I called for ant treatment and the service person came out on July 19, 2012 and treated the inside of my kitchen and the outside wall of my kitchen with Onslaught, Gourmet ant bait, Termidor, Talstar granules, Advance bait and Maxforce. Initially the treatment appeared to have worked, I didn't see any of the ants at all, but by the end of two weeks the ants were back and walking the exact trail as before. I called again and paid for additional treatment which was done on August 20, 2012 with ant bait, Termidor and Advance bait, but I never saw any reduction in the ants. They continue to come out every night and walk the same path in the same small area above my kitchen sink. I called the service person to ask what my expectation should be and he explained that I needed to wait at least a week for the ants to take the bait back to the queens. I have waited for two weeks and still have not seen any kind of reduction. I have spoken to Pete and today (September 5, 2012) I spoke to the owner, Tommy. Both have recommended that if I wasn't going to buy their annual program that perhaps another company should be contacted. They have my $200 so why try to figure out what the problem is...on to the next client. What a disappointment-as a realtor I am always asked for referrals for this type of service and have gladly given out this company to at least six of my clients. Not anymore!

The second treatment , exactly 30 days from the first treatment they used ant bait, Termidor and Advance bait in an indoor treatment and outdoor treatment.

I decided to use someone else. They used some of their sales approach trying to make me nervous. I did not have a good feeling. Also they came by when my home inspector was here, and he agreed that they were sensationalizing about what bugs can do to my house.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from First Strike Pest Control in July 2009. The estimate was for a termite inspection and a quarterly contract for pest prevention.

Called Strikeforce to come out. They showed up one hour later than the agreed upon 2 hour window, gentleman sprayed my home inside and out. Upon finishing he explained that Strikeforce uses a chemical that gets on the pests and is taken back to the nest, so it could take up to two weeks to see solid results. If I was still having problems at three weeks give Strikeforce a call. Three weeks later woke up and found hundreds of ants on my kitchen counter and kitchen floor. I immediately called Strikeforce, no answer so I left a message. Two hours later and no return call. So I called the company, Tom the owner picked up rather quickly. I explained who I was and that I had a problem with ants. Tom stated I had no warranty and it was spelled out on my receipt. But if I liked I could pay a reduced fee and he would come out and spray again, or I could sign up for his yearly service and he would take care of me. I argued that I had paid $100 and was told to call back in three weeks if I was still having issues and I felt like he was not honoring our business transaction. Tom countered by saying ants are tricky. I responded by saying his company advertises treating against ants on his web site. After a pause Tom said: "Whatever dude, you don't have a warranty it's right there on your receipt". When I told him I was unaware of not having a warranty, I will admit I did not read the receipt outside of looking at the price, and I was going to file a compliant with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) he replied: "You are getting this worked up over $100? I tell you what, you go to the BBB and you have chosen your course. I don't want you as a customer and you are never to call here again". Tom then hung up on me. I am disappointed I used his company, I am at fault for not checking on the warranty, but is it wrong of me to assume that if I have a horde of ants in my home less than a month after having worked performed I can expect some sort of warranty or goodwill business gesture?

Had called and requested to have a treatment for the inside of our home. My husband was working in the yard when the representative came by. My husband had asked for him to treat the outside too. He saw the representative go in the house but can not confirm if he sprayed or not. The representative changed the ticket to exterior only, even though he was to do both. Called the company and was responsive to my concerns. They did not call back, I had to follow up with them. Not customer focus. Will not use them again.
Description of Work: Called for an interior treatment. On the day of service, my husband requested outside to be completed too. They only did the outside.
