The job was to tear out and replace a tile floor in our master bathroom. First the good news: they were punctual and responsive. They started the job on schedule and finished on schedule. They did their best to minimize dust, although tile work is a dusty process.They always answered their phones. Next, the not as good news - and this isn't really too bad, just not stellar. There were a couple of minor areas in which we felt the craftsmanship was somewhat lacking: First, along two walls, they finished the tile runs with thin slivers of tile. It seemed to us that with better planning they could have used a slightly narrower piece of tile at the beginning of the run so that they could end the run with a wider piece, rather than using a whole tile at the beginning of the run and winding up ending with a sliver. Second, there were three tiles that were set obviously out of vertical alignment with the other tiles. We had to call this to their attention. They did fix it, but I think they should have caught it themselves.

Originally I just wanted new tile flooring in a guest bathroom. Using Angie's list as a guide, I called Plano Tile & Marble for an estimate. Bobby Valdez arrived at my house at the appointed time and gave me an immediate estimate. I was impressed and asked for estimates on 2 other bathrooms and the kitchen/breakfast/utility room. He gave me those and I faxed my approval to the home office within a day. Two workmen (or should I say "craftsmen"), Scott & Josh Landeross, showed up at the appointed hour and went to work right away. They had to remove old vinyl flooring throughout and prepare the concrete slab. This was really labor intensive and took a couple of days. The entire job took about 6 days. When finished they completely cleaned up and hauled off all trash. Everyone we dealt with was polite and knowledgeable, and were very professional. The finished product was great; more than we had even anticipated.

We have used this company for a very long time now and they are very professional. We always know we are getting the best when we use them. They are very knowledgeable and get the job done quick.
