+ -1 moreWe are new to Angie's List, and came across these reviews. Our repair was a couple years ago, but the similarity in problems prompted us to add this review. We contacted Sartor TV to fix our huge Mitsubishi television that started 'going green'. We would be watching, and all the sudden everything was green. They came over to the house, diagnosed the problem, took the television into the shop, ordered the part, and then nothing . . . for weeks. We called several times and were told the part had not come in. After 8 weeks, yes, 8 weeks, the part arrived. They brought the television back to our home and it was in worse shape than before. It would still go green and the calibration was way off. They did come back and take the television again, but we never heard from them, and it was very difficult to get a straight answer from anybody at the shop. The father wasn't around much, the sons did not have a lot of information, so after several weeks (again), we finally just showed up at the store and asked for the television back. Needless to say, the television was never fixed. Their customer service is non-existent and their technical abilities have to be questioned. Sartor TV has to be the worst experience we have ever had with a service-oriented company.
Description of Work: Our large rear projection television started getting a green tint around the edges of all the objects on the screen. Eventually it would just go all green, then it would pop back with the green tint around the edges. It went back and forth for a couple days, so we contacted Sartor TV to come to the house and fix the television. We were told it needed a part that had to be ordered, so they took the television into the shop for the repair. As stated, the part took two months to arrive, and when we received our television, the problem still existed...and the picture was horrible. They tried another part, which also had to be ordered, and that part never arrived. The television was not fixed.

+ -1 moreExtremely unprofessional, unreliable service.
Description of Work: This was warranty repair...The company said they had ordered parts, lost my details a number of times, claiming computer issues. Said they would return calls to me, and never did so. After 30 days of trying to get service, warranty company just gave up with them.

+ 0 moreThere was absolutely nothing good about this whole experience.
Description of Work: This was a nightmare experience with a broken television! I took the tv into their store in April and did not hear from them until I called one month later. They told me that they had to order a part. One month later the tv was brought to my house supposedly repaired. I paid them. The tv was not fixed and I once again had to return it to their shop. They told me that they would have to order another part, then two months later the owner told me that the tv could not be repaired. This process took 6 months with no television. Then, I had to call them weekly for two months to ask about my refund. The owner made many excuses about my refund. I finally had to threaten a small claims suit before the money was finally refunded. I wish that I read the many poor ratings about this place that were posted on the internet before I tried to use them.
