Our first estimate from this company came from a rep that soon left for another job. Not a problem, it happens. His replacement was new to the concrete business. He was a very nice man, but did not have much concrete experience, and therefore couldn't answer many of my questions. He was professional and represented Salinas well, but was just not the right person for the job. For a number of reasons, he was let go as we were trying to move forward on our foundation. Needless to say, we were somewhat nervous about our decision to use this company. However, the same night our rep was let go, the owner of Salinas Concrete called me at home and said not to worry, our foundation had been assigned to another rep in the area. This new rep called us the next day, and the owner actually came up the next day from Texas to check on jobs assigned to the rep that was let go, and met me personally at our lot. (We live in Oklahoma.) I then met our new rep the day after that, who immediately got things moving on our job. Within days, our foundation was completed. Even though we did have some problems getting our "rep" situation worked out, the customer service and attention to our project following that issue was exceptional. The owner became involved first hand, and our last rep was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional and very hands-on, returned calls quickly and took care of our problem very fast. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have a new foundation poured for a house.
Description of Work: This was a new foundation, not foundation repair. The company does post-tension foundations. After talking to engineers, a post-tension was best for our house given soil conditions, fill, movement, etc.
