Plano Overhead Garage Door saved the day for me!! My door stopped going up, of course with my car IN my garage and after hours, so I left a VM message asking for a call back the next morning. They called at 7:20am and had a technician out by 8am!! Nick, the technician, was very professional, efficient and had me back up and running in about 30 minutes!! Everything went great! Our garage door opener was original to our home (builder grade) which was new when we bought it. It lasted 17 years and was very noisy. We called to have it replaced and have an awesome new opener that exceeded our expectations. Jacob O’Bier was our technician and he was very professional and courteous, explained how to install the app on our phones, and features of the new opener. We highly recommend this company and will be referring our friends and neighbors.

I called for an estimate to repair my garage door. Paul came out and I was impressed by his professionalism and willingness to provide details about my options. I decided to go for a new door, based on the things Paul told me, and because I was very happy with our initial visit, I requested him to do the installation. Paul came and reviewed with me what I was wanting, and brought a couple additional items that could be installed at no extra cost, such as a different track that he recommended. He also asked me a few questions about the placement of the door, showing he was genuinely interested in having the most space in my garage. He did the work and was very thorough. He even re-aligned my opener and reset the thrust on my opener to account for the heavier door. I asked him about lubrication of the components, and showed him the lubricants I had. He confirmed they were all good, and showed me where I should lubricate for best performance. Paul was very courteous, polite, and professional. His initial impression on my led to a new door sale, and I am very happy with the work he did. I would like to request him for any additional maintenance that may be needed in the future. Because of Paul, I will continue to use "Plano Overhead Garage Door" for my garage door needs. Thanks Paul, for a great experience!

Donnie came out to assess problem (old broken suspension spring) and explained problem and offered options. Agreed to torsion spring conversion and scheduled time for work (about 36 hours later). He arrived back a few minutes early and converted both doors to new spring system quickly. Spent extra time doing fine-tuning and leveling of tracks and adjusted new opener stops. He also replaced all the rollers on doors and lubricated hinges and rollers )and taught me how to do it for ongoing maintenance. The garage was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. Best door service ever. Thanks!

As in the past P.O.G.D. was contacted on a Friday and came out and fixed the problem on Monday, everything was done as requested and we WILL use them again the next time we need garage door service! A Best Buy you might say! $189.00 total for a job well done!

This is one of the best contractors I have ever worked with! Sent a contact inquiry based on the reviews of other customers. They immediately contacted me back and scheduled an appointment for the next day. On appointment day, their technician was held up at a previous job, and they called me and rescheduled for the next morning. Arriving promptly they looked over my garage door And gave me all my options. Absolutely no pressure. Got a quote for replacement of my opener that seemed reasonable. Within half an hour a technician arrived with the parts and within another hour the job was done. They programmed all of my remotes, so it was ready to go. Do not go anywhere else for your garage door repair or replacement. There’s a good reason this company has been in business since 1977: Service!

The technicians arrived on time as scheduled. They explained what needed to be done and gave a precise time as to how long the job will take. They actually finished a little early. They were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend if looking to have a garage door replaced.

We had an early morning "garage door emergency" - called the company as soon as they opened, and they were able to schedule us for a same-day service appointment. The appointment was for early afternoon, but they said if they could get someone out earlier they would. Turns out they could and they did....and before noon we had our problem diagnosed, and our options for repair or replace explained. Given the age and condition of our door, we decided to replace. The door we wanted was in stock, and we were able to get it installed that day! Brian (with an assist from Kyle) did the installation. Brian kept us informed thoughout the process, and when it was complete -- he took the time to really explain how to maintain the new garage door. We appreciate that. It's amazing how quickly and efficently these guys work. We were very impressed by everyone we dealt with - Plano Overhead Garage Door will be our "go-to" garage door company from now on.

Called on a Saturday, Dec. 31, when they opened at 9 am. Told to expect someone between 12 and 12:30 that day. They called again about 10:30 to tell me a technician would be able to come between 11 and 11:30, if convenient for me. Got there about 11:10 and discussed what was needed. Told me it would take about 45 minutes to do the total job, gave me the turnkey price, and got my ok. All done within the promised time to my complete satisfaction. Will use them again for all my garage door and opener problems

We have a (very heavy) wood overlay on our metal garage door and it turns out the springs that the builder used were commercial grade. Perfectly fine for our home but when one (or two) broke, there was no way that door was coming back up. Juan came out that very day(!) and determined that three greens and one gold spring would work (since POGD doesn't carry the large commercial grade springs). It took a couple of hours and cost a bit more for 4 springs instead of two but the door has never worked as smoothly as it does now. We are very pleased with the service and the results!

Right on time. Excellent work. No pushy sales. They send out a text telling your tech is on his way with his picture. Also, a bit about him so you can have a real conversation with him, not just garage door talk. Nice touch.

JT came to replace the spring on our garage door that had broken making the door inoperable. He explained what he was going to do and set to work. After he finished he had me come to the garage so that he could explain some things. He showed me where he had installed new bolts in the tracks and repaired some that weren't correct. He also pointed out that the opener itself was wearing badly and that the central shaft was slightly bent. The door is now quiet and performs smoothly. My daughter has also used Plano Overhead Garage Doors.

Better and faster than expected! Jake replaced the builder-grade opener with one that wasn't broken. Before the opener broke, it was louder than the rollers and the creaking of the door. Then it broke and the gears sounded like demons screaming. After replacing the opener, the only real sound is the rollers in the wheel track and the door. Going to be calling them back out to replace the wheels and my other opener for an almost silent garage!
