Now it works just fine.
Description of Work: I initially thought that we needed a new motor, but he realized that one of the tension springs was broken. I had him replace both springs and he adjusted the sensitivity (so that an obstruction would not be crushed).

Everything went smoothly
Description of Work: A very nice Service rep came out on time a few days ago and we determined that it would be more cost effective to get a new garage door opener instead of repairing it. Today Tristan came to install the new unit. He even came a little early. He completed the work, showed me how to operate the unit and even helped me get the WiFi all set up. He was a very nice young man and did a fine job. I was happy to get a free keypad entry installed as well. Thank you!!

THEY CAME OUT AND GAVE A FREE ESTIMATE, WITH DETAILED INFORMATION REGARDING PROS AND CONS OF EACH SPRING THAT THEY OFFERED. IT TOOK 45 MINUTES AND MY GARAGE WAS FIXED.

IN OCTOBER, WE SEARCHED ANGIE'S LIST AND SELECTED PLANO OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR TO COME PUT IN A NEW GARAGE DOOR FOR US. THEY WERE PROMPT, COURTEOUS, EXTREMELY REASONABLE AND THE INSTALLER ASSURED ME THAT THE OPENER HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE MOTOR AND A FIVE YEAR WARRANTY ON ALL OTHER PARTS. WELL, THE OTHER DAY (2/28), THE DOOR WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. I CALLED THEM AT 4:00 PM AND ASKED FOR AN APPOINTMENT FOR SERVICE. THEY ASKED IF I COULD WAIT UNTIL MORNING. OF COURSE, I COULD. THEY CAME AT 8:30 AM THE NEXT MORNING, MADE SOME ADJUSTMENTS, FIXED THE DOOR, THANKED ME AND THERE WAS NO CHARGE. PLANO OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR IS A PLEASURE! IT HAS BEEN EXTREMELY POSITIVE.
