Description of Work: Left 2 requests on their 'contact us' site, never heard back or had any contact from them at all- not even to say they were too busy.....Budget was $9-$10k for a 30x30 backyard redo. They might be a good landscape company, but are very poor in customer service/communication, in my humble opinion.

Description of Work: Richard came out and gave some recommendations for our backyard beds. It included planting 3 medium size shrubs and about 10 very small dwarf plants along a fence, removing a small dead oleander tree, and mulching both the backyard beds and front yard bids. We also asked him to look at trimming our oak tree in the front yard for shape, lighting and stability. The bill came back at over $1500. He quoted $650 for the tree alone which is 2-3 times what other landscapers/arborists quoted....so when we asked him to exclude that part of the work and work towards the other part of the recommendations....he told us that it wasn't worth his time unless the job included the tree (i.e, lots more profitable). The bottom line is that if you aren't going to spend more than $1500 he will not consider it to be worth his time. Better to look elsewhere.

Description of Work: Approximately 10 days ago, I left a message for Richard, the owner to contact me. I wanted an estimate on a sprinkler system. I have a very large yard and the 64% savings (from 4,200.00 to 1,499.00) was very attractive to me since I am on a fixed income. Richard set day appointments and failed to show. Approximately 1.5 weeks after my initial contact, I left him a message advising I needed to hear from him regarding my request for a bid. My pecan tree broke a limb and it occured to me I might have to have the entire tree removed; hence this was a second reason to speak with him. He returned my call w/i 24 hours. He noted my door was open and my yard was "big". He did not tell me why he did not ring the doorbell. In any event, quoted me a fee of 5300.00 and stated the discount coupon would not apply. I admit I am disappointed with his lack of interest. His reviews look to be very nice. I did not pursue his services any further. I will continue to look for a contractor. Thanks. Joan Hayes
