Excellent service...I purchased a Angies List Big Deal for a $99.00 TV wall mount installation. When I contacted the representative to schedule the installation he was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to come out to my home in less than a week to install my television above our wood burning fireplace. My wife had wanted the TV installed over our fireplace for years but I never felt comfortable tackling a project that big on my own. Luckily, Nortec Media was running the big deal for a $99.00 TV install. My cost of approximately $500.00 consisted of the following...$99.00 TV install fee + $200.00 swivel TV bracket (which they provided at reasonable price) + $95.00 electrician fee + $40.00 for the purchase of 2 extra HDMI cables to have dropped in the wall + the cost of tax. The installation technician did not provide me an invoice at the completion of service (no biggie) so my prices are as close as I can remember. Nortec Media had everything organized very well from beginning to end on our service call. They were able to recommend and schedule an electrician to come out at the time of the service call to route electrical wires to power the television. The electrician charged a very fair price of approximately $95.00 to run the electrical wire and re-route a coaxial cable on the exterior of my house. Both the TV install technician and the electrician worked very well together and worked methodically to ensure that our installation looked perfect. I have to say that I am VERY impressed with the work that was performed. The TV looks awesome and my wife is so proud to show it off to our friends and family. They did an excellent job and it looks like the TV has been there since the house was built. I know that if I ever need any other TVs installed or other media services that this will be the first company that I contact. Very honest company and great doing business with them.

I responded to an Angie's Deal to have my television mounted for $99. I had been using my flat screen on a television stand, but decided it might be nice to have it on the wall; little did I know that I would regret that decision. First, Nortec NEVER answers their phone. My daughter left no less than 5 messages for a call back so that we could schedule the installation. No call. EVER. Finally, I got in touch with them and set up the appointment. The people are wonderfully friendly, both on the phone and in person. When the servicemen arrived the up-charges began. They needed to install an outlet (extra charge) behind the television even though one existed right below where the television was being installed; they needed HDMI cables to connect the components to the television (which I had already purchased and been using, but the servicemen somehow could only use the cords they brought with them--large extra charge); and because I had extra electronics to install (a ROKU), they needed another cable (which I already had, but they needed theirs so another extra charge). Then, when they asked what kind of mount I needed, I thought that there was only one and that it came in the $99 charge--oh no. That was another $130. The work that they did was wonderful. It looks great on the wall, and the cords are all fed through the wall so that nothing is seen. However, this little venture cost me as much as another flat screen TV--hardly worth it.

Larry did a great job installing our media room. He installed two TV's and was very professional, courteous and exceeded our expectations and the costs were very good.

The young man was very helpful and told me about how they would go about doing the job. They were very responsive. They sent me a quote within a few days, and I realized that the price was higher than what I had originally thought. I would use them again in the future. They were professional but I just could not use them at that time.

Nortec Media was responsive and helpful from beginning to end. Larry spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me explaining the price structure and what was involved. When Alan arrived at my home to perform the service, he was friendly and went over the pricing with me again before beginning the installation. I spent around $300 for the mount, installation and electric (this was with an Angie's List "Big Deal" coupon for $99 mounting). Alan was very professional and even had another employee bring a different mount when he determined that it would look better than the one he initially planned to use. He cleaned up after himself after he was finished with the job. I had a very pleasant experience and I would use them again for other projects in my home.

I bought a new TV and had an existing home theater system, but I did not know how to hang it, or hook it up. I found this website, and Nortec Media came the same day and had the TV hanging on the wall, and the home theater all hooked up just in time for the big game that weekend. I was expecting and willing to pay more, but the price was unbeatable. I usually don't write reviews, but I had to in this case because the job turned out better than I could have imagined. Highly recommended!!!.
