We are very pleased with the work. After our initial consultation with Richard, everything was completed in a day. The new beds that Richard designed look beautiful. The front of our house has never looked so good!

I would highly recommend Richard Barnor of R & R Landscape, Inc. I first purchased an Angies List deal for 40 hours of work for $1,500.00 and was very, very pleased with the results! They cleaned-up our backyard beds with 8 hours to spare. I then requested a quote from Richard to replant the beds with low maintenance plants, translplant some existing plants, add four trees, level a couple of areas in the yard, add some grass, rework some small stone walls and add a couple of stone walkways He figured my leftover 8 hours into his bid and was very easy and flexible to work with, as we refined the plan. The key word is plan - we now have a plan for landscaping our yard in stages without it looking like we're not finished! He made sure that I was happy with the plant choices and definitely catered to our wishes for low maintenance. I was most happy with the results of his and his crew's hard work on our stage one - it's beautiful! I'm very happy with the future plans, too, and look forward to working with Richard and his crew to get the put in place soon.

Richard and his crew did an outstanding job for us. We were impressed with his expertise as well as his willingness to go the extra mile to make sure we were pleased with the work. Several times during the job Richard had his crew redo work that we wanted changed. For instance, the crew started laying the firepit with a smaller diameter than we had requested, Richard had the firepit redone to our satisfaction without any hesitation. The seating walls were not quite what we wanted and again he redid them to exactly the look that we wanted. He also added a stone liner around the patio at our request without any extra charges. The extra touches to make every just right were never too much trouble for him. We paid a lot of money for his services but we feel that it was very well spent and are extremely happy with how the the patio looks. We would recommend this company to any of our friends, Richard is fine man and his crew was extremely polite and very hard working, it's a pleasure to do business with him.

Owner advised on what to plant and worked within my requests. Gave the owner a schedule window and work was completed well within it.Only took 2 days.Crews showed up early and stayed late to complete. They did useful details that I did not specifically request, but added to the quality of the job. That included running drainage pipe from downspouts to stop future erosion, running an underground electrical line to the kidney bed for fountain/lighting. They took time to make sure the sprinkler system was adjusted to cover the new landscaping, moved extra mulch and soil to my backyard at my request, cleaned the yard and touched up details at the end though the work was complete as far as I could tell. Crews were pleasant and took pride in doing a good job.Can't wait for the spingwhen everything will be in bloom.

My yard was a "BIG MESS" so I jumped at the "BIG DEAL" offer for 40 hours of landscape work. Richard called to set up an initial appointment to come by for an initial consultation. He arrived a few minutes earlier.... and waited patiently as I was a few minutes late for our appointment. After reviewing the situation, he spent about 1/2 hour with me, providing advice on several potential & reasonable plans of attack. I called him a few days later to discuss my decision to focus on installing the boulders. He provided guidance on the amount and type of boulders I would need. He told me to let him know when the boulders would be delivered because he wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be burdened by large pallets of boulders sitting in & blocking my driveway. There was a last minute change to the delivery date and I was concerned about how that was going to affect his schedule. Richard went out of his way to assure me it was "no big deal". The boulders were delivered Friday afternoon- and Richard had a crew at my house at 9 am Saturday morning.

The team came and installed the green while I was out of town and just prior to my husband's birthday. Richard was very flexible with his time and accomodated my requests. My husband is thrilled with the result!

We had moved to a new home in a new state and needed to add some curb appeal to our old home before listing it for sale. I called Richard and told him our budget and an overall idea of what we'd like to do. He took a look at our home and gave us an estimate that night, with plant names and a layout description, all within budget. My wife and I discussed the plans, made some changes, and drew a picture of where we wanted certain plants/trees planted, and emailed it to Richard. Richard verified that our changes were within the budget and was able to work us in very quickly in order to meet our realtor's photography appointment. We paid 1/2 up front via his very friendly online approval/invoicing system (which accepts PayPal!). Richard called while his team was on site in order to ask a few questions. He sent photos upon completion, and even stopped by a week or so later to check on things. I've asked him to make changes to the sprinkler settings since the work was completed, and he's been more than happy to stop by and change the watering schedule according to the drought restrictions (at no extra charge!). Keep in mind, this was all done with us living out of state! We would highly recommend R&R Landscape to anyone looking for a high quality, reliable, friendly company to handle their landscaping needs. Thank you, Richard & team!

The project went as close to perfect as you can get. Richard was extremely professional throughout the entire process. His crew was on time each day and worked long hours to get the job done within the agreed upon time frame. The work area was cleaned up at the end of each day, and they were very considerate of the fact we have kids and dogs to watch for. We had a few "brainstorms" along the way which Richard went out of his way to incorporate in the overall design. Additional costs due to added design elements, outside the original scope of the initial bid, were clearly laid out and approved by us prior to the work being done. There were no "surprise" elements to the final invoice. The yard has been completed and in service for almost one year now, and we are still extremely happy with Richard's work. We can now sleep peacefuly through the heaviest rainstorm, without worry of flooding and erosion. Our water bills have been greatly reduced through the usage of the synthetic grass and it always looks great. It was very surprising to me how few people actually realize it is synthetic. Richard's bid was one of the higher bids we received for the job, however it was apparent from our first meeting, and throughout the project, that he had the professionalism and work ethic we were looking for. He holds himself to strict and exacting standards which makes it a real pleasure to work with him. We highly recommend Richard and R&R Landscape for all landscaping design and implementation projects. We have and will continue to call him for any additional landscaping needs we may have.

Overall A+ Experience. I've even asked Richard for a quote to perform some additional work in our backyard. If you are considering R&R for a landscape project I would encourage you to go forward with them.. you won't be disappointed.

This recommendation is to recognize the character and performance of Richard Barnor, General Manager of R&R Landscape. We had 6 people bid on our patio renovation and we chose Mr. Barnor. He was not the least expensive, but I was very impressed with his excellent communication and follow-up. He met with me several times to discuss different design concepts, as well as providing several samples of stone. He has a great crew and the work was completed on time and exceeded our expectations. Every phase of the project was handled in the most professional manner. I highly recommend Mr. Barnor. The quality of his work and his professionalism are outstanding. We will definitely use his company for all future projects on our home.

while it took a while for him to get back to me after my first call, scheduled appt was different than what he had,but he did come and was very professional, showed up on the scheduled day of the work and did a good job of pruning my hedges, bushes and trees. Cleaned out a flower bed also.

Richard was amazing! My wife and I had been thinking about renovating our backyard for a couple of years, and then I found R&R via Angie's List. We took the plunge. It was worth it! Richard was very hands-on. He dropped by for an initial walkthrough, and was very informative with his own ideas for the backyard space. We did not have a design in mind, so we leaned on his experience heavily. Richard sent us a quote for the landscaping within a few days. My wife and I looked over his estimate (which included a very detailed picture based on our home survey) and the positioning/type of suggested plants and hardscaping. Every item was individually priced, so it was very easy to determine what would fit in our budget. We got back to Richard with our observations / budget limits, and he was VERY helpful and easy to work with. He got back to us with a revised estimate and we pulled the trigger. Richard and his guys started work on time every day, and perhaps most shockingly, did NOT run over on his estimated time of completion. They were done exactly when he said they'd be done... to the day! All in all, we were VERY pleased with Richard and his team. He was very accommodating, and he spotted several issues during the course of the landscaping renovation that were not on his list, and fixed them. He really took care of us, and I'd refer my friends and family to him in a second.

I had a good experience with R&R Landscape overall. I hired R&R based upon an Angie's List "Big Deal" that offered 16 hours of landscaping work for $600. Upon reviewing the work that I needed to be completed, R&R did not feel like they could do the work without additional compensation and the project ended up costing about 85% more than originally expected. Aside from the additional expense, the work that they did was good. They missed a couple of stumps that were supposed to be ground down, but overall, I am satisfied with their work.

He had a professional crew. They were very timely. They got everything done on schedule. They showed up when they were supposed to.

I purchased a coupon through Angie's List Big Deal - 16 man hours of work for $600. The deal also included 1 hour of consulting. Richard contacted me the next day to set an appointment. There was a mix up on the appoinment time, so he arrived late. Also, the consulting lasted about 10 minutes rather than one hour. The workers showed up two days later as scheduled. They did the work Richard promised, moving landscaping rocks, removing old weed barrier, installing new weed barrier, and replacing the rocks. They also put down decomposed granite under the weed barrier. They were able to finish that job early so also did some general cleanup of another bed. All in all we were pleased with the work.

Richard was always very punctual during all phases - quote, installation, and follow-up. He was very thorough in all phases, too. He offered good suggestions and was a pleasure to work with.

Richard has installed forever lawn in 2 places. I have resided. He did such a great job. The first time i tracked him down a few years later to do another install at my new home. He is punctual, thorough, & gives fair prices.

Mr. Barnor and his men arrived a my house about 9:30 am. They started working --took only a short lunch break--and worked til 8:oclock at which time they had completed the job. It was a very tedious job because of having to cut the artificial turf to fit around each piece of flagstone. The area turned out beautiful!! I was very pleased. This was on Saturday. The following Tuesday, they returned around 9:30 and completed the landscaping around the back of my pool. They did a wonderful job, and again I was very pleased. I furnished the flagstone,plants,mulch and landscapes mix.
