They install her pool. I called 15 or 20 times to get a repair scheduled that they’ve already given me a bid for. No return phone call.

I was referred to Pool Environments by a coworker that had a extensive backyard project done with them and she spoke highly of this company. I conformed their quality on Angi and was excited to begin work with them on my pool and backyard remodel. I was very disappointed when I left 2 messages on the phone provided by Angi and never received the courtesy of a phone call, text of email. Very unprofessional.

They've repaired broken suctions line after locating them. Very professional experts. They've removed and replaced the pump with a variable speed pump. Excellent service. We are so happy with the work that Marc, Eric and team provided for us. During the estimate, they spent the time with us to make sure they understood what we wanted to accomplish. Eric was great in helping us pick out stones and in deciding on a design for the back wall. The crew was professional and took the time to do work that was high quality. The end result is a beautiful new pool wall and a new heater that we really love. We couldn't be happier with these guys, and we'll definitely use Pool Environments again.

Buying a house with a pool was a very rude awakening to the business and scams in the industry. Finding an honest, reliable company was frustrating and challenging. We ended up always doing our own pool maintenance and repairs, but kept back-burnering one that we never had time to get to. Not having our own "pool guy" we found ourselves in an urgent situation when we had an inspection scheduled for the closing of our home. We had converted our filter system to another source, but the old booster/cleaning pump was still connected and leaking. I called Pool Environments and left a voice message very late in the day. Marc returned my call shortly after business hours and was at our house in less than thirty minutes. He assessed the situation and gave us a quote. He told me that he would be over early the next morning before our 9am inspection. As I was preparing to leave the house for the inspection, I checked on the pool system. Marc had already been to the house, completed the work, and his office emailed me the invoice later that morning. Marc even provided a free estimate after the home inspection for updates that we were grandfathered in on. We couldn't be more happy with the service Pool Environment's provided us and would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest company to care for all of your pool service and maintenance needs.

I have four contractors bidding to rebuild our swimming pool. Of all four, Pool Environments took the longest to come to our house. The gentleman who came was in and out quickly - didn't have time to make suggestions or answer questions - and told me that he is so busy that it would be about two days before we would get a bid. After two days, I asked for a status on the bid and he said it would be over the weekend before he could tackle it. Today is Monday and still no bid. Other companies were at our house within a day or two and had their bids to us that night or the next morning. I didn't have to follow up with them at all; in fact, when I had questions, I got immediate answers. I used to oversee construction projects with a bank - lots of interaction with contractors. Aside from skill of work, customer service was of utmost importance. Pool Environments has missed that mark! RESPONSE TO VENDOR, 5/9: On the morning of Monday 5/4, I sent an email to the salesman, asking if he would be submitting the bid he promised over the weekend. He responded that it would be later in the day and that it was likely his bid would be the highest of all and asked if he should continue. I asked him to submit his bid and he did so at approximately 10:00 p.m. that night. I reviewed his bid and needed some clarification, so on Tuesday morning (5/5) I sent a reply, asking my questions. The salesman called me this time and said he was too busy to answer my questions; Pool Environments was "over-committed" and he really felt it would be better if I just went with "one of my other options." Perhaps on the day I initially called Pool Environments to make an appointment, the better action would have been: "Thank you for calling. At this time we are not taking new customers due to our heavy workload. We do hope that you will try us again or you will find another vendor well suited to your needs." I would have respected - and appreciated - that because it would have kept all of us from wasting our time.

Spoke with the receptionist twice and both times she promised someone would call me back. Finally submitted a request online and got a generic email that didn't answer any of my questions. When the guy would schedules the work called me back, he told me how busy they were and would get back to me on my questions. Never heard from them again - very disappointing experience.

Called 3 times over several week period in early 2015 to inquire about having a pool renovation done. First two times, the receptionist took name and number and said someone would call. Never happened. Third time asked to speak to a specific individual in sales, by name. Gave that person all the information again, including our address which he requested. Said he would have the individual who performs the home visit call back the following day. 10 days later still haven't received that call. Since they asked for our address before we even talked to anyone about a home visit (none of the many other companies I contacted did this), I can only surmise that we live on the wrong side of the tracks. Shame on them... Might I suggest that, if you only want jobs in Highland Park-type areas, you have the common courtesy to return phone calls informing the inquirer of that. And post that restriction on Angie's list rather than saying "Dallas Fortworth Metroplex With Outer Areas Available". Might I also suggest that you charge for providing estimates in order to weed out the riff-raff, if that's your intention.

Had a problem with my gas heater for the pool and spa a Pentair Master Temp 250. It showed an error indicator ("SERVICE SYSTEM") and the user manual indicated that the problem is low water pressure; this could be either actual low water pressure or a bad flow sensor. My mistake was to call a contractor to look at it. The contractor came out and of course, as is always the case, wanted to replace the entire heater because it was too old (it is not very old at all). This was "only" going to cost me $4,000! I checked and this appliance costs $1,500 online. The other option was to replace the flow sensor and that would cost me $245. I found the sensor online for $45 and replaced it in 5 minutes; it was literally like replacing a light bulb. I don't trust contractors in general, and I now know more than ever that my reasons are valid. I would not use this company. The provider says that the costs were communicated, and while that is true it does not change the fact that $117 for a simple diagnosis is very expensive. On top of that, and you can check yourself, $3,995 for a Pentair Master Temp 250 is extremely expensive as it can be purchased new for around $1,800 and installation/replacement is simply hooking it up to the plumbing, gas, and electricity. Finally, the faulty part was purchase from amazon.com, brand new and OEM, for $45 vs $245 from the provider. He can spin it any way he wants, it was a rip-off and I am happy that I checked before going ahead. You have to be very careful when it comes to contractors as most of them will only try to maximize their financial outcome of the engagement and do not really care about the financial impact to you. And since many customers are clueless, they get away with it most of the time.

shame on me for not pushing harder for their cost estimate before the came on site and charged $92. I knew I needed the pump motor replaced. I ended up having Leslie's do the work for $800 all in. These guys for the same thing are $1300 plus. I've found that some of the best rated service providers on Angie's list are the most expensive. I'm willing to pay a premium but a 65% premium, no way.

These guys are the real deal! Prompt, courteous, experienced, knowlegeable. The technician scoped the problem. The thoroughly discussed the options w/ cost estimate. Then promptly repaired the issue. I would definitely call them for any futher pool issues.

Great experience in a very significant sized pool / spa design and construction. I am glad we did not go with the lowest cost bid, but instead went with the company that is focused on quality and customer satisfaction. We could not be happier with the transformation of our backyard into paradise.

It was a great experience overall. I've had 3 other pool service companies help me out with my pool equipment in the past two years since moving into this home with a pool. I've been looking for a company who is professional, dependable, available and reasonably priced. I think I found that in Pool Environments and hope it continues. A little pricing but if they can do the other things the value is worth it. I coordinated with the technician a couple days prior to coming to my house texting pictures showing the problem. Technician showed up on time with parts needed to complete the job. He was knowledgeable and talked me through the the problems and and solution. I will definitely be using this company again. It was a great experience.

The issue was minor but I did not have the knowlegge to correct the issue myself The service technician was timely and knowlegeable. He patiently answered all my questions and provided me with the knowledge to correct the issue in the future.

Something so simply and quick to fix to get my pool running again, but on Friday afternoon heading into the weekend with a 5 year old's pool party coming up on Sunday, my usual pool repair company wouldn't help me until next week! I immediately checked Angie's List and contacted Pool Environments. Cynthia had a technician at my house within the hour! Fixed and ready for pool party! I am so thankful for their assistance when I wasn't even a customer. I am now. They have my business from here on out.

It was a very good experience but I do not remember how much they charged me. They were professional and they did what they said that they would do. The final bill was inline with what we had discussed before they started the work and I think that their price was okay. It was just fine. The quality of their work was good. They came and were prompt and the pump was fixed when they left. I called them maybe on a Sunday or some odd day and they returned the call and even though they were not able to come here immediately, they gave me enough guidance so that I can prevent further damage. They were also very professional.
