf did a great job. Matt (the owner) came out right away to give us an estimate for our project. We were selling our house, so we asked that he clean all of our landscaping which had been heavily neglected for about a year and a half. We indicated that because we were selling, we would like the service done quickly. He said that he would try to get us a crew within a day, but that the job would take two days to complete because he had to pick up a ton of mulch. He was a man of his word. The crew came out and trimmed our bushes, trimmed our trees, mowed, edged, pulled weeds and grass in all our flower beds, and laid down new mulch. We had half an acre, so this was no easy task. It was done quickly, and it was done well. We will absolutely use Terra Turf again. EVERYONE who came to view our house commented that the landscaping was amazing and provided great curb appeal, and we couldn't agree more.
