R&R Landscape does EXCELLENT work - top quality, very professional, honest, always punctual and just really good people to deal with. Richard is very thoughtful with very good taste of design. He and his crew transformed my backyard, including a beautiful horizonal fence. No surprises, just fair pricing for top-notch work. I am a repeat customer for both tenant occupied properties and personal residence (previous project much smaller but same satisfaction) and RIchard will also be my first call on my next project. You will not be disappointed.

My frustration is that I have another project that I have called to get advice and estimate on and just can't get them to show up. Having been a good, prompt paying customer you might think I had built up some equity but now I am forced to find another contractor. R&R is a good company but has become a victim of their own success

We got several bids from companies that did only artificial turf, which was the original plan. A neighbor used R & R Landscaping to lay down artificial turf at their house and it look great so we asked them come over and give us a bid as well. Richard instantly had a number of additional landscaping ideas to make our backyard pop (moving shrubs, trimming trees, laying stone between the patio and pool, etc.). His bid was very competitive so we went with them. The job took only 3 days. His crew was very professional and did a great job (picture attached). Not only do they get the job done well, Richard is a very good landscape architect and can greatly improve a project!

Wonderful, price was right, installation beautiful and all done just as promised. We were so happy with this installation we had a new fence installed and also Richard Barnor was able to see my vision for a patio cover. Everything turned out beautiful and we are extremely happy.

R & R Landscaping (Richard) were the utmost professionals. They hand tried all of the plants back away from the boarder wall, check the sprinter system, clean the entire area up spotless and washed the driveway off. The grass installed and the wall are beautiful.

Wonderful. Richard quickly understood what I wanted for my back yard, and the final result is all that I had hoped for. The crew were on-time and professional. Richard worked with me to adjust as needed, and dealt with scheduling delays that were out of his control. They transformed my rarely-used, neglected back yard into a space where I want to be first-thing in the morning, at the end of the day, and any other chance I get. Richard was very responsive to scheduling inspection and providing bid. He provided great ideas re: landscape design and made it adaptable to our needs. The project went perfectly from start to finish and we are thrilled with the results. His team is very professional, trustworthy, leaves the job site spotless and the quality of work is exceptional. All round great experience.

Had two projects done and work was generally done as advertised. Richard is very creative in selecting plants, rocks, etc. I would caution anyone thinking of artificial turf here in Texas as the ground gets so hot you have to water to let your dog out. Mostly I am disappointed in how difficult it has become to get them to respond. As a prompt paying, current customer I had to call repeatedly to get a response and ultimately went elsewhere for bids on a new project. Too bad, a lot to like here but being ignored by a vendor is not something I appreciate.

My yard had terrible drainage all around the house, and Richard and his crew designed and installed a system of pipes, drains and permeable stones that have fixed the problem. Aging and overgrown shrubs were replaced as well. The company and crew are responsive, willing to make changes during the job, and are prompt and tidy with their work.

A border using Oklahoma chopped stone was used to outline the new flowerbeds. Much care was used in trimming the stone and placing it in concrete. New shrubs and groundcover were added on both sides of the front yard. It looks very professional and I have had numerous neighbors compliment the job. I interviewed 5 landscape companies and chose this company because of positive reviews from Angie's list, and they had the most sensible solution. Overall a very beautiful outcome.

Of the 4 Landscape companies I reached out to, R&R was the only one to provide an estimate. Once we got back to Richard, within a week there was a crew getting work. They hoped to finish on Saturday, but it ended up on Monday. They did a very good job and we are very happy with the results. Would definitely hire them again.

Would not recommend unless you want to start from scratch.

Richard and his team delivered beyond my expectations in the quality of workmanship with a perfessional backdrop at all times. The team started and finished on time and cleaned up, shook my hand and went on to the next success story. Call them so you too can have a successful story! They truly know what they are doing! Enough said time to go to my backyard and hit some balls!

We are very pleased with the work Richard and his crew did. Our backyard was ugly, and they transformed it into something really nice. We didn’t have much in the way of ideas for what we wanted to do. We just knew that we’d had trouble growing grass and wanted easy upkeep. We interviewed two landscapers who had very different thoughts. Richard had great ideas including extending our patio which we hadn’t thought of but was totally the right thing to do. He also recommended artificial grass as part of the design. Richard’s proposal was much higher cost wise than the other but the work and materials involved was much more extensive. He had a much better warranty on the plants than the other landscaper which we thought was important. We also liked the idea of not dealing with trying to keep grass alive any more. After his initial proposal, Richard was great about working with us to incorporate our suggestions. During the work, his crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and considerate. The work took about as long as Richard said it would. Since the completion, Richard has been very responsive when I’ve contacted him with questions. We love the way it turned out.

I'm so impressed with Richard and his crew. Richard accepted my challenge and suggested artificial pet turf - something that had not entered my mind. He assured me that the dogs can not dig through it and can not pull it up. It took about a day and a half to complete the job. They took up all the grass, leveled the yard (no more uneven spots that hold water), prepped the yard for the turf, and put down the grass. It looks wonderful. I can't wait until a good rain so I can enjoy no mud! Richard was a pleasure to work with, his crew was professional, did a great job, and cleaned up completely when done. I will hire Richard again when I'm ready for my next project.

Richard walked the property to listen carefully to what I was looking for and created a great plan which included several details that I had not thought of. The work was done very well with attention to detail and his crews were very polite and thoughtful. The only downside I saw with the project was it took approximately 15 days from start to finish to complete the full job - but it was a large one with new beds, drip lines, paver install etc. After the sale was complete, Richard was still responsive to questions and offered exceptional post-sale service that is a rarity especially during the busy spring season.

The yard is 100% better now. No more low spots, no more weeds and three types of grass. It looks natural and upkeep is much easier. Richard was very friendly and helpful and everything went as well as I could hope. His crew was respectful and efficient

It went great. I gave Richard an idea of what I wanted and, using his experience, created what I was seeking.

The work was well done. It was clear that the landscape architect and the owner (who visited our job regularly) knew exactly what they were doing. There were a couple of miscommunication between R&R and their subcontractors. When we pointed them out, R&R worked with the subcontractor to solve for the problem. Overall we were extremely pleased with the work and with the service provided by R&R.

It went very well except for the wires that was done improperly and they came back to fix the mistakes.

Excellent work done by R&R Lanscape, Inc. Mr. Richard Barnor himself was there while this work was being performed directing the whole process. I was very impressed.

Overall, I had a great experience with Richard and his crew. He is so busy it was a little tough getting on his calendar. (That is the reason I gave him a B on responsiveness and punctuality.) He clearly knows his business and offered some good suggestions. And there were even a few extra little items that he added that took me by surprise (all nice touches). I would definitely use him again.
